“Laura was absolutely amazing while taking care of our cats for two weeks. From the daily updates to the adorable photos and the extra care she gave, we could tell they were all very happy and comfortable the whole time. It’s such a relief to be away and know your pets are in the best hands. Laura went above and beyond — she was reliable, caring, and clearly loves what she does. We couldn’t have asked for better care! Thank you, Laura, for treating our cats like they were your own. We’re so grateful and would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for a truly wonderful pet sitter. 🐾❤️”

“Sier was wonderful, she was a last minute solution to our problem. Not only did she help me through the booking process but she was honest, thoughtful and obliging while she dropped in to feed our cat. Sier provided photos and has excellent communication skills, she even tried playing with our 'stick in the mud' cat. Thank you Sier we will definitely be repeat customers!”

“My kitty Sonic made friends with Brittany very quickly. Everything went extremely smooth. The pictures she sent of Sonic showed how happy and relaxed he was with her resulting in a worry free vacay for me I highly recommend her!”

About: My husband and I have always loved dogs and had a golden retriever named Murphy, who we got in 2020. In 2024, he became paralyzed, and we cared for him for eight months before he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025. We’re both marathon runners and spend a lot of time outdoors, so dogs in our care enjoy plenty of walks or runs, as appropriate and according to your schedule. We know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby while you’re away, so you can expect lots of photo updates and love while they’re with us. We are available for boarding well as dog walking or running in the evening. Our schedule allows us to be off all summer and other holidays such as Easter week and Christmas. We both work full-time but are typically home around 3:00pm which means lots of time to play after work or go for a walk/run. We have a fenced yard and live close to the trails for walks and runs. Dogs are part of the family in our house and are welcome on the couch. We will love your dog like our own. When Murphy became injured we spent the next 8 months managing his care including bladder expression, bowel expression, and his wheelchair. If you have a special needs dog please let us know and we can discuss what this could look like for boarding at our house. Due to the higher needs of a disabled dog there would be an additional cost which we are unable to add on to our services directly on Rover but can discuss this at the booking time.
“Bridgit is an amazing pet sitter! We had an unexpected death in the family and had to stay away longer, Bridgit was extremely flexible and willing to help, which really took some stress off our shoulders. She's always so good with the kitties, especially for my senior girl who tends to be finicky. Bridgit always goes above and beyond, including keeping my plants alive! I will always rebook with her if she's available!”

About: I'm an active walking with a Belgian Malinois X and 2 wonderful kids! If your dog is friendly, great with children, we're ready for some outdoor adventures together. Whether a brisk walk or a leisurely stroll, your dog is in good hands. I'm a stay-at-home mom homeschooling my two kids, and we're always enjoy outdoors, especially when the weather is nice. We love to walk, explore, and have fun! If your dog is great with kids and other dogs, we'd love to have them join us for some exciting adventures. Its the perfect way to get outside, stay active, and make new furry friends! With plenty of time and attention to offer, I can provide constant care and ensure your dog feels safe and loved. The children are very much aware of different needs of different pets.
About: I've been a pet owner all my life. I have raised dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even a hedgehog! I have worked at an animal shelter, boarding kennels, served on the board of directors for the Southern Alberta Humane Society, completed a practicum at a veterinary hospital, and received a certification to be a veterinary office assistant. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of proper diets, the need for exercise and socialization, and if need be, the ability to administer medications. I believe just having a dog run around in a backyard is not considered appropriate exercise and that walking is a great way to get a dog the socialization and exercise they need. I also believe that cats should be played with and given affection on their own terms. Currently, my shift is 8 to 12, with an hour lunch from 12 to 1, then work from 1 to 3. This leaves me time in the middle of the day to attend to any clients that have mid-day medical or dietary needs. I also have a seasonal job that is for only 4 months out of the year (October, November, and January and February) that is about 5 hours every Friday and Saturday evenings. My cat rules the roost! He has his own cat trees and even the entire other side of my bed! I understand that cats are eccentric and sometimes need special accommodation in order to be happy. Cats are lessons in consent and must be given the freedom to figure things out on their own terms. I just had to send my senior dog to the Rainbow Bridge. It was heart wrenching to do, but he was no longer able to enjoy life to the fullest. I love senior dogs, probably more so than puppies! I always say senior dogs faces are white because they are so sweet that sugar is coming out of their pours and gets stuck to their face! I have experience working with and caring for senior dogs, and it is one of my favorite things to do! I love senior dogs so much, that I just adopted a formerly abused senior dog!
“Ashley has done a great job checking in on my old, diabetic cat, making sure he gets his insulin and some love and attention while we are away. Love the pictures and updates she sends as well.”

