About: I have experience working with all kinds of dogs: big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, sick dogs, and dogs with behavioral issues. I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, and fish. I’m detail oriented, patient, and am always aware of my surroundings to ensure both my and your pets safety. I have experience with dogs that need special attention or extra care including those with behavioral issues like anxiety, fear, or reactivity. I have 3 Australian shepherds that keep me on my toes and 3 cats! I routinely take the dogs for a walk or hike while the cats nap around the house. Right now, I am available most days and times to check in on a pet or take them for a walk. Almost anyone with an Australian shepherd will tell you that they can be quite particular and high energy—I know that mine are! I’ve taken several classes to learn about safety during walks, how to recognize cues before a reactive incident, and how to control a dog if they get out of control. I will always check in with you before taking your pet somewhere and be sure to follow any directions you give me.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

Experience with dog training, emergency situations and have vet experience! I currently work at feeders supply and we do boarding/daycare there. So when your kiddos are with me they can come to work with me as well so they are never alone! It is an additional price for them to come to work with me! That is an extra service i provide! About: Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with 6+ years of experience in the animal care industry. I have worked in animal shelters & boarding facilities, and I love dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have lots of experience with shy/nervous dogs, as well as experience training basic manners and working through leash reactivity and anxiety all through positive reinforcement. In between working part-time and taking my own dog on adventures, I have plenty of time to build a relationship with your pet. I am available Sunday - Tuesday before 12pm, & Wednesday - Saturday anytime. I have a golden retriever who loves other dogs and would love to become walking buddies with yours! Although my dog goes most places with me, it is absolutely no problem to leave her at home if your dog prefers to be alone.

About: My journey with animals started early. I got my very own puppy when I was 12 years old and took her through all the training classes, determined to be the best little dog owner I could be. Since then, my love and care for animals has only grown stronger. In my adult life, I've raised two amazing pups. My sweet boy Ozzie, a shih tzu/bichon frisé mix, crossed the rainbow bridge in late 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. Now I share life with my little guy Tobie — a toy poodle/mini schnauzer mix who's been with me since he was just 20 weeks old. He's now 7, full of personality, and spoiled with love (as it should be!). Outside of pet care, I’m a wife, a mom to a fun-loving toddler, and I work a full-time job during weekday hours (roughly 9–5). That said, I still have a flexible schedule and am more than happy to carve out time for your furry friends. Whether you need a reliable dog walker, a drop-in buddy, or a caring house sitter, I’ve got you covered. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets — someone who will care for them like you do. When your pets are with me, they’re treated like family, because that’s exactly what they are. While I currently don’t offer pet sitting in my home until I’ve built a relationship with your pet, I’m more than happy to care for them in their own familiar space. About: Never had my childhood home had less than 5 animals. I've grown up taking care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, bunnies, and turtles-most of those under solely my care. I've always loved caring for my animals and watching them grow. I'm currently not working outside of the home. I am a stay at home mom so I will be available for your animals full time! We have a 3200 sq ft 2 level home with a large unfenced yard. I have one friendly 8 year old female labradoodle, one very sweet, friendly, and energetic 1 year old newfoundland mix, and another very nonchalant 5 year old male cat. I also have a 8 year old son and a 2 year old son who both love and respect animals. Our home is a very comfortable space for any kid friendly animal to enjoy. We feed 2x a day, let them out to potty at least 4x a day-I will leash if necessary.

About: *** Please feel free to message me if you are concerned about rates or would like to set up a different form of payment *** There has never been a moment in my life where I didn’t have animals. We have had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and I have loved all of them equally. I have been helping to take care of my grandpa’s coonhounds since I could walk. Throughout my life, I have been able to work with these strong, high energy dogs. I have experience with walking them, as well as teaching them how to walk on the leash with minimal pulling. We have also raised MANY litters of puppies, so I have experience with puppy care as well. I have had the responsibility of giving puppies their parvo/puppy shots to ensure they don’t become ill when weaning from their mother. I have also had my own dog, Sally, for about 10 years now. She is a French bulldog, and she does need a little extra care sometimes. She has some skin irritations, so she has a special food that has helped. She also has a gentle shampoo that she is bathed with that will not cause her to itch afterwards. I also keep her face and wrinkles clean to keep any irritation at bay. I am a student at Morehead State University, where I am part of an organization called 4Paws for Ability. We work with service dogs in training where we socialize them in public. These dogs learn to not be afraid of new things, and to feel comfortable and confident in a public setting no matter where they go. I have been a part of this group for two years, and for a year and a half of this time, I have been able to dog sit many of these dogs countless amounts of time. I had the opportunity to work with and be responsible for one of these dogs named Gingko. I was responsible for his care, and a lot a lot of his basic commands. My main goal was to socialize him in public, which included things like meeting new people/children, being able to walk by dogs without a reaction, going shopping at Walmart, hearing new sounds, or even just a walk through a park. In the summer of 2022, I volunteered at the Owen County Animal Clinic where I had the opportunity to work with all sorts of dogs and cats. Often times, I would comfort and hold animals still for any injections, nail trimmings, or basic inspection that needed to be done. I enjoyed my time there, and I especially enjoyed giving love and comforting many of the scared and stressed animals. I currently have a part time job and will be working on some Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as Saturdays and Sunday mornings. I won’t be working all day, so will still have availability on those days, but not a full day. Otherwise, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are open all day! I do help my grandfather exercise his hound dogs on occasion, but nothing that interferes with creating a schedule. I have a pretty big yard so my dog gets to run around as she pleases. She isn’t kept on a collar or leash as she is very well trained to stay in the yard, but she doesn’t like to be alone anyway so she stays near me. But I do understand that not all dogs are like this and may need a very watchful eye. When my grandpa raises a litter of coonhound puppies, they need to be watched during outside times so they don’t wonder off into the woods or close to the road.
