Brooke was excellent, she took care of both of our middle-aged cats while we were away, doing everything we had asked and then some. We really appreciated the photos and videos of her visits that she sent us too, that was a nice bonus and made us feel like our cats were being well looked after. Will definitely book again!

Currently working part time in Lethbridge, message me and we can see if our schedules work together for me to take care of your pet(s). I have done pet sitting in others homes before. About: I have volunteered with a animal rescue in Calgary since the floods in 2013, which is where i learned the basics of taking care of animals from all different paths of life! I have had at least one cat my entire life, which is why I love them so very much (despite being slightly allergic), but I have also met very few dogs who don’t love me. I am a master at cleaning litter boxes, getting scared animals to come out of their shell and be friendly, and of course walking dogs (or cats) and learning what they need, but also how to make their time better, no matter their age or limitations! I am currently a full time student at the University of Lethbridge, though I have no classes on Fridays (or weekends) and am done everyday by 3pm at the latest! Although both my own animals live up in Calgary with my parents I still keep my skills as a pet owner! I respect all rules that you will give me and ensure that security and privacy is my top priority, right under the care of the fur babies. My partner and I share a car so my availability may be dependent upon whether I have access to a vehicle or not, but I am a whizz at transit!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have two cats that I absolutely love, and I regularly house-sit for many of my friends’ pets. When I’m not with my own or sitting for others, I volunteer at the Humane Society because I genuinely miss being around animals. I understand how important trust, routine, and comfort are, and I treat every pet like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently a student at the University. I am only taking 4 classes so I have lots of free time to take care of animals. I have no animas in my home currently but would care for yours like it’s my own. Whatever your pet needs is what I will do.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and unique skills in pet care. I have a deep understanding and love for dogs of all ages, particularly senior dogs. Having cared for my own senior dog for many years, I am well-versed in the special attention and care they require, from administering medications to ensuring their comfort and well-being. Additionally, I have a unique background working with mushing dogs in Alaska. This experience has equipped me with exceptional skills in handling high-energy dogs and understanding their needs for physical activity and mental stimulation. I incorporate engaging games and activities into my pet care routine to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy. My commitment to providing personalized and attentive care ensures that every dog I look after feels loved and secure. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra care, I am dedicated to making their time with me enjoyable and stress-free. Pet care has always been a significant part of my life. Recently, I moved to Lethbridge, and while settling into this new community, I’ve found that my passion for caring for dogs remains as strong as ever. My beloved dog of 17 years recently passed away, and this has deepened my desire to continue working with dogs and providing them with the love and care they deserve. In Client’s Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to maintain their usual routine to minimize any stress or anxiety. I ensure they are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and affection. I also take care of any additional tasks, such as watering plants or bringing in the mail, to give my clients peace of mind while they are away. I always keep the home clean and tidy, respecting the space as if it were my own. Regardless of the location, my goal is to provide a loving and attentive environment where pets feel happy and secure. I am committed to ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times

About: I have cared for friends and family's pets, and pets of my own. I have house sat for dogs, cats, and ducks! Other animals I've cared for include rabbits, birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I currently work part time, so I have several days during the week including weekends to provide pet care, walks, and playtime with your fur baby. In the clients home, it will depend on their rules and what's allowed. I would respectfully follow the clients instructions on where the animal is allowed to go.

About: I’ve been around dogs and taken care of them my entire life; I have one family I regularly dog sit/house sit for and have worked with them for at least 12 years. I foster dogs so I can do some training and working with them to get them to be confident and well behaved. I have the kind of personality/ energy that animals are drawn towards so not very often to I find they don’t warm up to me quickly. I have worked with all sorts of types and age ranges nothing bugs me. I will also watch cats, small animals. I’m currently doing casual work so have tons of time, just need a couple days or more notice so I can add it to my calendar with my appointments. Open to walks/ drop in’s or house sitting as well! I foster dogs so I will probably always have someone that can keep your fur baby company; I mostly just do dog walking, drop in checks and house sitting. Under special circumstances I would consider having your pet at my house just there are a lot of stairs and the yard is small

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my experience working with pets of all personalities and needs. I have several years of hands on animal care experience through veterinary clinics, so I understand how important patience, safety, and attention to detail are. I aim to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and at home while you’re away whether that means playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply giving them a calm and safe environment. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping everything familiar and stress-free for the pet by maintaining their usual routine, environment, and comfort items. I follow each pet’s normal feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any specific instructions from the owner as closely as possible to keep their routine consistent. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication, and I always ensure pets are well-fed, exercised, and given plenty of care and companionship while their owners are away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
