I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule can be limited, but I will only take listings that I am fully able to do; so you will never have to worry that your pet will get full accommodation I am a full-time school counseling student at Appalachian State University. About: I’ve lived on a farm for most of my life, I’ve had many years of experience taking care of all sorts of animals as well as any types of administrative medicine and training! Pet care is always a joy to me, as a college student I try I balance life and school the same. Although I focus on my dreams in the near future I always go back to my roots with growing up with animals it’s my passion. My own animals at home which range from a variety of large farm animals and regular domesticated animals, I have a deep respect for animals and how they feel living in their environment. I believe all animals deserve the same treatment and respect, whether that be regular feeding and walking or even just playing with toys, I love making them feel special and comfortable.

About: I’ve grown up with childhood dogs of all kinds from tiny chihuahuas and mini labradoodles to big breeds like Saint Bernards. I’ve learned that every dog is different, and their care really depends on their breed, personality, and routine. I’ve helped care for my siblings’ pets, looked after cats and dogs for neighbors, and I’m confident handling different energy levels, sizes, and needs. I’m also a runner, so I love taking active dogs on longer walks, but I’m just as happy keeping older or more anxious pets company and making sure they feel safe and calm. I’m currently working two on-campus jobs this summer, but I still have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m usually available for dog walks or check ins in the mornings, late afternoons, or early evenings, depending on the day. I’m great at keeping a routine and following instructions closely, and I’ll always make sure your pet is cared for on time. I live in a quiet campus dorm that’s clean, calm, and pet-safe. There’s nothing harmful lying around, and I’m happy to let pets on the bed or bring in a dog bed if needed. It’s a simple space, but I make sure it’s comfortable and welcoming. I’ll take your pet out for regular walks and give them plenty of attention while they’re here.

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: I have been taking care of and owning dogs since I was a child. My family recently adopted a puppy who I helped with training and taking care of. My roommate and I recently adopted a cat as well and I still help people with dog sitting where I can. I work part-time and go to school full-time so I am available on the weekends if I am made aware in advance and I can do weekdays after 2 pm. At home I don't have a fenced yard so I am accustomed to taking dogs on many walks and also crating dogs when leaving. I am prepared to follow any instructions a client will leave for me about how they prefer me to care for their pets.

About: Hi I’m McKenna! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and absolutely adore furry friends. I’d love to provided cuddles & care to your pet. I’m currently a enrolled at App State and looking for a way to make some pocket change. My hometown is Waynesville, NC and i’m always up to visit. I will be in single apartment at the Finmore in Boone next fall which will open more opportunities for me to pet sit. There are beautiful trails here in Boone and surrounding Waynesville. What’s a better way to get some exercise than with a furry friend. Dogs will be leashed at all times when taken on walks and will be in a safe environment away from any high traffic areas. I also know those post cat nap zoomies can get a little crazy, so i’d love to spend time with your kitty and THEIR favorite toys haha.

About: Along with cats and dogs I have cared for multiple reptiles such as pythons and geckos, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also in college. I’m free any time during weekends, as well as after 3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mondays 1pm-4pm and Wednesdays after 3pm. I will follow instructions given and always ask the client first before an action if unsure. Your pet will be given the best care and my utmost attention.
