About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. About: Growing up I have been surrounded by pets and responsibilities surrounding their care. From a young age, I have looked after my own animals as well as the dogs in my neighborhood. In my teens I worked part-time at a doggy day care where I gained valuable skills in animal handling and behavior. I worked with dogs big and small, social and reactive. My background has provided me with the knowledge to work with all kinds of dogs. I am certified in pet CPR and have a pup of my own! I’m currently working in a research lab over the summer which takes up about 6 hours of my week. Luckily, my lab work is flexible so I can work around your schedule to help accommodate your pups needs! I am an outdoorsy person who love to go on walks, especially if I have a furry friend accompanying me. I can go any distance to fit your dogs needs. I am experienced with leash pullers as well as reactive dogs. Because I am certified in pet first aid and worked in a high paced doggy daycare, I know how to react fast. I am able to treat wounds and read dog behavior very well. Your dogs safety is my top priority.

I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have taken care of all types animals since I was 14, but really picked up once I could drive. I have people that still want to know when I go back to my home town so they can revolve their vacations around me being able to watch their pets! I work from home, and set my own meeting times, so I can make my schedule work for almost any time of day or night! About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I am currently in summer break from my university and I have a rather flexible schedule! My hours available may change depending on the week, but I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! Once my school semester begins, I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 5 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

I have graduated from college, and I have open availability to spend time with your pet and make them feel at home while you enjoy your vacation! About: I grew up in Wyoming where I was a member of 4-H for ten years. I raised pigs and rabbits for show and also grew up with two cats and a corgi at home. I have experience giving medication to each of these animals and even some experience giving injections. My husband, Orlando, and I love animals and work most of our Rover appointments together. At home we have two cats and a hedgehog! I’m pretty flexible and almost always have time in the mornings and in the evenings after 4 to stop by and check on/walk/play with pets. I am happy to housesit during the week or on weekends. While housesitting I am happy to make time for daily walks and try to be attentive to when your pet needs to go out. I’m very flexible and try to leave every home as I found it or better! If your pet has toys I will always engage in play time and try to keep them happy and entertained.

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 are rescues and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I’ve also taken care of friends and family’s pets while out of town and used to dog groom with a friend of mine. I currently work a full time job in Boone, Nc. I would love to be able to take care of your fur babies full time instead! Three of my dogs are crated while i’m not home but after Im home they get to run around inside and they are walked before i leave, and while Im home. Once Im doing this full time they will not be crated as much. I do not have a fenced in yard so they are walked instead as much as possible! But could also put up a temporary fence if needed!
