About: I have been lucky enough to grow up with dogs, cats and horses my entire life. My family raised and trained military and police K9s, so I was around big dogs my entire childhood. I have potty trained 7 of my own dogs as an adult, and several others. I have also been working with horses (my own and others) since I was 13. My current pups are both 16 lb terriers, but I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have had 4 senior citizen dogs in my care over the past 15 years, so I am well versed in the special needs they have. I am a home and acreage property owner (also love plants if you have those needs) Taking care of animals gives me a great sense of joy and peace, so I hope I can bring some of that to your fur babies. I am on a sabbatical currently with a very wide open schedule, this may change in coming months, but I will still have flexibility for drop in care/walks and house sitting. I care for my elderly mother, so unless the circumstance is unique, I prefer not to sit pets in my own home so as not to disrupt her. I do have a fenced in yard that is secure, but we do have a pool within the enclosure. I am happy to pet/house sit in your home, and rest assured I will treat it as my own and do a pre-meeting to receive all instructions and preferences to best care for your pet and your home.
