“My golden doodle, Brandy had her first sleep over with Charles and she loved it! While there, Brandy was treated like family. She was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I received pictures of Brandy and updates. The yard is incredibly big, fenced in, lots of shade. This is a perfect place for any dog to be!”

“Mary & her husband Marc couldn't have been a better choice to watch our little rescue Molly. This was the 1st time we left her with anyone so we were a little nervous, but after our meet & greet we felt 100% sure that she would be in good hands. They are very kind & caring people. I would not hesitate to leave Molly with them again when we return to The Villages.”

About: I have had dogs for many years of my life. As a child I had a Boxer for 7 years. She was a show dog before she came to live with us. In the past 30 years I have had a Miniature Schnauzer, Kimba for almost 18 years. When Kimba passed I adopted a rescue dog who had been abused, Buddy, a Boxer/Pit Bull mix. Buddy bonded with me but was terrified of everyone else. We decided that Buddy needed a friend and we got Copper, an Australian Shepherd who was a year younger than Buddy but he helped Buddy realize that he would never be hurt again. They are best buddies and bring my wife and me joy every single day. I am retired so I usually have availability most days. I am available in the event of last minute emergencies that may arise. Please do not hesitate to reach out. Your family is my top priority and any concerns as to oral medication or special care will be addressed as agreed during interview prior to booking.

“When I met Kelie she was the proud owner of a flat coat retriever that she got at about 1, Brolie was 10+ years old and she walked home everyday rain or shine. She had paid thousands to replace 2 of his knees. We wanted to buy a house together and looked at ramblers for months finally resorting to by a tri-level with shorter steps. Brolie started to bleed internally and had so much arthritis that the vet recommended putting him down. Kelie took several days off of work to be with him to the end and held him when the vet did the injection. For 3-4 months Kelie didn't want another dog. I had been the owner of 3 Samoyed's in the past and found a 9+ year old Samoyed that needed a new loving home. We adopted Aris and committed to give him the best remaining years and he lived until he was 14 years old. At the end Aris couldn't make the stairs up to the bedroom Kelie slept on the couch for 3 months with Aris by her side. The grooming and care for a Samoyed is much more than almost all other dogs. When he got to the point of not being able to walk we had the vet come to the house and put him down. After Aris past Kelie joined Homeward Bound and has volunteered to walk dogs that are up for adoption.”

“Our dog had a great time with Becky! She was vey accommodating with our changing arrival times and responds to texts immediately. Her home is extremely dog friendly with a fenced yard that our dog loved enough to do “zoomies.” She also invited us to a meet and greet visit before the daycare day. I would recommend Becky to anyone.”

19. Sophia H.
“I have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Pomski. They matter to me as much as my kids, and Sophia does a superb job of making sure they are well cared for when I am away. Her background in animal care plus experience working at a kennel and rescue makes her well-suited for watching difficult dogs and those pets needing special care. I not only trust her with my dogs, I would trust her to watch my kids!”
