I have experience with walking, playing, feeding, administering oral medications and providing regular groomings, as well as upkeep of the animals and homes. I'm excited to meet you and explore how I can care for your fur babies and home while you're away! I have a decently flexible schedule, as I am self employed. I will require a good internet connection for house sitting to be able to work remotely. I prefer house-sitting for a duration of a week, and as an outdoor enthusiast who lives in the city, I would prefer opportunities that get me out of the city and into nature! My priority when caring for your pets in your home is their safety, comfort, and happiness, all while respecting and securing your property. Before Your Departure: During our Meet & Greet, we'll thoroughly review your pets' routines, needs (food, medication, exercise), and any special instructions or anxieties. We'll also establish clear emergency protocols, including vet contacts, and discuss secure home access. I'll do a walkthrough to identify any potential hazards and ensure the environment is pet-proofed to your specifications. During the Stay: I follow all established routines as closely as possible for feeding, medication, and exercise to minimize stress for your pets. For dogs, all walks are on-leash, with safety checks and adjustments made for weather conditions. If you'd like outdoor time for your kitties, cats are always carefully watched while outside on a harness and leash. I am highly vigilant about preventing escapes, always securing doors and gates. I regularly monitor the home environment for anything unusual. I'm committed to maintaining clean litter boxes for cats and promptly cleaning any accidents from either cats or dogs, ensuring a clean and hygienic space. Your home will be treated with the utmost respect, always secured upon entry and exit.

About: I have been caring for animals for 40 plus years . I am a retired casual X-Ray Technologist, but my passion is animals. I am currently offering drop in visits in your home for both cats and dogs. My fee includes a pre- visit to review your pets needs and travel up to 15 minutes from Gimli. I have experienced it all- from raising and training an 8-week puppy, to caring for our aging pets. I have a strong personal belief that all animals are worth love and respect, and we approach each animal by listening and observing their needs first and working with their individual preferences. After adopting our first rescue dog, our dear Prince and working through his anxiety, we know the value and importance of working with each animal's personal needs.m My current household consists of caring for 1 cat, two greyhounds a pond full of Koi and 8 pigeons. I been a go-to pet sitter for friends for the last several years since I put pet needs first and love playing and walking with dogs! I have personal experience administering medicine to cats and dogs, house training a puppy, and working with a variety of behaviors including dog aggression, resource guarding, anxiety, and house accidents. I currently work casual, so I have allot of free time to visit with your pets. I am an active person and can also do dog walks Keep water and food clean and around my pets. Take dogs for a walk at least once a day. I will take care of them as my own pet . I have pets on my own that I love them so much as my own kids and the kind of love your pet will get in my house!!!!

About: I currently reside on a farm with my SO, dog; Wheeler (8), cats; Kitty (12), Billie (6), Oliver (5). The cats have seen many dogs come and go throughout the house, and Wheeler well he just loves to love! Wheeler is very accepting of every animal of every shape and size, he is the most docile dog I have ever met, you’ll love him and so will your pets (once he can stop giving them kisses). I love going with walks with dogs, and while your dog stays on our farm I will ensure they are leashed when outdoors as we do live near a highway and your animals well-being is 100% priority - I will never not be too cautious when it comes to keeping fur babies safe and happy!!!

About: I grew up surrounded by many animals and have always been passionate for raising and caring for them. I have lots of experience of handling dogs of all different breeds/sizes/ages because I often dog sit for family and friends. I still live with my family so our dogs get full attention around the clock. We all work different schedules so our dogs often get multiple walks a day which they love! We really prioritize their health and well-being so we try to walk them as much as possible. We don’t have a fenced yard but live on 7 acres of forested land and don’t live anywhere near busy roads or highways. Lots of room for dogs to roam and play if you considered doggie day care at our house. I do short shift work so if client needs me to care for dog in their own home I would definitely be able too! Love going for walks to so your dog would definitely get it’s exercise!

About: I've trained dogs in multiple disciplines from the age of 14 on, lived with them for 19 years and I have now gained 6 years additional experience in the sport of dog sledding, I have 17 dogs of my own (your animal will not be with the pack unless permissionis given) and I have handled multiple hundred dogs in my life already :) Dogs are my passion and I love and care for them to my best ability, providing them with the best nutrition, balanced stimulation (mental and physical exercise) and the natural amount of recoup and rest time as well as top notch medical care and a lot of hugs and kisses :) I work from home and I have a very flexible schedule. My current pets and I go for 2 walks a day, before and after my tasks and multiple pee breaks in between. While your dog is here, their safety and well-being is my number one priority! Unless you specifically allow me to give the dog off-leash dog park time, all dogs will be leashed outside at all times for walks. Loose inside the house. They will have access to water 24/7 and I will feed them as often as they are used to it. The animal will always be supervised and I can attend to all needs with expertise.
