It was so nice to see our pet bunny every day through the pictures Katie took. We came home to a clean litter box and cage. Everything was tidy and our bunny was happy.

About: I have volunteered with a animal rescue in Calgary since the floods in 2013, which is where i learned the basics of taking care of animals from all different paths of life! I have had at least one cat my entire life, which is why I love them so very much (despite being slightly allergic), but I have also met very few dogs who don’t love me. I am a master at cleaning litter boxes, getting scared animals to come out of their shell and be friendly, and of course walking dogs (or cats) and learning what they need, but also how to make their time better, no matter their age or limitations! I am currently a full time student at the University of Lethbridge, though I have no classes on Fridays (or weekends) and am done everyday by 3pm at the latest! Although both my own animals live up in Calgary with my parents I still keep my skills as a pet owner! I respect all rules that you will give me and ensure that security and privacy is my top priority, right under the care of the fur babies. My partner and I share a car so my availability may be dependent upon whether I have access to a vehicle or not, but I am a whizz at transit!

Robin was absolutely amazing with my two senior cats! She took the time to learn their needs and quirks and before long she was getting kisses and snuggles! I really appreciate her communication and initiative to make sure they were both comfortable. Will be booking again!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have two cats that I absolutely love, and I regularly house-sit for many of my friends’ pets. When I’m not with my own or sitting for others, I volunteer at the Humane Society because I genuinely miss being around animals. I understand how important trust, routine, and comfort are, and I treat every pet like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently a student at the University. I am only taking 4 classes so I have lots of free time to take care of animals. I have no animas in my home currently but would care for yours like it’s my own. Whatever your pet needs is what I will do.

About: I have had pets in my family since I was 3 years old! Most recently, a German Shephard Husky with other breeds as he was a rescue, named Marley. He went to doggy heaven 2 years ago. I lived with my cousin for 6 years in which we had the high energy Miss Coco for 4 of those years that would visit me in my basement. Then my old roomates small dog who kept to himself at times but didn't mind an odd game of fetch and cuddles at home. I don't have as much experience with cats however, I have done a few stints of sitting in the past. I enjoy getting outdoors for walks daily so having a companion would make it even better! If you need someone to stay at your house for a weekend or even a week as well, I have no problem with a meet and greet and seeing if it's a good fit :) Thank you for your consideration! I'm currently working part-time in which is either 9:30am-3pm or 4pm-10pm and will prioritize a visit or walk based on what your pet needs and for however long. Making the pet feel most comfortable is a number one priority, so however the owner sees fit I will make sure to follow those guidelines. I do have a home with a small fenced in dog run behind however, if the dog is good around others and would like to burn some energy at the dog park I'm more than happy to do that!

About: I’ve been around dogs and taken care of them my entire life; I have one family I regularly dog sit/house sit for and have worked with them for at least 12 years. I foster dogs so I can do some training and working with them to get them to be confident and well behaved. I have the kind of personality/ energy that animals are drawn towards so not very often to I find they don’t warm up to me quickly. I have worked with all sorts of types and age ranges nothing bugs me. I will also watch cats, small animals. I’m currently doing casual work so have tons of time, just need a couple days or more notice so I can add it to my calendar with my appointments. Open to walks/ drop in’s or house sitting as well! I foster dogs so I will probably always have someone that can keep your fur baby company; I mostly just do dog walking, drop in checks and house sitting. Under special circumstances I would consider having your pet at my house just there are a lot of stairs and the yard is small

About: I am a competitor in IGP (formerly Schutzhund) as well as flyball. I have been a member of the Canadian Search Dog Association, worked at a dog kennel, ran training classes, and am experienced in puppy raising. I am comfortable handling females in season, and intact dogs. I am comfortable in giving prescribed medication. I am currently available on weekends for boarding, pet drop in, dog walking, and private training lessons. I have dogs of my own, do daily walks and training sessions. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and unique skills in pet care. I have a deep understanding and love for dogs of all ages, particularly senior dogs. Having cared for my own senior dog for many years, I am well-versed in the special attention and care they require, from administering medications to ensuring their comfort and well-being. Additionally, I have a unique background working with mushing dogs in Alaska. This experience has equipped me with exceptional skills in handling high-energy dogs and understanding their needs for physical activity and mental stimulation. I incorporate engaging games and activities into my pet care routine to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy. My commitment to providing personalized and attentive care ensures that every dog I look after feels loved and secure. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing extra care, I am dedicated to making their time with me enjoyable and stress-free. Pet care has always been a significant part of my life. Recently, I moved to Lethbridge, and while settling into this new community, I’ve found that my passion for caring for dogs remains as strong as ever. My beloved dog of 17 years recently passed away, and this has deepened my desire to continue working with dogs and providing them with the love and care they deserve. In Client’s Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to maintain their usual routine to minimize any stress or anxiety. I ensure they are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and affection. I also take care of any additional tasks, such as watering plants or bringing in the mail, to give my clients peace of mind while they are away. I always keep the home clean and tidy, respecting the space as if it were my own. Regardless of the location, my goal is to provide a loving and attentive environment where pets feel happy and secure. I am committed to ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times

The average cost for Pet Sitting in Lethbridge on Rover is $22.2 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 60 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Lethbridge. About 89% of Lethbridge sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Lethbridge stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lethbridge choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
