About: I've owned and cared for animals, from horses and sheep to dogs and snakes, since childhood. Experience in senior care, puppy training, and special dietary needs. I work from home and shape my work time and lifestyle around being able to stay active periodically throughout the day. The ability to essentially work from anywhere that has wifi grants me the flexibility to be present with the animals I my care. Outdoor play time and exercise, companionship, and daily hygiene and grooming. I also have the option for separate feeding spaces when boarding pets with food aggression.

About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember, as soon as I could I started at our local animal shelter, then I started pet sitting for family and friends. I was the go to pet sitter for when they were out on vacation and it was an honor every time! My availability is Tuesday through Saturday, and I’m free all day anytime. I have the time to take care of your pets needs when they need it! For care in my home I have a medium/small sized dog they can socialize with as well as walks every hour. I have all the free time for animals, their needs are important to me!
7. Morgan L.

Morgan loves the interaction and is dedicated to my kitties happiness, routine, and playtime! She really can read their minds! They love her dearly! I highly recommend Morgan - she shows care, concern, reliability, and complete dedication to my kitties during her entire stay. She adheres to feeding and medication schedules as needed - and is just an all around genuine great person. I welcome her to take care of my babies anytime! Thank you Morgan 😊”
8. Kelly C.
“Kelly is truly amazing at taming our cats. we have 3 cats and 2 are really scaredy cats. Kelly managed to get them out from under our bed on the first day. After the first day we were able to feel all the love Kelly gave our cats through all the photos she sent us daily. It really made us feel great and not to worry about our babies during our trip. Kelly is a true cat whisperer.”
9. Izabella H.
“Izabella is very passionate about her animals and does whatever is necessary to maintain their happiness and their health. She carries her cat in a screened backpack when she goes for walks, now that is dedication! I have found her to be genuine, tender hearted and trustworthy. I definitely recommend her to anyone with pets.”
10. Caitlynn J.
“Caitlynn is a caring, attentive, and responsible pet owner and lover. After knowing her for 10 years, we've shared so much love over our passion for animals and pets together, and I can confidently say she is one to rely on with watching over and taking care of your beloved furry family members, both big and small. (:”
11. Bernadette F.
“Bernadette is the best dog sitter I have ever used. My dogs are pretty attached to me and experience a fair amount of separation anxiety when I have to leave them behind and they find ways to make sure I know they are unhappy with me when I get back. But when Bernadette stays with them it's like I never left, the dogs are happy and content, obviously very well cared for. My need has mostly been for someone to stay with my dogs when I go out of town, which is what I have hired Bernadette for, but since my dogs completely adore her I ended up using her for dog walks as well, mostly because she has such a positive effect on them. I truly believe that her influence on my dogs has helped to socialize them and work through some of their separation anxiety. I highly recommend Bernadette, she is not only responsible and respectful of my dog rules she is very sweet and loving to the animals.”
12. Kassidy N.
About: I've had Alaskan Malamutes since I was born, and have a lot of experience taking care of large dogs because of this. I can handle a dog that pulls on the leash, and have enough of an authoritative voice to get their attention and keep it. I also have 5 cats currently, two of which have strict dietary and health needs. I am capable of giving medications, as well as keeping pet foods separate from other pets if need be. I work and have school all day Monday-Wednesday every week, but I will be done with classes around 12pm on Thursdays, so I am available for overnight pet sitting gigs Thursday-Sunday. Any dog walking or pet check ins I will also be available for during that time. I always try to make sure that I get well acquainted and comfortable with each pet, and know their needs ahead of time. With my cats I make sure they get all of their medications mornings and nights, and are fed regularly. The cat boxes are changed once a day, and I play with them whenever they are in the mood. With dogs I will walk them once or twice a day depending on their activity level, and make sure to leave plenty of time to play throughout the day.

About: I’ve been petsitting for over 20 years. I can care for your babies as if they are mine. Cats, dogs, birds, turtles, etc. thank you! I am available for up to two drop ins per day seven days a week. I usually stay 20-45 minutes per visit to love on and take care of your pets. We have a wooded home with no fences. We’re not close to to a road. We have one neighbor. Any runners would probably not do well here
16. Morgan T.
“Morgan is the most conscientious pet owner/animal lover that I know! She treats every dog and cat as if they were her own. Pretty sure my cat Mort loves her more than he does me. And my mom trusts no one but Morgan to stay with her cat Beni when she takes multi-day trips. Morgan also sends pics and videos to you while you’re away, which are very comforting to receive😊 In short, I wouldn’t hire anyone else, my family won’t hire anyone else, and my neighbors gush over how happy their dogs are when Morgan cares for them! If you’re seeking someone to truly CARE for your beloved pet, Morgan is available, hire her, you’ll be so happy you did!”
17. Nena B.
“Nena has been wonderful watching and grooming my dog Sisko. She is a 7 year old Saint Bernard and is always excited for time with Nena. Nena has been helping me for 2 years and I couldn’t ask for a better person!”
18. Kristi Q.
About: I am new to Rover through friends and other sites have now done many housesits with dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, and more! For me, there is nothing better than getting to spend the day between online work sessions throwing a ball or going for a walk around to explore with the best canine companion. I have lots of experience adjusting to different dogs' routines. I mostly have experience with smaller dogs, though have cared for the occasional one bigger dog at a time. I try to connect with each animal under my care and make sure they are comfortable, attended to, and loved. I have raised my own dog, Violet, from Day 1, so I am experienced with puppy care. I have also cared for several senior dogs and really love taking the extra time with them, whether a slower walk, attention to a skin condition, or extra attention to food and medication. I work online teaching literature and creative writing, so I am around all day, taking the occasional few-hour trip out to run errands or go to appointments. I have lots of flexibility to adjust to any dog's usual schedule and make sure they have attention and my presence. I have always worked hard at leaving a light footprint when I housesit. I am very aware of leaving things how I found them and honoring each person's space. And I follow that for pets as well -- sensing into their routines and habits and fitting myself into that flow. I especially appreciate any written instructions or routines to refer back to and will make sure I am carrying out each person and animal's expectations. I also make sure to send regular photos and updates and will promptly share any concerns or questions. For now, I'm available for drop-in visits or walks and also for housesitting, but only for owners and pets who would be open to having another dog -- my 26lb dog Violet -- in their home. She has been on many housesits and does well with animals of all kinds. I make sure to ease them into the situation and spend time with each dog separately. Violet basically ignores cats, so we would be open to any dog-tolerating felines.
19. Brian S.
“I was a nervous-wreck of a dog owner as this was the first time I was ever going to be away from my dog and my dog had just gotten over his separation-anxiety issues. On top of this, it wasn't going to be a short stay (3 weeks) and I was going to be in a remote location for work. Brian was great and re-assured me that he'd take care of my dog as if he was one of his own. I took my dog over and he immediately fit in (which is really a big worry for me since my boy is a larger dog) and the velvet couches and home atmosphere made my dog immediately comfortable as that's what he's used to lounging around on at home. While away, Brian would send me text/SMS messages 2-3 times a day with pictures of what my boy was up to which put me at ease -- I was worried I was going to be one of those owners calling everyday. I got to see him playing with the other dogs, cuddling with them, and him getting plenty of attention (my dog really demands lots of pets and affection.) When I got back home, Brian was great in dropping him off and waiting with him (I was late due to traffic) and my boy was happy and healthy waiting with him. I'm now not as nervous about going away for work knowing that my dog has a home-atmosphere to stay in.”
