About: I usually pick up stray dogs when I travel and live with them until I find a home. Last trip I found a stray dog and the Airbnb I stayed at ended up adopting him. My old dog Rafiki was a bit of a trouble maker and extremely strong but was so lovely, I trained him and eventually I could take him on buses and trains. I would wake up at 4 am, play frisbee then we would walk to work where he had a dog bed, toys, food, water, etc. then we would play once an hour. At the moment easily, I work from home and make my own schedule. Also, it would be perfect for both of us with lots of walks and play. I treat them with compassion and love. In my house they are allowed on the furniture (unless owner does not want that), ball, toys, etc. In the owners home it’s all their rules as I don’t want to change any norm that is needed and respect their property. They main thing is a lot of play and obey what the owner wants/needs.

About: I'm an interior designer that loves dogs, cats, horses, etc etc and happy clients- ! I enjoy providing peace of mind and assurance of happy healthy pet nanny. I pet sit internationally as well on Trusted Housesitters- I'm basically Mary Poppins for pets! I'm free to schedule and stay as needed for walks and house sits ... happy to provide care and flexible as to responsibilities / happy pets is my goal! Treat them as my own - lots of time, attention, activities, engagement, training if requested or just spoiling as well - lots of spoiling - major spoiling

I am based in Aspen but I live in Carbondale, so we would have to take into consideration that I have to travel with the pet for 30 minutes to get there and come back to Aspen. When it comes to caring for pets at my client’s houses 🏡 I just take on instructions and follow them carefully, if I need to take them for a walk and feed them i do so, if I need to stay with them and give them company I will do so gladly and I will never go off the script.

“Alyssa has always been a reliable walker and puppy watcher for our pup! She takes him on walks, hikes, and has watched our pup for weekends. I am very particular and only leave our pup with a few people and she is one of them. She always takes into consideration the importance of exercise, supplying fresh water/food, and the safety of our pup. An added bonus if your dog gets along with other dogs is her sweet pup, Charley. Our pup is VERY dog selective, but her dog and ours have grown to be great play mates. So that is such an added bonus for anyone with a dog. Your fur baby will be in great hands with Alyssa.”
