I have pets who need medication, and knowing they are with her, I don’t have to worry. The care she has taken when pet sitting for me is above what I could have asked for. About: I’ve been a pet lover my entire life. Growing up, our household had an 80 pound boxer and a 9 pound multi poo that were treated like part of the family. I know how important pets are, and it will be my priority that your pet feels safe and secure in my care. I’ve been a volunteer for 7 years at a local animal shelter and have completed the courses for cat socialization, as well as their dog walking program. I do not have allergies, so I will be able to give your fur babies all the hugs and kisses they need. I live in a 3000 square-foot home that is smoke-free/kid-free and we have 20 acres that your furry friend can enjoy on leash. I am 19 years old and have a flexible schedule for your furry friend(s). No time is too late or too early. I’m here to help! My home is a smoke-free and kid free home. We have plenty of room for your pet to play, both indoor and outdoor. If your dog is good on leash, we have 20 acres for your pet to explore. I also live five minutes from Whitewater Park, so I would be happy to take them on walks at the park if requested. On my profile, it states that I will do one dog at a time, but if your household has more than one dog, I can accommodate that. I just want your pets to be safe in our home so I will not commingle them with other dogs they do not know.

About: I used to work at a dog day care on west fork! Absolutely loved it! I also have a Cavalier of my own! Who is very friendly with other dogs and even cats! Have lived my whole life with a dog and at some points more than one! I have also watched family and friends dogs in the past and just recently found out about this app! I also am in nursing school, however I have the summer off so I think this is the perfect opportunity for me! I have a job as a PCA at Christ Hospital, but my sister also lives with me and is able to take care of them while I am at work in the mornings! I only work twice a week, so I will be the main one taking care of the animals! I always make sure to fill their bowls up, two or three times a day depending on what the owner normally does! Of course also letting them out a ton, if your dog is not potty trained I can help work with them to become potty trained! I also think it is important to not just take care of them but play with them and let them know they are loved! Absolutely love animals!

About: The past 2 summers, I have worked as a veterinary assistant at an Animal Hospital, and plan on going to veterinary school in the future. At an animal hospital, I had the opportunity to work with dogs and cats of varying temperaments, health needs, and ages, from puppies/kittens to seniors. I have experience in animal restraint, and am familiar with the basics of veterinary first aid. Additionally, I have taken care of my family dog, who is now 6 years old, since she was a puppy. My freshman year, I dog-sat for about 6 months daily for a family friend when their dog was a puppy. I have also sat for another family in my neighborhood, who has 2 older dogs and a cat, so I have experience with both types of animals. My responsibilities with these jobs including taking the pets out for walks, feeding them, and playing with them. Generally, I am extremely flexible with scheduling. I am available all day MWF, and usually Saturday morning/afternoon, and Sundays. Tuesdays I am available after 2:30, and Thursdays am available after 5:30 as I have class those days. I am very flexible to your needs, as I have previous experience not only as a pet sitter but in a veterinary medicine setting with animals. I will do my best to keep your pet happy whatever that may look like! In my own home, responsibilities include walking my dog, feeding her, and of course giving her lots of love!
