I'm comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and sizes, and I prioritize a safe, nurturing environment. I've also volunteered at animal shelters and helped neighbors with pet care while they were away. Growing up in a large household with pets taught me the importance of responsibility and companionship. I'm flexible with rates based on care needs and time commitments. I’m very adaptable based on care needs and am happy to be flexible for each family. My focus is always on keeping your pet happy, safe, and comfortable. I follow their routine, give plenty of attention, and make sure they’re getting whatever care or exercise they may need.

About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. Although I do not offer boarding, I will make absolutely certain your animals stay safe in my care!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have experience with lots of different animals. I have dogs of my own and I also have a farm. I have 10+ years of experience. I work part time and would have lots of time to care for your babies. My dog and I have a daily routine and would love to add your pet into our day. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I would make sure to ask boundaries about your home and pet, to meet the pets needs to your expectations.

About: I grew up in Wyoming where I was a member of 4-H for ten years. I raised pigs and rabbits for show and also grew up with two cats and a corgi at home. I have experience giving medication to each of these animals and even some experience giving injections. My husband, Orlando, and I love animals and work most of our Rover appointments together. At home we have two cats and a hedgehog! I’m pretty flexible and almost always have time in the mornings and in the evenings after 4 to stop by and check on/walk/play with pets. I am happy to housesit during the week or on weekends. While housesitting I am happy to make time for daily walks and try to be attentive to when your pet needs to go out. I’m very flexible and try to leave every home as I found it or better! If your pet has toys I will always engage in play time and try to keep them happy and entertained.

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, and birds. I have been pet sitting for the same family for the last 5 years since their jobs and family require them to leave often, but they want to make sure their animals never feel neglected by this. I have administered medication for older cats and dogs, fed and rode horses, learned how to intervene safely in the event of a dog altercation, and love just being around pets of all types and sizes. Hello! I am currently a farmer turned student, recently back in college after a few years as an organic vegetable farmer. Now I’m balancing the demands of finishing my degree in evolutionary biology with my love of animals, plants, yoga, and simply being in awe of nature. Petsitting allows me a flexible job while I’m in school and gives me a chance to connect with the community in another way. About: Dogs are my biggest passion! I used to be a shift leader at a doggie day care in Florida. I have experience working with hundreds of dogs of all sizes. My days there included paying close attention to detail and learning the characteristics of each dog. I worked with dogs of all ages puppies to seniors. I was in charge of watching and caring for big groups of dogs. Feeding all the dogs lunch and of course lots of playtimes! I am new to rover and have lots of open availability for your pups! I occasionally travel to Mooresville for a pet sitting/house sitting gig. Other than that I am in Boone full time. I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every pet I care for.
