“Maura and Lauro took wonderful care of our dog ZuZu. It was apparent that they have much experience with dogs. ZuZu enjoyed her time and we will definitely use them again.”

“Sarah and her pack did awesome!!! Can't thank her enough for taking in Winnie on such short notice. When I picked up Winnie I was taken back at how much Winnie had bonded with Sarah in such a short period of time. Sarah was aware of Winnie's IBD issues and updated me on how she did. I really appreciated her for that!!!! This family definitely loves dogs!!!”

“My dog had a great time staying at Tina and Cameron's for a fun-filled day of daycare. She enjoyed two walks, got to run around in their large fenced in backyard, and was able to socialize with their two dogs! Tina was so sweet and I felt really comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care. You can tell right away that her and Cameron are extremely knowledgeable and have a lot of experience in caring for dogs. My dog came home very happy and ready for a nap - perfect! :) Definitely will be a repeating customer!”

“Brandi was WONDERFUL. She was so welcoming and accommodating despite us intruding on a holiday weekend, and so welcoming of our Pup. Throughout our days of doggy daycare, we received updates and pictures and video of our Piper enjoying her stay and new friends, and at the end of each day, we received a very happy (and very ready-to-go-home-and-nap) dog. We used her back-to-back for two days, and Piper recognized she was going got another visit on Day 2 when we turned down Brandi's road, and immediately started crying excitedly in anticipation, all but pulling me out of the car when we opened the door! It's a shame we're not closer to Janesville for regular use of booking, but if we're ever needing to go through the area en route to our destinations, Brandi will be our first choice for daycare or boarding.”

About: I am a retired dog dad who is in need of more happy dog activity on our ranch! I love all dogs and look forward to welcoming your fur baby into our home and care. I have a 3yr old German Short Haired Pointer (Ava) that has yet to meet a dog she doesn't get along with or that can keep up with her:) Your dog will be well cared for and will definitely get their workout, if that's what their up for. I understand all dogs have their own special needs and I am more than willing to try to accommodate! I am retired and spend 99% of my time at home on the ranch. When I am caring for dogs, my time away from home, if absolutely necessary would be limited to less than an hour. My homestead is a private wildlife sanctuary in Stoughton that has trails throughout the property for daily hikes on or off leash depending on your dogs trustworthiness:)

“Claudette is very friendly and I like her location. There is a park in front of their house, very convenient for a dog walk. Jenko loves it there. I definitely recommend her and will Use her service again.”

“Theresa is the best! My boy loves going to visit and is always well loved!”

“Jacqueline and her family took amazing care of our dog, he couldn't have seemed happier when we picked him up. Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

About: What is life without pets? I have always had at least 1-2 dogs living with me. I dog sit for family and friends frequently and love giving animals the attention they deserve when their human is away. I work from home. I typically am on the clock from 8-4pm. I am lucky to have a job that allows flexibility as needed. I work next to my back door with views of the dogs outside if I'm inside at my desk. This also helps me pay attention to see if they need to go outside. I also take breaks to just visit with my dog and typically take him on lunch walks (if your pet is a good walker, let me know and they can come along!) I'm willing to try and accomodate your needs, just ask! I will only take house trained animals with no accidents in the past 6 months! I also cannot accept toy aggressive/possessive dogs. They also need to have been socialized with other dogs (preferably cats too). Please be courteous to your sitters and let them know of any behavior issues so we can keep all animals safe! I have a fenced in yard and a Bernedoodle named Bennie (he is socialized well and very docile) who would love to share his home with a play mate! I also have one cat who can be separated in her own sanctuary if needed. I treat animals like family. I believe they all have their own personalities and feelings that require individualized care.

About: I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted . They love our fenced in backyard and my daughter and I walk them every day as a team. When Taylor was a toddler we would go out and visit grandma and aunt / sister and give chino her dog lots of love and walks. Also in the last 5 years my late moms dog rosie who was also adopted. Dogs are great.

“Hanna saved me in a sticky situation where I needed to board my dog unexpectedly. She was able to alleviate my worries about my fur baby being cared for while I was out of the country and I can’t thank her enough!”

“So flexible and helpful with my pup! I trust her 100% and know when I pick my dog up she will be tired from playing outside, with toys or with other dogs! I highly recommend Ashlee and will continue to use her for all of our dog sitting needs!”

