“It’s was Remi’s first stay with Darren and Iris. They took such good care of her. Walks and plays with other pups. They let her find her favourite spot looking out the front window and she had lots of snuggles. Highly recommend them to anyone needing a home away from home for their fur baby”

“Thank you for the last minute booking! Jennifer saved my butt when I forgot to make arrangements for Goose, and was more than willing to take him last minute. She sends updates and pictures, and it's very clear that he has a great time there based on the pictures! He loves playing with her kids and toys. She sent home a little puppy report card this time, which was cute. I don't have to worry when he's with Jennifer!”

“Sharon was the first person I have had watch my two dogs. I was a little nervous leaving them but she is very kind and put me (and the dogs) at ease. Very responsive to my messages and accommodating when I had to extend their stay. Her home and family were very welcoming and I felt my dogs were in great hands. Would absolutely recommend her and will use her services again in the future! Thanks Sharon!”

About: I have owned dogs for most of my adult life and grew up with dogs as well. I place a strong emphasis on good manners and positive training, and I’ve taught all of my dogs a variety of tricks and basic obedience. I currently have a two-year-old female Bloodhound who is incredibly gentle, loving, and submissive—despite her wrecking-ball size—and she does well with other dogs as long as they can tolerate (or match) her big energy! I also have a resident cat, so I only accept dogs that are known to be calm, respectful, and safe around cats. I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible for the most part. My busiest times are after school when I’m running my teenagers to their various activities or engagements! But I’m sure things are very workable on a case by case basis! I have a large fenced yard and as mentioned one playful hound who loves all dogs to help, entertain and tire your dog out! I back onto an off leash area if your dog is good with recall. And I am happy to use crates, my dog is crate trained, and quite happy to sleep there at night!
“Candace and Travis were absolutely AMAZING with our 4 month old Goldendoodle puppy, Benson! They were not afraid to take on a puppy “challenge” and Benson made a new best friend in their 3 year old Golden Retriever, Murphy! We received lots of photos and videos and text reassurance that our boy was living his best life while in their care. Highly recommend the two of them, and their gentle dog Murphy, anytime you need a safe, comfortable home away from home for your dog! The added Polaroid photos and “extras” we received from them were so special. Can’t say enough good things about them!!”

“Candace and her husband were amazing! From the moment we met them both dogs took to them right away. We had no hesitation leaving for the weekend. Our dogs were so happy when we picked them up. We will definitely book with them again when we are in the area”

About: I have always been one to love animals and be outdoors. Lots of wildlife come to me without fear. When my brother and I were younger we had hamsters, guinea pigs, frogs, and fish. My parents always had dogs and cats. I would help out by walking Levi and cleaning Minnie's litter box. They both have passed away in 2017. I now have my own dog and cat. I've trained skip myself since he was 9 weeks old. All my friends say I've done a good job and that hes well behaved. They all asked how I did it. LOTS of patience, consistency and research. I have pet first aid as well. I have experience with high energy dogs as I have one myself. In the winter months I'm laid off of work from my actual job. I'll have more then enough time to walk, play, exercise your fur babies as needed. When the snow is gone and spring comes ill have alot less time but we can maybe work something out! I have a fenced yard. I have a pomeranian/husky and a couple cats to keep your fur baby entertained or have company. I give my dog atleast 1 walk a day. Come summer time I take him on lots of hikes as I love outdoors and hiking. I either give skip a brain activity or a lick matt once a day. Especially on the cold days where we don't take long walks. I use to put skip in his giant kennel when i leave but he's grown and matured alot that he doesn't need it. If your dog requires a kennel I have a giant one i can set up if need be. I will exercise your pup and give it the attention it needs.
“Alex and her team were very responsive and well educated regarding dog care, and Teddy had a great time in their home! Teddy got sick prior to the boarding but Alex and her team welcomed him and tended to his additional needs regarding medication and food changes. Thanks for caring for Teddy this weekend!”

