About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats! At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

About: While I don't currently have a dog, my ex-wife and I had a wonderful Goldendoodle together. We got her therapy trained, which says a lot about us and of the dog we had. It was a great experience, and this dog single handedly converted me to a dog lover. I currently work from home and am living alone, so I have some flexibility on the weekends. If I continue to do this, I will look at opening time during the week since I also hvae some flexibility in my current position. I don't have a fenced in yard, but our apartment complex has a small dog-park, and another official dog park within 2 miles. I also understand the importance of a dog needing to be outside for walks for not only exercise, but for mental stimulation as well. I also love taking dogs on a card ride.
