About: Throughout my life, I have cared for everything from parakeets to horses. As a kid, my family bred, raised, and trained hunting dogs. Later in life I found fulfillment in volunteering at animal shelters working with aggressive and fearful dogs. I also spend my time caring for my horse and farm sitting for others as well. Tending to animals is a lifelong passion of mine, and I pride myself on providing excellent care. I work a full time job from home, so my schedule is very flexible. For walks, I am primarily available in the mornings before work and evenings. I have a large fenced in yard for pups to run and play at my home. The yard has plenty of shade as well for these hot summer days. Indoors, your fur baby will always be monitored closely by myself (and my two cats, lol!). If I am ever required to leave the home where your pet cannot join me, they will be crated or at least separated from the other pets in the home where they can relax.

About: In my lifetime I have been surrounded by animals since birth. Chickens, cows, goats, horses, dogs, cats, and sheep. I’ve always had a strong love for animals. I’ve worked in a vet clinic helping my mom as a vet tech. I have done grooming, daycare, and I’ve dabbled in dog training as well. Over my time dog sitting, I have taken care of puppies and senior care dogs. I currently work for a lady dog sitting. I don’t get a whole lot of jobs. So I have a lot of free time for other dog sitting jobs. I take my dogs to the dog park as often as I can! They mostly get to go on the weekends. About: I have taken care of many different animals of all ages, sizes, and breeds for over 12 years. Over the years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, chickens, and ducks. I adore all animals and love taking care of them in the comfort of their own homes. I am happy to administer medications, give the animals as much exercise as they need, and follow their feeding and sleep schedules. I work from home, so I am around to provide love, care, play, exercise, and potty breaks throughout the day when needed. I have many consistent breaks from work throughout the day to hang out with the animals! I am very flexible in my care of pets and will adhere to your specific routines and needs for your pet(s). I am very affectionate toward animals especially if that is what they need to thrive in their environment while their parents are away! I also understand if certain animals require a more hands-off approach and like to just do their own thing while I am around. About: My best friend as young kid was my dog. Matilda the Australian Shepard was by my side since the age of three as my partner in crime running around our house or yard and growing up my brother and I were always given the responsibility of our pet's care. That ran the gamut as we had a menagerie that required all sorts of different needs from checking the hermit crab's shell, taking our dog to 4-H obedience classes, feeding our parakeets, taking turns monitoring new born pups, and of course all the clean up that comes with having a pet. About: Hi there! My name is Amy, and I started Rover to provide pet care to others, as I would like for mine. I've grown up with animals, and love being a dog owner of 2 labs. My full-time profession is being a School Psychologist, but during the summer I decided to find ways to work with animals more. I believe in positive-based behavioral training, which has worked with training our own puppy this past year. I’m patient, kind, and passionate about treating your animal how I’d want mine to be treated and loved. My husband is a mental health counselor and sometimes will be around if your animal is cared for in my home. He also has the same approaches and beliefs as myself towards our pets. Since I have my summers off, my schedule is very flexible. I have a few river rafting trips and backpacking trips planned, so if I don't respond within the 24 time frame, I'm likely out of service but will get back to you when I'm able to. I also love to take the dogs on my own outside adventures, such as walking or swimming in Flathead lake or in the river. If your dog is being watched at our house, we have a fenced in a yard, but one side of the fencing is only 3 ft. high, so clear communication if your dog likes to escape fencing is appreciated. Your animals are welcome on our furniture and throughout the house. Our 2 labs are both friendly, however, the male (Shreddy- loves to shred sticks) is not fixed and is "overly" friendly if you have a female that is in heat. Most of the time, he's very excited to say hi and plays for 15 minutes, and then will take a nap and do his own thing. Camper, is our 2-year old female lab, and loves to play with any dog for long periods of time if you have a pup that has lots of energy! I believe in communication, consistency, and positive reinforcement for animals. I always will make sure they feel safe, and stay consistent with your training styles and rules. I’m also a very active and engaged person, so I’ll always be loving and attentive towards your pet.