“Laura was absolutely amazing while taking care of our cats for two weeks. From the daily updates to the adorable photos and the extra care she gave, we could tell they were all very happy and comfortable the whole time. It’s such a relief to be away and know your pets are in the best hands. Laura went above and beyond — she was reliable, caring, and clearly loves what she does. We couldn’t have asked for better care! Thank you, Laura, for treating our cats like they were your own. We’re so grateful and would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for a truly wonderful pet sitter. 🐾❤️”

“Sier was very conscientious and took great care with my senior cat. Good communication back and forth. When I came home my cat was calm and relaxed, purring and nicely groomed. I would highly recommend Sier as a sitter!!”

“Bridgit is an amazing pet sitter! We had an unexpected death in the family and had to stay away longer, Bridgit was extremely flexible and willing to help, which really took some stress off our shoulders. She's always so good with the kitties, especially for my senior girl who tends to be finicky. Bridgit always goes above and beyond, including keeping my plants alive! I will always rebook with her if she's available!”

“Genna did a great job taking care of our cats while we travelled out of town for Christmas. She gave detailed updates and sent lots of photos from each check in. She made sure our anxious cat was getting enough to eat and made sure they all got some cuddles and playtime. We will definitely hire her again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and truly love dogs and cats, they bring me so much joy! My parents have fostered dogs and cats since before I was born, so I’ve grown up helping care for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve also pet sat for friends and family for several years, handling feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets including small dogs, large dogs, puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and senior cats. I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I treat every animal like they’re my own and love building trust with each pet I care for! I'm currently a college student working part-time. I'm available weekdays from 3-10 pm. I am not available Tuesdays but am available all day on weekends! I am happy to coordinate a time that works best for your pets routine! I provide care in your pets home, so they can stay comfortable in their own space and routine. I provide walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and lots of love and attention! I enjoy getting to know each pets personality and making sure they feel happy, safe and loved while your away!
About: My husband and I have always loved dogs and had a golden retriever named Murphy, who we got in 2020. In 2024, he became paralyzed, and we cared for him for eight months before he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025. We’re both marathon runners and spend a lot of time outdoors, so dogs in our care enjoy plenty of walks or runs, as appropriate and according to your schedule. We know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby while you’re away, so you can expect lots of photo updates and love while they’re with us. We are available for boarding well as dog walking or running in the evening. Our schedule allows us to be off all summer and other holidays such as Easter week and Christmas. We both work full-time but are typically home around 3:00pm which means lots of time to play after work or go for a walk/run. We have a fenced yard and live close to the trails for walks and runs. Dogs are part of the family in our house and are welcome on the couch. We will love your dog like our own. When Murphy became injured we spent the next 8 months managing his care including bladder expression, bowel expression, and his wheelchair. If you have a special needs dog please let us know and we can discuss what this could look like for boarding at our house. Due to the higher needs of a disabled dog there would be an additional cost which we are unable to add on to our services directly on Rover but can discuss this at the booking time.
“Kylia checked on my 2 cats over the weekend, and did a great job! She's a very friendly young woman, arrived promptly at our first "meet and greet", and one of the cats (who's usually shy around strangers) took to her right away. I knew I was leaving my cats in good hands, and have no hesitation in recommending Kylia to look after your pets!”
“Ashley was so friendly and thoughtful when she came for a meet and greet, and I loved the photo/written updates on my furry friend! I was happy to have her to look after him :)”
About: I was the devoted owner of a Rottweiler who recently passed, and caring for him was a huge part of my life. I’m happy to follow routines closely and provide updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for like family. About: I don't have magic words to tell you. My dog Ruckus goes everywhere with me and I let him run around the no leash zones as much as I can here in Medicine Hat. We go to the dog park as much as we can so he is most safe. Ruckus and I also like to mingle with other friends. Staying safe, cleaning up after ourselves and just having a good time is all we are looking to do. My mother is a dog groomer so I have been actually caring for pets since I was a teenager. I understand it is the responsibility of the dog's handler at all times to keep the pet safe and out of harms way. Ruckus is my family so I take good care of him.
“Danielle has taken care of my pets multiple times. I always come home to pets that are happy, healthy and safe. She goes the extra mile to make sure the pets are comfortable and keeps me informed every step of the way. I can relax knowing they are well taken care of, even when Im out of the country or out of reach for longer stretches of time. I highly recommend her services! Thanks Danielle!”

