“We were very pleased with Rose's care of Louis and Sassy. We have never left our dogs with anyone other than family so this was a first. Rose has lots of room for dogs to run around which was great since Louis especially is young and needs a lot of exercise. Rose showed us around and explained everything at her disposal for boarding. They were happy when we dropped them off and that made us feel at ease. We were able to enjoy the Labor Day weekend knowing our pups were in good hands! We will be sure to use Rose next time we head to Outer Banks and need to board our dogs.”

“Barbara was by far the best dog sitter I have ever had. When we dropped him off, she already had me at ease explaining how she introduced the newest dogs one at a time and fed them separately. She has a great property, fenced in back yard with a pool for the dogs to play in. She sent pictures and videos daily and our dog was completely worn out when we picked him up! He ran back to her door and did not want to get in the car. Any animal is in great hands with Barbara.”

I have three dogs and a cat, two old senior dogs and one young pup and cat. She’s so gentle with my older dogs, but can still give the young ones the right amount of attention and exercise! “Carl has always been an animal lover. He has a soft passionate side for all animals. He especially loves chocolate labs as he recently lost his best friend of twelve years, Toffee, to lung cancer and got Pippin shortly after whom he adores. When he was younger he had a tuxedo cat who would walk past everyone in his house and would meow “Carulll”. Animals love him. Hands down I would recommend him for this position. Your pets will also love him as he is fabulous with all of his interactions with all animals.”

About: My name is Laura and I am come from a long background in animal care in zoos and aquariums and have animal training experience using positive reinforcement (operant conditioning). I would be happy to help train your pet/animal or take them on long walks. I love being outside and have had dogs my whole life. I currently have two dogs of my own, a pit/lab mix and an Australian cattle dog. I currently work Monday-Friday, but am available on weekends anytime (Saturday and Sunday) and some evenings (6-8pm) on weekdays. I would be happy to come by your place several times throughout the day/evening to care for your pet. Safety is my number one priority. When I take animals for walks we are safe around other animals and people. I have two friendly dogs that love to play that and would be happy to socialize your dog with mine as long as they get along with other animals.
