Personalized care for your dog or cat - Gimli

About: I grew up caring for my own family dogs. My mom had 3 boxers but I no longer live near her, and I miss walking and caring for pups :) I also have experience dog sitting for friends and clients when I lived in the Ottawa area. I would go to their house or the dogs would stay at my place. I love walking dogs. A special skill of mine is that have abundant experience walking up to 3 medium sized dogs at a time. I am also an especially gifted pooper scooper lol I am also very comfortable with big dogs. I am a reliable, responsible, caring soul, and would care for you pup(s) as one of my own! Thank you for considering me and I appreciate and don’t take for granted that you are trusting a family member in my hands! I work from home mostly - sometimes I have to go out of town for gatherings. My work schedule is flexible so I have plenty of time to accumulate the schedule and needs of a dog I am sitting. I can easily crate dogs if needed. My cabin is pretty small so there is not much room for a dog to get into mischief lol :)

We have all grown up with animals and our children have grown up with animals. On our homestead we have 2 fenced in acres for dogs to roam, a heated shop for their evening repose, and many hands for snuggles and "softing" (our daughter's chosen word meaning petting). As a small homestead we think of our duties as our chores but rather than being a chore we enjoy every minute. Every morning every animals gets the attention they need which includes their potty time, breakfast, and reassuring snuggles. Larger dogs spend most of their day in the yard being dogs while monitored for behavioral issues (we can't have fighting!) And smaller dogs and cats can enjoy the inside spaces of the shop. Smaller dogs can be outside as much as you like as well. We go to the city on Wednesdays so we can take animals over that time but there are extra criteria we require from you in order to do so. Animals in our care will receive a lot of attention. They will exercise outside, play fetch if they like, and just generally be free to be a dog (or cat). Certain special needs can be accommodated such as meds given and managing a special diet. Fresh water is always available inside and outside even in winter. Clean beds and crates are available as needed. We hope your pet will truly enjoy their stay with us.

I have administered different types of medications and had to make modifications to allow for more mobility. I currently go to school twice a week in Winnipeg and work at a daycare in Stonewall Monday-Wednesday. I am available evenings and weekends and afternoons Thursdays and Fridays. I don’t have a fenced yard but many trees and can provide a staked leash if preferred. I can do crating if you would like for inside as well. At your home I will be cleaning up after myself and your pet and will make sure all their needs are taken care of.

About: NOTE: meet and greets required prior to booking, no day of boarding. Hi all! I have a large back yard with tons of room to run & play. I also have two dogs who love to socialize and play. My full time job requires me to be away from the house for a few hours a day but my boyfriend is home by 3pm daily (who is also rover certified) so they’re never left alone long! I have a lot of experience watching dogs, I’ve watched for friends and family of a variety of sizes and breeds. I’m experienced with giving oral medications and insulin. I also have 10 months of experience working at a dog daycare. My dogs are open to playing with dogs of any age or size even small dogs! We’re very dog friendly at our house our dogs are spoiled and have range to lay on the couches with us, look out the window from our bed and have tons of pillows laying around as well! We have tons of treats, toys, a big refillable water bowl & even a pool for the summer time heat! Come give us a visit and leave feeling at ease while you’re away!

About: Hi there I’m 28 and I love animals specially dogs I will watch them and treat them like my own. They will be safe and secure with me. Most animals fall in love with me. I have experience watching and taking care of pets as I have all my life. Love playing with them walking them and spoiling them with treats. About: I have three cats. One is a senior (11 years old) and two sisters (5 years old). I have lots of experience caring for cats. Whether it comes to feeding, giving medication, changing the litter box and water bowl, make sure they are comfortable and have all their toys with them.

About: I have been caring for animals for 40 plus years . I am a retired casual X-Ray Technologist, but my passion is animals. I am currently offering drop in visits in your home for both cats and dogs. My fee includes a pre- visit to review your pets needs and travel up to 15 minutes from Gimli. I have experienced it all- from raising and training an 8-week puppy, to caring for our aging pets. I have a strong personal belief that all animals are worth love and respect, and we approach each animal by listening and observing their needs first and working with their individual preferences. After adopting our first rescue dog, our dear Prince and working through his anxiety, we know the value and importance of working with each animal's personal needs.m My current household consists of caring for 1 cat, two greyhounds a pond full of Koi and 8 pigeons.