About: I've had animals all my life, they bring so much joy into a home and I have an empty one. I have lots of free time on my hands and what better way than to fill that time with helping animals get outside more. I communicate with the owners and abide by their rules that they have in their own homes but if allowed the dogs are free to cuddle on the couch or my bed. We have a big yard for them to run around and a dog pool. I have no animals or children. I'm not ready for the full commitment not until I am done school and have a full time job where I can build a schedule for me and my fur family. I don't work right now I'm doing school at home. I am home 7 days a week all day every day. I have all this time and I would like to use it for owners because I do understand how stressful it can be knowing your busy and can't take a animal out all the time for him or her to get their exercise. I don't have crates for crate trained dogs. I have a big back yard with a pool. I can do dog walking training with out abusing your fur family. We can even go over how I do my training. All food and treats I give to the animals will be owner approved but please pack your dogs food and treats. I also have no animals in my home.

“I recently left my little Macy with Iris and Darrin. It was Macy’s first time spending the day with others. They were wonderful, Macy had fun with their dog Paco and we look forward for more sitting dates in the future.”

“Ksenya was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Emma. From the beginning, she was very professional, kind, and clearly experienced with animals. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were watching hockey. Our pup seemed happy, well cared for, and comfortable in their presence. We’ll definitely be booking with Ksenya, if we get to visit Medicine Hat, again! Love from 🇺🇸”

About: I love dogs, and consider our dog a part of the family. I have trained a couple dogs as puppies, and have enjoyed owning and raising them over the years. “My doggo was very comfortable with Kearra. We did a meet n greet first and when he went to spend part of the day with Kearra he ran in her home like he's known it his whole life. Kearra is very sweet and attentive, making sure to list carefully to my boys story. He's a rescue dog and has little quirks. I look forward to having Kearra watch my boy again in the future. It makes me feel so much calmer when someone cares about my dog as much as I do.”

“Phil and his wife were amazing! This was our first time using Rover, he walked us through the process with ease. Phil offered to meet prior to the booking so our dog Blue would be comfortable when we dropped her off. You can tell both of them are kind people who genuinely love animals. Blue loved it, she had free reign of the place, a fenced in backyard and all the attention she wanted. Phil posted pictures of her throughout the day and gave updates. It was like dropping the kids off at grandma and grandpas house. They spoiled her and loved on her all day. I would 100% recommend them and will definitely be back. Thanks so much!!”

“Sierra was very pleasant upon our first meeting and Blu, my dog, responded well to her. She was punctual for all walks and willing to adapt to the required circumstance at hand. Very informative and honest about the events of the day. Once Blu was acquainted with Sierra they ventured farther out and on different paths. I highly recommend you introduce your dog to Sierra for a dog walk.”

“Alysha did amazing with Stevie. This was my first time getting someone I didn’t know and I was a little nervous but she was really great about asking what she needed and how she was on her walk. Stevie at times can be timid towards others but she immediately wanted to jump into her arms. She sent me a photo of her on the walk also which was really nice. I’ll be having her walk Stevie again.”

About: I find dogs therapeutic to spend time with-walking, training or playing with. Dogs love us unconditionally and they deserve to be treated like family. I will treat your dog as I hope you would treat mine. Also, I’m a nurse so I love taking care of humans and their pets. I currently work part time, which gives me around 2 to 4 days off per week as I work a 12 week shift work cycle. So my days off will always vary week by week. On my days off,I have a nice large, fenced in yard. Also, a few parks and walking trails close by. I care for your pets as I would for my own. I believe they are special and very therapeutic and they deserve to be treated like family.
About: I'm a Border Collie mama with a passion for animals especially dogs! I've dealt with behavioral and aggression issues with our late Akita. I learned a lot with his breed and want to make sure no one felt the way we did whenever we had to leave him behind. I'm familiar with puppy training and working with all sized breeds. I want every fur baby to enjoy the time with their sitter so you can enjoy a stress free time away! I run my own business and am a stay at home mom currently. My schedule is fairly flexible and comfortable to add pet sitting into our daily routine. I take my girl for daily walks/jogs depending on weather. We adjust times of said walk if it's too hot or cold out. I have a fenced yard so we always make sure to get some play time in during outside times. Our girl is literally our best friend, she comes almost everywhere with us when she can and she LOVES it! There's not too often she's left home alone more than 4 hours at a time.
