“Lindsay took wonderful care of Loki while we were away. She sent daily pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Loki was happy and well loved. “So grateful to have booked with Mary and her family for the holidays. Faith made herself right at home and got the best of care. Mary was very attentive to Faith's quirks and needs; I was never concerned over how our dog was doing and knew she was in good hands.”
“Emily and Patrick were very kind and flexible with us when my boyfriend and I needed a dog sitter for a wedding. We were late picking her up and they were very understanding. Our dog and Eli must have had a blast together, because slept the entire next day! We will be using them again in the future!!”

About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. We’re happy to adjust to whatever helps your dog feel comfortable and stick to the routine they’re used to. I (Keith) work from home several days each week, so pet care fits naturally into my schedule. Morning walks, yard time, potty breaks, meals, and playtime are already part of my day with my own dog, so adding another four-legged friend feels pretty normal. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.
“Breanna was everything we could have asked for in a sitter! She sent lots of photos and updates, had toys for our dog to play with, and even took him for his favorite treat, a pup cup! She was very communicative and asked great questions to make sure she knew everything he needed. I'd definitely hire her again!”

“Krista was a great sitter for our dog, Rosie. She sent us photos, videos, and assurances that all was well for the entire week. We especially appreciated how responsible she was in giving Rosie her daily meds. Also, her nice fenced in yard was just what our lab needed! Krista's TLC helped us feel confident that Rosie was in good hands! Thank you Krista!”

“Im sure Gus would have liked to go on vacation with us, but I'm pretty sure he would give Annettes house five stars too. He got all the love and attention that he desires and he came home a happy boy!”

“Somdipa watched my Boston terrier, Dude, while I went on vacation for a week, and everything went great! I felt confident that he was well taken care of the whole time. Dude didn't want to leave, so I could tell he had a fun time. Would be very happy to have Somdipa watch Dude again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Allison Park
Lindsay and her family took wonderful care of Daisy. It’s evident that they love dogs and went above and beyond to care for her with play time, walks, and cuddle time during a storm. Daisy loves people and she received plenty of attention during her week-long stay. She loved their fenced-in back yard also. This was our first booking, and we will certainly board our dog with Lindsay again!

Sharon was great with our elderly dog, taking the time to get to know more about her before our trip and accommodating our concerns so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. She updated us with pictures and videos, so we knew our dog was doing well. She was flexible and communicative regarding drop off and pick up. Would absolutely book Sharon again if the need arises!

Caitlin and Connor were absolutely wonderful! They provided numerous updates of our pup while we were away. Our pup, Nova, got along great with Stone and came home happy and tired from all the playtime! We will definitely be reaching out to them again to watch Nova in the future!

Erin is the Best!!! My golden loves staying/playing there! My dog gets so much attention, snuggles and playtime! ! Erin is flexible, responds quickly and is definately a professional boarder.. Staying with Erin is like a doggie vacation! I wouldn’t want my dog to go anywhere else!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