“Chanse was top tier and made my puppy’s stay the best it could be! She worked with him on his house breaking, playing with her children, helping him fall asleep when anxious, and helping when he had an upset tummy by feeding him chicken and rice. This was my first time boarding my puppy and I have to say, working with Chanse was well worth the 45 minute drive out to Janesville. Thank you so much Chanse, I will definitely be booking again with you on my next trip!”

“Our Teddy made good friends with Brynn and her family! He had fun snacks and took a nice long nap when he came home so I know he must have had a good play day! I would leave teddy with Brynn again, absolutely!.”

About: I have always had a dog or multiple dogs in my life. I treat them like family. My friends come to me when they need their dogs watched! I am currently unemployed. I had experience working with animals at Petco and I had a previous job working with puppies from age 8weeks up and LOVED it! I would like to do it again. I have two chihuahuas that are allowed to have free roam of the house and yard. They know their boundaries and do not get leashed in the yard. They are allowed on anything but the counters and table! Sleep with me every night and go on walks. I have one with allergies to grass and he gets bathed regularly.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my hands-on experience and dedication. I've fed cats and dogs, walked them, and stayed overnight for extended periods. I've also trained puppies and my own dog, ensuring a well-rounded approach to pet care. Pet owners have relied on me for consistent care, knowing I’m always there when needed. My commitment to providing personalized and compassionate attention makes me a trustworthy choice for any pet sitting job. I am currently a technical college student who only goes to school twice a week while the rest is online, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available to care for your dog Thursday-Sunday most weeks and will give them all the time they need! I like to know the pets routine/schedule and understand any behavior they may have. I would love to know the intentions of me watching your beloved doggy and what you need from me personally to make you and your dog as comfortable as possible.

About: I am the second oldest of 8 kids and I have taken care of pets and kids ever since I was little. I love cats and dogs and get along well with many breeds but prefer small dogs because of strength and we have a huge yard but it’s not fenced in. I am currently available 24/7 and just have small increments of time I would be gone for a doctors appointment occasionally so I can take the dog out often. We keep them well fed and hydrated and cuddle for cats and dog and for the dog we also let him out on the long chain or my son takes him from a walk because he is a larger breed.

“Kim was super sweet & took great care of my puppy! Would highly reccomend her. She took pictures and kept me updated throughout the day while I was at work!?”

