About: I have spent time working in doggy daycare’s, and have plenty of experience, raising my own dog, link. Whatever you think your animal needs, they will get that from me because you know your animal best. Although I love working with kids, pets will always hold a special place in my heart. Your animal would get the same Care that any student of mine would get.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! From the meet & greet before the overnight stay, we could tell that Colin was an animal lover & very experienced in caring for pets. While away, Colin went above & beyond in making sure Memphis & Knox were extra loved on and cared for, and even sent daily updates with photos/videos. We don’t trust just anyone to care for our pets, and without hesitation would recommend Colin to anyone looking for pet care!”

“Taylor did a wonderful job caring for our 4 month old puppy! She was very responsive and kind, and she was understanding when traffic held us up from getting home on time. Would absolutely have her care for our sweet boy again!”

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I am currently in summer break from my university and I have a rather flexible schedule! My hours available may change depending on the week, but I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! Once my school semester begins, I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 5 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

“Heather exceeded all of our pet-sitting expectations! My husband and I went on a week long vacation and needed a wonderful person to care for our 2dogs, 2 cats and a garden full of flowers. “She is totally awesome with my 2 German Shepherds. She came over for a few hours and paid good attention for them. She really knows how to take care of these 2.”

About: I’ve grown up with childhood dogs of all kinds from tiny chihuahuas and mini labradoodles to big breeds like Saint Bernards. I’ve learned that every dog is different, and their care really depends on their breed, personality, and routine. I’ve helped care for my siblings’ pets, looked after cats and dogs for neighbors, and I’m confident handling different energy levels, sizes, and needs. I’m also a runner, so I love taking active dogs on longer walks, but I’m just as happy keeping older or more anxious pets company and making sure they feel safe and calm. I’m currently working two on-campus jobs this summer, but I still have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m usually available for dog walks or check ins in the mornings, late afternoons, or early evenings, depending on the day. I’m great at keeping a routine and following instructions closely, and I’ll always make sure your pet is cared for on time. I live in a quiet campus dorm that’s clean, calm, and pet-safe. There’s nothing harmful lying around, and I’m happy to let pets on the bed or bring in a dog bed if needed. It’s a simple space, but I make sure it’s comfortable and welcoming. I’ll take your pet out for regular walks and give them plenty of attention while they’re here.

“Jimena is fantastic!!! She has an excellent facility for your pup while you travel. Hazel had a GREAT time with her new friends. She will be staying there again.”

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have been taking care of and owning dogs since I was a child. My family recently adopted a puppy who I helped with training and taking care of. My roommate and I recently adopted a cat as well and I still help people with dog sitting where I can. I work part-time and go to school full-time so I am available on the weekends if I am made aware in advance and I can do weekdays after 2 pm. At home I don't have a fenced yard so I am accustomed to taking dogs on many walks and also crating dogs when leaving. I am prepared to follow any instructions a client will leave for me about how they prefer me to care for their pets.

About: Hi I’m McKenna! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and absolutely adore furry friends. I’d love to provided cuddles & care to your pet. I’m currently a enrolled at App State and looking for a way to make some pocket change. My hometown is Waynesville, NC and i’m always up to visit. I will be in single apartment at the Finmore in Boone next fall which will open more opportunities for me to pet sit. There are beautiful trails here in Boone and surrounding Waynesville. What’s a better way to get some exercise than with a furry friend. Dogs will be leashed at all times when taken on walks and will be in a safe environment away from any high traffic areas. I also know those post cat nap zoomies can get a little crazy, so i’d love to spend time with your kitty and THEIR favorite toys haha.

About: Along with cats and dogs I have cared for multiple reptiles such as pythons and geckos, rabbits, hamsters and ferrets. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also in college. I’m free any time during weekends, as well as after 3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mondays 1pm-4pm and Wednesdays after 3pm. I will follow instructions given and always ask the client first before an action if unsure. Your pet will be given the best care and my utmost attention.
