“10/10, couldn’t be happier or more grateful with John and Zena’s level of love and care for our rat terrier, Luna. Luna is a high energy, sometimes high maintenance dog who has a history nipping people and other dogs, so we were nervous about using Rover. John clearly is a seasoned vet when it comes to dogs, as Luna was quickly smitten by him. His 3 pups were equally kind and welcoming of our little Luna. Very grateful to have peace of mind we can travel and know our dog is enjoying her own vacation and John and Zenas house! John, Zena and her 3 dogs are Luna’s new best friends!”

“Eric and his family were phenomenal with my highly energetic, easily bored, pup! It’s a little scary leaving your dog for a week, but Eddy was very well taken care during his stay! He updated us when needed, and assured us how well Eddy was doing. The communication and pictures of my dog helped ease the nerves and certainly assured us all was great! All the change and chaos had my dog so anxious and confused, I thought a little vacation and some extra attention would help her feel less anxious. Liz was just what she needed! Right away in our meet and greet, my dog was relaxed and playful with Liz. During her stay, Liz sent me plenty of adorable pictures, kept me updated throughout the stay, and was very easy to communicate with. She was also flexible with time when I ended up with a dead battery and had to move things back a little. About: 40+ years’ experience caring for and loving dogs of all ages. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs and even those in their prime with plenty of energy. I am experienced with administering medicine if needed and caring for those with special needs. My husband and I have always had our own fur babies (toy and standard poodles), but do not have any currently. Can host only NON-SHEDDING BREEDS, due to family allergies. Must be house broken/trained (to potty outside), with the exception of puppies. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.