About: My livelihood is animals. I love my pets as much as my children and will care for yours as if they were my own! From a young age, I bonded with animals. My grandparents (in their 67 years of marriage) always had 2 dogs and 2 cats, therefore I helped care for so many of them for decades. I learned a lot about pet care from a very young age. My grandparents had a dog with a seizure disorder and as a young teen I was taught how to care for the dog. One of my saddest moments was having to say goodbye to their Doberman when I was 13. I had him in my life since age 5. They also had a Great Dane. I have 5 of my own dogs. (Chihuahua, Frenchie-Boston, Mini-Aussie, and a Pug.) Then the other week, a Lab was at a high kill shelter and was in an emergency situation so we agreed to Foster him. Well, we fell in love, named him Dax. He’s a 1 year old Ruby Labrador. I also have a cat and we have reptiles. Although I do prefer to come to your home, I have taken dogs into my home for a Holiday/long weekend or when a repeat client needs to keep their dog in my home. We have a good sized fenced in backyard and a 5 bedroom home with a downstairs “hang-out” area where we spend time with all the animals. I have done “doggy day care” in my home as well, but I mainly house-sit while I care for your pet(s); I will change cat litter, do light house cleaning, water plants, bring garbage in or out, check mail, etc. I do drop ins and will walk or jog your dogs (or service any of your pets) for any kind of pet care that you need. I have many years of experience with all kinds of animals including special need pets and exotic ones. We took care of a snake in our home for a friend for 4 months. Also, a Hedgehog. I do have a pet sitting website and many references. My aunt joked I am the “dog whisperer” and Dr. Doolittle as I always have them following me around :) I do consider my Business Cindy’s Canines & Critters “family-operated.” My husband is a busy VA Physician, working 4 days a week, but off for 3 (he helps me out) and besides caring for my own pets, this is what I do full-time. My 2 children (10 and 16) are in school, and they do help me in the summer and on weekends, (they are also avid animal lovers) and I am available most Holidays. My son Sam is good at helping me walk dogs if need be. He also picks up dog poop, mows lawns, shovels snow, and cleans yards. If I’ve been booked, he’s stayed in homes caring for cats and dogs for my repeat clients. I am readily available. I take last minute jobs typically as well. Typically I get booked faster May-August. September and October are busy, and November through April slow down. I offer dog walks, $15 for 15 min or $22 for 30 min. I offer a senior discount to those 62 and older. I offer drop in visits as you desire for $33 for an hour to spend time with your pets (which could include a walk and food, water, play time, and clean up). If I have to travel more than 20 minutes from my home for drop-ins, I charge $40 for the hour to make up for gas and extra travel time. If you are having financial trouble and I’m not too booked, I may be able to work with you. I may charge a bit more than some other part-time pet sitters, however I am full time, pour my heart into this, and I have decades of experience. I will give you Top-notch care. My motto is to go over and above and leave the home better than when I arrived. If you are gone more than 1 day and your preference is for me not to house-sit, I can come 3 to 4 times a day and we can work out a rate that is daily/weekend or weekly instead of the drop in visit charge. Many of my clients don’t need me to stay overnight especially when they have cats. I have worked with “hard to handle” dogs and big dogs and am not fond of raising my voice at an animal and definitely no spanking. I prefer redirecting and distraction or a “time out” in kennel or other area. I have also worked with families who use shock collars and I carried around a remote. That is the most I will agree to do where ‘discipline’ is concerned. I’ve done a bit of dog training with pups, but definitely don’t claim to be “professional” trainer, but I do have a very good intuition knowing how to work with a dog. I can also bathe or handle any sized dog. For example, I walk 2 dogs during week days, one is a big Alaskan Malamute, and I can easily walk both big dogs at once. Although we live in a way where our pets are our family and can “run the house” and go on beds-furniture etc. and our cat and dogs sleep with us, I respect what you want in your home. I am more than used to my clients having cameras in their homes, I just ask at the time of hiring to be told and especially if there is one in a bedroom I will be sleeping in. We have Blink cameras in our home as well and if I need to leave my home for an hour or two and have your dog for an extended stay, I watch my camera downstairs to ensure all is well. I’ve worked with puppies who whine at night and need extra care/potty training and also dogs with separation anxiety issues and feel I’ve learned good tricks over the years. For house-sitting with your pet(s) I can bring my own blankets, pillow, and food. I can sleep on a couch or in a guest room or wherever you want to put me. The only thing I ask for is the Veterinary information and WiFi-password. I know I have many pictures in my album… I’ve cared for so many pets I wanted to brag on all of them. I love each and every one of them!! Since I do this full-time, I do have week day dog walks and drop ins, so if I am staying in your home overnight, I cannot be there 24-7 but can be there much of the time. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are less busy. My dogs get along with cats and all dogs, however if you are wanting to board your pet in my home, I do a trial visit for an afternoon to ensure your pet gets along with mine. If you are kennel training, I have a huge kennel downstairs. Also, 3 smaller ones. I’ve also had clients dogs sleeping with me in bed :) I go to bed around 11 and am up at 6 or 6:30 so can let them out potty late and early. My husband and 2 children also help out.

“Jax is a gem! We were dog-less for a year before recently diving back in to canine companionship with a teething, potty-training-in-progress puppy (ie, no small feat of dog-watching). We solicited recommendations from friends and also got back on Rover to see if we could find anyone near us, and I was immediately impressed by Jax's experience and so happy to see we live in the same neighborhood. After a positive meet-and-greet, it was clear Jax checks all the boxes for the perfect pet-sitter: clear, consistent, professional communication in scheduling; highly experienced; beyond competent with expertise in training and all elements of dog care; so pleasant to work with; fairly priced. Our pup had so much fun spending time with Jax and Jax's pack, and we feel that Jax truly goes above and beyond, supplying photos and updates throughout the day. Will definitely be booking with this exceptional, highly skilled caretaker in the future, and would recommend Jax's services to anyone!”

“Brenley has been watching my puppy, Remi 3 to 4 days out of the week while I’ve been working since we brought her home in October. While being with Brenley, Remi has learned almost all basic commands (sit, stay, come, lay down) and more! Brenley is flexible and very reliable. I trust Brenley 100% and I hope when I bring home my next puppy, she can be there to help me in the training process and also be someone I can call if I ever need a dog sitter! I recommend Brenley to any dog owner :)”
