About: I have been trained as a vet technician and animal care by the military. I have taken care of animals since childhood, and I believe all animals are part of the family I currently working on my own homestead, and I maintain our family animals and needs on a daily basis. Some may say that they are part of my daily chores, but I do not consider my babies as choirs. I have a fenced in yard. The yard is segmented for separation and safety. I have loving dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. They are able to be in the same areas together with no issues, but my farm is segmented for privacy amongst the animals as well. I feel everyone has their way of loving their babies, and the baby deserves consistency in their normal routines. I find this is most important when missing their human.

About: I have cared for a pet for virtually every year of my life that I can remember. From puppies and kittens to the most elder of the two, I cherish all stages of their development and love the joy that each unique individual personality of each pet brings to our world. I'm currently working part time, and on the days that I do work, I work remotely, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to the care of your pet. I have a beautiful large yard at the end of a cul-de-sac that is full of trees. We live in a very nice neighborhood that is perfect for walking dogs also. We have two indoor cats that get along beautifully and are adaptable to other animals. We have a very clean home and are non-smokers.

About: When I care for someone else's pets, I treat them like they were my own and how I would like my pets to be treated. I am semi retired but want to keep busy doing something I love. I cannot thin of anything better than caring for and spending time with animals. My days are pretty flexible which makes doing one or multiple visits not a problem in the least. I realize some animals take a bit more rtime than others getting used to a new face so being patient, let the ones who need more time come to me and showing them all a lot of love, and playtime. I will read all instructions very carefully and care for their pets with love, trust and reliability. I, also, like to send the owner(s) pictures of their pet(s) while they are in my care especially if the owner is out of town. I have had people who have care for my pets do that and I loved that. It gives the owner and added extra peace if mind.
About: To me, animals are the most innocent companions we have. They deserve to feel safe, understood, and loved. While I’m not a vet, I bring a deep sense of empathy and a lifelong passion for animals to every interaction. Whether it’s giving meds to a senior dog, helping a disabled pet navigate their day, or handling exotic pets with confidence, I bring calm energy and a strong sense of responsibility to every pet I care for. I work 6:30am - 3pm in Lake City, Monday-Friday. So I can do one Lake City trip and one trip in Jasper or Live Oak Monday - Friday. I am free more on the weekends so I can do at least two drop ins on the weekends if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home. But I am trustworthy and believe that an animal should be left in the environment that they are most familiar with. Removing them from their environment to a strangers will cause too much stress so I am not an advocate of bringing animals to my house. As far as my routine, once I get a new client, I will want to meet the new client and their fur child before they leave for their designated trip. It’s SO IMPORTANT they see me interact with their owner and know that I’m not a threat especially in their own environment. This creates trust and builds a bond between myself and the animal. (Cats can be territorial too! I’ve seen them attack intruders. Don’t underestimate them.) Keeping to routine and treats go a long way are my two general rule of thumb. Animals aren’t human and they don’t like a lot of change so continuing the same routine as their owner is important as fat meal times or cleaning out litter boxes. Not to mention giving them treats after every visit lets them be excited for you to come AND leave.

About: I have experience of all kinds with pets. I can provide them with baths, entertain them in the dog park or indoors for dogs and cats and I can make sure to provide food, water and regular potty breaks as well as gentle care I work part time at Chick-Fil-A as well as with VSU football staff, but I still have plenty of hours through the day to spend with your pets and provide them with great care. About: I've grown up with many animals since I can remember. Your furry friend is sure to find a friend here in my home with a chihuahua, great white pyr, antolian sheperd, goats, and cat. If they prefer to be the only pet in a home, I can accommodate keeping them separate with majority of the home to themselves free range. Pets are welcome on the couch and in the bed in my home. Your pet would never have a boring dull day here on the micro farm :) I have a fenced half acre yard with two friendly well rounded livestock guardian dogs. They would love to have a friend visiting and this will ensure your dog gets fellow canine socialization and playtime while staying with us! If they are not a social dog, I can keep them to front yard solo walks and outdoor time, and they will have the majority of the home to themselves as they please if needed.
