“I can’t say enough of how good of an experience we have had with Melissa. It was my first time apart from my 2yr old dog. I had a lot of anxiety and worry going in but Melissa calmed my nerves and was very patient with all my questions. My boy stayed at her house for 4 nights. I had initially planned on leaving him 2 nights but I was recovering from a medical procedure and needed some extra time. Melissa was able to accommodate an extra two nights Melissa sent me numerous pictures and videos throughout each day. My boy looked like he was having the time of his life. When I brought him home he was so tired and took very long naps from all the playing he had done the last several days. If I could give above 5 stars I would. I was able to recover without having any stress about my dog. I would recommend Melissa to all my friends and family and will definitely be a repeat customer if need be.”

About: Hi! I have been dog sitting for two years and I’ve sat more than 30 dogs while working from home. My partner has been cat-sitting for about 6 months and we both volunteer at the cat-shelter once every week. We have our own rescue baby, a three year old pup named Rumour, and I have a dog back home, a now old boy, named Mocha. My sister has a bearded dragon rescue named Ben who I consider my niece and we're pretty sure she (the lizard) hates us, but we love her regardless. We're both more fond of pets than we are of people and we'd love to host your pets when you're away. We'll make sure to give them plenty of yard time and attention so they don't miss you too much, and cater to any food/walk requirements they may have. My girl is good with other animals and is allowed free access anywhere in the house or yard, but if your pets have a no bed/no couch/no off-leash rules we can help reinforce that! We have a 2 bedroom on the first floor of a landed home, a big yard for the dogs to run around and plenty of room and enrichment toys for cats and dogs inside the house. I do shift work or work from home and my partner goes in about 2 days in the week so at least one of us is always available at home to provide constant supervision! We have taken care of puppies and senior dogs as well, and I can administer oral medication and prepare home cooked food if required. We also have a car and a dog safety seat belt in case your pet needs to be picked up or needs the vet, or if they just like car rides! We can't wait to meet your babies ♥️

I'm not a very good runner but I'd definitely love to take some furry friends on some nice long walks through town, or to the park or just wherever our feet take us. I had a lot of anxiety and worry going in but Melissa calmed my nerves and was very patient with all my questions. My boy stayed at her house for 4 nights. I had initially planned on leaving him 2 nights but I was recovering from a medical procedure and needed some extra time. Melissa was able to accommodate an extra two nights Melissa sent me numerous pictures and videos throughout each day. My boy looked like he was having the time of his life. When I brought him home he was so tired and took very long naps from all the playing he had done the last several days. If I could give above 5 stars I would. I was able to recover without having any stress about my dog. I would recommend Melissa to all my friends and family and will definitely be a repeat customer if need be.”

About: I treat my dogs as family. They will be fed well and hydrated. Potty breaks are a must every 1-2 hours and will make sure to walk them daily. I’m a full time mom at home, my daughter is 6 years old and I got plenty of time to take care of dogs at the moment. I have a fenced yard and a 3 year old Shitzu/Pom to accompany your fur animal. I can crate your animal too if needed. They will be fed routinely and I can ensure that they are well hydrated.

About: With 20+ years of large and small animal care under my belt along with almost 10 years of veterinary experience and training, I am happy to provide you with the peace of mind that your furry family members are in loving and capable hands I work two days a week as a feedlot vet tech and also work part-time as a farmhand. We run a contracting business so I do our books from our home and help on the job site when needed. I am happy to welcome your vaccinated, healthy dogs into our home. We can accommodate farm dogs, outdoor-only dogs and any friendly dogs that are kennel trained or nondestructive when left at home. We fit your fur babies into our everyday life and make sure they feel right at home! I can even perform pedicures on well-behaved pets if requested. We are hoping to have a pet shower setup soon so your pets can come home fluffy and clean after their stay cause the farm has lots of inviting smells and piles… I do my utmost to keep your sweet pet happy and healthy while you are away. Does your pet receive scheduled medications? No worries I am experienced in administering meds and would be happy to keep your pet on their schedule. I am ready to follow your specific care instructions as every pet is different and has different thresholds. My own pets are all fully vaccinated and I prefer that all my clients pets are also fully up to date to protect your furry fam and my own. I also recommend flea and tick medication and strongly encourage deworming.
