“Jills care for our 13 year old diabetic cat was amazing. I reached out to her last min due to her previous 5 star ratings. Although Jill was booked, she made a special room for our old boy. She provided him an entire room with 2 litter boxes, a double bed and even a flower on the table. He was in a 5 star resort. She created a box for him surrounded by pillows and blankets for him to hide during the storms. She made a ramp for his easy access on and off the bed. Her communication was immediate and so professional. Jill provided us pictures of our old boy a number of times a day along with updates on his eating and insulin injections-that she was excellent at administering. He was cuddled, petted, taken care of and very happy. I would highly recommend Jill for anyone who wants their beloved pet to be in the very best care. We have already booked her again for his next stay. Words cannot say how impressed we are with Jill!”

“We were going to be out of town for ten days, and Jason agreed to take care of our cats. One of our cats is an orange boy who is extremely social, and our other calico is usually quite shy. Jason brought out the best in our cats while we were away. Our orange knew when he was coming and would wait by the door for him, and our calico didn’t run from him as if he was a vacuum cleaner. Every visit was accompanied by pictures of each cat (unless our calico was snoozing in our boxspring) and everything went off without a hitch! We never once felt concerned that our cats weren’t getting the attention they needed, and the pictures every visit helped with how much we missed them while we were away. All instructions were closely followed, and communication was consistent and concise. We will be re-booking with Jason for future cat-sitting needs!”

About: Hi! My name is Alina. I am a full time student at the University of Alberta. I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher! I love all animals, especially dogs! I have a dog of my own, so I am quite familiar with a walking schedule, feeding, bathing and overall caring for a dog. I have also been walking and pet-sitting neighbours’, friends’ and family’s dogs for quite some time now (in both the summer and the winter months). About: Cats might be my favourite type of pet, I’ve been close with them for my whole life and most of my pet care experience is with cats. However, I’m expecting baby #2 leaving me unable to handle the litter box, although I will consider accepting this task should safe practices be available such as proper sanitization products and dust mask protection. About: Pets have been a huge part of the family since before I was born. As the oldest cousin, I've been the designated pet/babysitter since I was 10! About: My family has always had several pets since my early childhood whose care was primarily the responsibility of my siblings and I, mostly cats and a golden retriever puppy who’s now 11. About: Although I have only recently joined Rover, I have been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and seniors! About: I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available to you and your pet on short notice. Not only is my schedule accommodating, so is my home and my pet education. Over the past 14ys, I have been closely involved with many different animal orientated facilities. My personal pup was certified with The Chimo Project which is now called CAAWLS. This organization recruits and certifies wellness animals for Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) services. Involvement with this company was both rewarding for my pup and myself. I also volunteer my time with Dogs With Wings (DWW). A non-profit organization that does amazing things. DWW is changing lives for the better by training dogs to be guide dogs, service dogs, autism dogs and more. Rest assured, your pet will be well loved and in good care during their stay with me.
About: I’ve had my best friend, Ash, since I was 10. Almost 12, he’s as lively as ever! I had also adopted Dart last year, a 10 year old pointer with anxiety - I have had the privilege of watching him grow and bloom into his instincts and training! I’ve also worked professionally with dogs for over two years and specifically would be tasked to handle dogs with special needs, whether that be behavioural or medical. I can connect with dogs and read them incredibly easy. I’m very patient as well and have no fear when dealing with less trusting or “feistier” dogs. I also understand how busy life can get, especially when unexpected hurdles come your way. I am especially offering services for pet parents who are looking for super last minute help. I’m more than happy to share a more specific version of my availability if you think you’ll need last minute care in the near future. “Jills care for our 13 year old diabetic cat was amazing. I reached out to her last min due to her previous 5 star ratings. Although Jill was booked, she made a special room for our old boy. She provided him an entire room with 2 litter boxes, a double bed and even a flower on the table. He was in a 5 star resort. She created a box for him surrounded by pillows and blankets for him to hide during the storms. She made a ramp for his easy access on and off the bed. Her communication was immediate and so professional. Jill provided us pictures of our old boy a number of times a day along with updates on his eating and insulin injections-that she was excellent at administering. He was cuddled, petted, taken care of and very happy. I would highly recommend Jill for anyone who wants their beloved pet to be in the very best care. We have already booked her again for his next stay. Words cannot say how impressed we are with Jill!”
