About: Hi! My name is Alina. I am a full time student at the University of Alberta. I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher! I love all animals, especially dogs! I have a dog of my own, so I am quite familiar with a walking schedule, feeding, bathing and overall caring for a dog. I have also been walking and pet-sitting neighbours’, friends’ and family’s dogs for quite some time now (in both the summer and the winter months). About: Cats might be my favourite type of pet, I’ve been close with them for my whole life and most of my pet care experience is with cats. About: Pets have been a huge part of the family since before I was born. As the oldest cousin, I've been the designated pet/babysitter since I was 10! Most recently, I've been raising a rescue named Pretzel. She's a high energy, two month old puppy! I've been training her to ring a bell when she needs to go outside, and she has picked it up so quick! As an actor, I work part time and attend rehearsals. I can always accomodate specific walk/meal times, and I'm free to spend nights anywhere needed in the city. I always carry treats with me to make sure your little one feels safe. “We were going to be out of town for ten days, and Jason agreed to take care of our cats. One of our cats is an orange boy who is extremely social, and our other calico is usually quite shy. Jason brought out the best in our cats while we were away. Our orange knew when he was coming and would wait by the door for him, and our calico didn’t run from him as if he was a vacuum cleaner. Every visit was accompanied by pictures of each cat (unless our calico was snoozing in our boxspring) and everything went off without a hitch! We never once felt concerned that our cats weren’t getting the attention they needed, and the pictures every visit helped with how much we missed them while we were away. All instructions were closely followed, and communication was consistent and concise. We will be re-booking with Jason for future cat-sitting needs!”

About: Hello! I’m Brittany. I’m a health care aide by day and avid animal lover all the time! I have been around animals since I was a young girl, from cats to dogs, even bunnies you name it! We’ve had family dogs for more than 13+ years, a little Pekingese and a Pekingese/Pom. I love to take the dogs for sleepovers, sometimes a week or two at a time, and I have watched them many of times for my parents while they are away. About: I have two dogs, Benny and Leo. Both of them are dog social and friendly. They are both certified wellness dogs and compete in barn hunt trials. Benny knows over 100 tricks (and still learning!) and Leo is also competing in rally obedience trials. We are constantly working towards furthering our training. I use force free and positive reinforcement for training methods. Our days rotate through training, play and rest! I promise a 1:1 training session (topic of choice) and a 30 minute solo walk per day and many many photo updates! I have a fully fenced yard and I take my boys to a private dog park twice a week to run like maniacs. Your dog would be included in all our activities and regular routine! I do require dogs to be crate trained for their stay - both my dogs take an afternoon nap and this allows for me to do the solo walks with each dog. I do expect dogs to be dog social or dog neutral. Safety for all the dogs in my care is my top priority. Our instagram is bennyplusleo if you wanted to see more of how I train and what our days normally look like! I offer day training and boarding from my home. My schedule is made around the needs of the dogs in my care! Dogs will not be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time at maximum. Typically we will start the day with some play and then move to 1:1 training sessions for breakfast. Dogs are free to roam my house and can decide to play or lounge. We do a mid day nap for everyone where I will take turns walking the dogs individually. Once all the dog walks are complete the dogs are welcome to free roam the house again to play or relax. I will also use this time to do additional afternoon training sessions! • I try to dog proof my home as much as possible. I have rugs across my main floor to avoid slips. There is nothing out or close to counter edges that your dog can get into. • Dogs are always supervised during playtime, in my backyard or in the basement. I also have motion sensored lights for our potty patch for night time potty. My side yards have additional pens to help prevent dogs from potentially escaping the gates. • All meals are given to each dog separately to ensure that no resource guarding occurs. I have a variety of pens, gates and crates to keep everyone separate when they are being fed.

About: My family has always had several pets since my early childhood whose care was primarily the responsibility of my siblings and I, mostly cats and a golden retriever puppy who’s now 11. I’ve cared for neighbour’s pets since the age of 13 and am now accustomed to several different breeds/sizes of dogs, cats, fish, horses, ducks, and snakes! I’m currently a stay-at-home-mom to my very friendly and energetic 10 month old son, which leaves me with significant time and freedom to keep your pets happy and healthy! I have no restrictions on my availability so you can be assured your furry family members will be thoroughly cared for! While I unfortunately can’t take pets to my own home, the bright side is that your pets should be nice and comfortable in their familiar space! My son will most often accompany me, but no need to worry if your pets are not child friendly, I’ll always bring a standard play pen to help keep everybody’s babies safe. He is also very familiar with pets and knows how to be gentle with our furry friends!

I have lots of free time in between studying for exams and my personal life. I care for my pets with lots of love and treat others animals as if they were my own. I love all animals big or small. While working at the vet clinic I ensured that I was tailoring to each animals individual needs and making them feel as comfortable as I could while receiving treatments. I also spoil my animals probably more than I should and love giving animals lots of kisses and cuddles.
About: I grew up with animals since a young age, my family always had dogs and every summer I’d spend months out at my godmother’s farm helping take care of all kinds of animals including a barn full of cats. Professionally I was employed as a groomer/doggy daycare attendant so im well versed in handling animals of all sizes and temperaments! Currently between jobs just trying to make ends meet in a way that brings joy and allows others to know their babies are safe at home while they’re out living life. I’m recently unemployed so I’ve got nothing but time on my hands! I enjoy going for daily walks on my own so I would have no problem having a pet join me on my day. Following whatever guidelines they have set up for their pets! I will hang out with them and take good care of them no matter where we are!