“Kylia checked on my 2 cats over the weekend, and did a great job! She's a very friendly young woman, arrived promptly at our first "meet and greet", and one of the cats (who's usually shy around strangers) took to her right away. I knew I was leaving my cats in good hands, and have no hesitation in recommending Kylia to look after your pets!”
“Janaya was fantastic. Her experience with big dogs and dogs that have little idiosyncrasies was amazing. My boy is extremely timid and fearful and she was wonderful with him, patient and kind. She definitely helped to ease my stress with being gone, knowing that I have somebody I can trust to keep my boy safe and happy!!! I will continue to use her and I would recommend her to anyone!!!”

About: I have always been one to love animals and be outdoors. Lots of wildlife come to me without fear. When my brother and I were younger we had hamsters, guinea pigs, frogs, and fish. My parents always had dogs and cats. I would help out by walking Levi and cleaning Minnie's litter box. They both have passed away in 2017. I now have my own dog and cat. I've trained skip myself since he was 9 weeks old. All my friends say I've done a good job and that hes well behaved. They all asked how I did it. LOTS of patience, consistency and research. I have pet first aid as well. I have experience with high energy dogs as I have one myself. In the winter months I'm laid off of work from my actual job. I'll have more then enough time to walk, play, exercise your fur babies as needed. When the snow is gone and spring comes ill have alot less time but we can maybe work something out! I have a fenced yard. I have a pomeranian/husky and a couple cats to keep your fur baby entertained or have company. I give my dog atleast 1 walk a day. Come summer time I take him on lots of hikes as I love outdoors and hiking. I either give skip a brain activity or a lick matt once a day. Especially on the cold days where we don't take long walks. I use to put skip in his giant kennel when i leave but he's grown and matured alot that he doesn't need it. If your dog requires a kennel I have a giant one i can set up if need be. I will exercise your pup and give it the attention it needs.
About: I have had dogs all my life. I was a dog groomer for forty years in Calgary, owning and operating the Grooming Room. Humanitarian award recipient. I am retired so I am available 24/7. If you need me to stay in your home, be assured that's what I'lll do. Your pets will not be alone. Do not offer this service. I only do housesitting and drop-ins to your home for your cats or dogs. Me staying in your home is less stressful for your pet.
About: I grew up around cats and dogs and I now have a gorgeous 4 year old Border Collie x Pyrenees! He can join us on our walks or not depending on your comfort and preference! I have also worked at a dog day care, I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I’m willing to build a schedule with clients on an individual basis, I am currently a stay at home mum to two school aged kids so my day time availability is quite open :) I always treat animals with love and respect and would treat your fur baby as if it were my own. I also have a good work ethic and would treat a clients home with care and respect.

“Jared was awesome! We were in town for a wedding and didn’t want to have to worry about the dogs while we were at the ceremony and reception. He visited twice, and kept us well informed. He sent photos of the time he spent with my dogs and I could tell they were happy and were experiencing love. This dude stopped by our hotel to meet the dogs the day before we needed him. He just stopped over on his way to the gym! Really a great experience!”

About: I've had animals all my life, they bring so much joy into a home and I have an empty one. I have lots of free time on my hands and what better way than to fill that time with helping animals get outside more. I communicate with the owners and abide by their rules that they have in their own homes but if allowed the dogs are free to cuddle on the couch or my bed. We have a big yard for them to run around and a dog pool. I have no animals or children. I'm not ready for the full commitment not until I am done school and have a full time job where I can build a schedule for me and my fur family. I don't work right now I'm doing school at home. I am home 7 days a week all day every day. I have all this time and I would like to use it for owners because I do understand how stressful it can be knowing your busy and can't take a animal out all the time for him or her to get their exercise. I don't have crates for crate trained dogs. I have a big back yard with a pool. I can do dog walking training with out abusing your fur family. We can even go over how I do my training. All food and treats I give to the animals will be owner approved but please pack your dogs food and treats. I also have no animals in my home.

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, from growing up with them in the household to raising my own now 3 years old dog from 4 months of age. I have basic training knowledge as well as I am a very patient loving owner. I enjoy spending time with pets, playing with them and giving your animals the peace to relax while you're away. Open to wellness checks during work days or longer stays while you're away! I'm currently available Monday - Saturday, 11am-11pm. I have a reliable SUV that can also carry up to 2 dogs for trips if need be. I am not currently set up to board pets; however I am able to do wellness checks/walks or house sit your pet in your home where they are familiar with their own routine and surroundings.
“Danielle has taken care of my pets multiple times. I always come home to pets that are happy, healthy and safe. She goes the extra mile to make sure the pets are comfortable and keeps me informed every step of the way. I can relax knowing they are well taken care of, even when Im out of the country or out of reach for longer stretches of time. I highly recommend her services! Thanks Danielle!”
