“Alexa and Alex were amazing! Great communicators and were very accommodating. They were flexible with pickup/drop off times, they helped a bit with crate training and separation training. They even offered to meet in person first to make sure Mabel was comfortable with them and Shay. But most importantly, Alexa and Alex were so sweet to Mabel and I could see by photos that Mabel was very happy being with them, in their home. Mabel and Shay were such best friends and were always so excited to see each other! I will always go to Alexa and Alex (and Shay) first for any babysitter needs in the future! 10/10!!!”

“Thank you, Vijaya, for your warm welcome and excellent care of Minnie. She enjoyed her long walk and the toy basket, and had a good day despite still wearing her Elizabethan collar. We knew she was in good hands right away, and look forward to having her stay with you again.”

About: Hi there! I'm Gina, and I absolutely adore dogs. I've been a dog owner my whole life and currently have three adorable furry companions at home. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets alone for long periods or to find reliable care for them when you're away. That's why I'm here to offer a loving and responsible solution. As a lifelong North Rockland resident, I provide dog walking, daycare, and overnight services for local dogs. Whether you need someone to check in on your pup during the day, take them for a walk, or care for them while you're away, you can trust me to treat them as if they were my own. I understand the importance of giving pets the attention and love they deserve, and I'm dedicated to providing the best care possible. Get in touch with me to discuss your dog care needs! I am home all day and available to keep dogs company, reassure them and give them love. This is a choice! I have a very soft spot in my heart for dogs and just want them to be happy. I have a fully fenced in yard with loads of room to run around and play. I also have 3 dogs of my own, one of which is a terrific playmate. If your dog does not like to play, I also have a secluded area where they can relax and watch tv comfortably and alone.

About: I am a animal lover who works from home. I have done pet sitting and animal rescue for the past 17 years, I have been a foster home for countless dogs and cats of all ages and breeds throughout the years. I have experience with special needs pets requiring medication and specialized care. I have a small fenced in yard, since I work from home your pet will never be left unattended. My goal is for your pet to feel like they are in a second home when with me. I work from home so your pets will have me with them all day. If I do need to run errands during the day I am never gone for longer then an hour at a time. I have a small fenced in yard where dogs can be off leash and of course I am able to proved leashed walk as well. I do have 2 very friendly small bred dogs of my own.

About: I’ve been so lucky to have had multiple dogs to care for over the years, caring for them from the puppy stage through their senior years. I met my husband a few years ago because of the dogs I’d rescued as he is a veterinary doctor with over a decade of experience. Together, we have rehabilitated multiple dogs and found good homes for them. We are animal lovers and have our own fur baby, but there is always plenty of love to go around for these angels on earth. 🩷 I am home everyday and available to provide quality care for your fur babies. I have an 8-year old terrier who is very friendly and loves dog friends. I walk him everyday for at least 30 minutes in the park behind our house, and I would be happy to walk your dog with him. Walking is a great physical and mental workout for dogs! However, I understand that each dog has its own lifestyle and I am happy to cater to it in accordance with your instructions. My backyard is not fenced in, but my parents’ house is 4 minutes away and I use their big fenced-in yard to let my dog run freely and play fetch, as well as to play with his pup friends. If you authorize it, I could use the space for your pup too, otherwise, on-leash walks in the park are great!

“This is the 8th time Skye stays with Brenda. Skye is always happy when she realiizes she is going to Brenda’s house, and comes home happy as well, and today also bathed. Brenda is always quick to answer and sweet. It is great to be able to count on her help when we need. Thanks again, Brenda”

“First time using Rover, but have used other dogsitters before. Staci was very welcoming, kind, and confident in watching our elderly dachshund and all his little quirks. You can tell she has had plenty of experience, and I left for the day knowing our little nugget was in good hands. I look forward to the next time.”

“Barbara was just great for Maddie. She made sure Maddie got plenty of relief breaks, especially on the very miserable days of rain, and Barbara’s home at the end of a no exit street meant Maddie was always safe. Rainy days were spent curled up on the sofa, and there were treats too. There were walks in the forest and by the river, which Maddie loves. Maddie clearly enjoyed her 3 days, enabling us to sight see in NYC without worry. Generously, Barbara dropped us at the rail station when she collected Maddie, and picked us up again. She was really flexible with my dates, which I couldn’t confirm until the last minute, and even then had to alter them. She was also friendly, chatty and warm, a pleasure to meet her.”

Blanca V.
“I never imagined anyone could care for Pimentón the way we do at home… until we met Blanca. Our little one isn’t just a dog — he’s part of our story, part of our soul — and leaving him with someone else felt like tearing a piece of our hearts away. But Blanca didn’t just care for him… she loved him. From the very beginning, there was a magical connection. Blanca didn’t need words to understand him — she looked into his eyes and knew exactly what he needed. Every day, she sent us photos that brought tears to our eyes, because in each one we saw our Pimentón happy, safe, and loved. When we went to pick him up, he didn’t run to us like he usually does… he just looked at us with those shining little eyes that said, “I’m okay, I was in good hands.” And that, to us, meant more than a thousand words. Thank you, Blanca, for becoming his second family — for your tenderness, your devotion, and your immense heart. You didn’t just take care of our dog… you took care of our entire world.”

“Andrea will love your pet like her own. She loves to take walks with the pets. Andrea is a pet owner herself and loves her puppy like her child.”

Tyler K.
“Tyler does a great job with our dog Zuko! When we go out to work, he spends the day with him, taking him on walks, going to the park, or going on hikes. He even taught Zuko how to lie down! Zuko is a very high-energy dog, but Tyler is able to meet him where he is at and tucker him out by the end of the day. Tyler is an amazing and very responsible caretaker for our dog, and Zuko is so happy every time he sees him.”

Kate W.
“Kate is patient, kind, detail oriented and she’s an absolute dog lover! Kate misses her pug, Mickey, who passed away last year. She works full time and knows the time is not right to own a dog at this time. Being a dog walker would bring her great joy and your dogs will be lucky to be in her care. I recommend Kate without reservation.”
