About: Hi! I’m Emma — a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for pups of all breeds and personalities. I split my time between Aurora, ON area and Algonquin Highlands (Dorset, ON), and I’m available for dog walking, sitting, and boarding in both areas depending on the week. I currently live in a house (no roommates, no dogs of my own), which means your pup will have a calm, cozy environment and my full attention. I work flexible hours and love spending time outside, so whether your dog needs long walks, couch cuddles, or just a reliable companion while you’re away — I’ve got you covered. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve looked after dogs for years through friends and my family — from playful puppies to mellow seniors. I always treat every dog like my own and aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. 🐾 Flexible weekday & weekend availability 🏡 Safe, quiet, pet-free home for boarding 📍 Aurora + Algonquin Highlands coverage 🐶 Personalized 1-on-1 attention 💬 Meet & greets available! I’d love to meet your pup and learn all about their personality and routine. Feel free to message me with any questions — I’m here to help! I have a lot of flexibility to be able to care for your pet on a daily/weekly and am available for boarding (preferably in my home) on the weekends or for longer stays. Message me with any questions — I’d love to meet your pup! I have a fenced backyard at home and also a lakeside cottage. I have a crate handy if your dog feels comfortable in one. Your dog would be fed at the same times everyday to ensure a normal schedule, as well as daily walks, 2-3 times a day.

About: I think it is the connection I make with all doggies. I like to make sure they are very happy to be around me and that they have what ever they need. I adjust my actions to look after senior doggies or puppies and all in between. I am retired and my schedule is usually flexible. I am looking to meet new doggies and look after them during the week. I could be available on weekends if needed. We don’t have any pets and have a large rural property. We would discuss the needs of your dog and taylor their needs to make everyone comfortable. We can accommodate off leash and leased dogs.

“Natalia made nova feel very comfortable and happy! And I loved all the pictures she would send me of my fur baby ?”

“Michael was great! Quick to reply and helped us out in short notice. Lots of space for the dogs to play and our pup enjoyed playing with the other dogs! Thanks!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life. Currently we have Romeo my dachshund and Kramer our Irish wolfhound. We have had them both since they were puppies. I love taking care of them and bringing them to Hardy lake. We also travel all over with them and try and give them the best life possible. I’m a very fit person and love walking. Open to overnight pet care too. Please reach out with any questions. Thank you My schedule is open. I’m available 24/7 right now for dog walks, dog visits and overnight stays at your house or mine. Let me know :) I care for two dogs at home right now. Daily walks around the neighborhood and to Hardy lake. We also take care of our neighbours dog when they need someone to watch her. I love being around dogs and especially taking them for walks. I’m a very active person. Playing ball and tossing toys is great too.

About: I have extensive experience in fostering and rescue work with cats and dogs, with an expertise in large breed dogs. I only take on a positive reinforcement approach while remaining in control and can recognize signs of concerning dog behavior in order to intervene before there is an issue. I love going for hikes and walks in nature and am hoping to be to enjoy the outdoors with your pup :) I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be around for the majority of my time. We live on a secluded 1.5 acre unfenced property. Puppies and dogs must be potty trained to go outside. We have two friendly older dogs who are comfortable and respectful around new furry friends (cat, dogs and farm animals) due to their constant exposure to their furry foster friends and house sitting adventures over the years! They have no desire to be top dogs and are not interested in toys. I am happy to have your fur babies snuggle on the couch or in bed with me if they are allowed (as my two prefer their beds on the floor). I am comfortable with medication administration, special dietary needs, post-surgical care, palliative medical conditions, and physical disabilities due to my extensive experience in shelter and rescue work. I was a foster parent for many years and gained experience with special needs pets (medically and physically), behavioral concerns (separation anxiety, fearful, shy, aggression, basic obedience issues, housetraining, crate training). I also hold a certificate in pet first aid.

Wayne D.
“Wayne is fantastic with our dog Missy. He takes her everywhere he goes. Makes sure she gets exercise, plays games with her. She is young so what we are working on for training he continues while watching her. She just loves when Wayne comes or she goes to Wayne’s house.”
