4. Madison D.
“Madison “Maddie” is such a wonderful pet sitter! She is gentle, sweet, playful, loving, dependable and committed to providing whatever care is needed. Sometimes, I think my pet has more fun with Maddie than me — I love the bond that they share. Bella is a very active dog. She loves long walks, hiking and sand time at the beach (but not the water). Since Maddie has been introduced to Bella, she has been working with her, that it’s ok to get your feet wet. I didn’t think it was possible but Maddie did it…she got Bella to trust her. She is comfortable with any size pet and breed. It's reassuring to know my pitbull is well cared for in my absence, whether, I’m at work or on vacation — Maddie is my go-to! I 100% recommend Maddie to anyone looking for a pet/house sitter. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.”

About: I'm a student at Clemson University home for the summer. I've cared for all kinds of dogs and cats, besides my own, essentially my entire life. I love animals so much that I almost decided to be a vet, and I've cared for senior dogs, puppies, and cats. I can give your pet all the love in the world while you're away for the time being. I'll be working part time, mostly from my computer at home besides court monitoring at 9am a couple times a month and errands here and there. I will have plenty of time to care for your pet and will prioritize their happiness equally as much as my own priorities. I have an unfenced yard, although it's nowhere near the road and in a more private area that is surrounded woods. If that makes you uncomfortable I am more than happy to walk your pet on a leash alongside my pup. I can crate up your pet if you need me too, as I have a large crate from my last dog. They have plenty of room to roam around my house and are welcome to be cared for on any floor if they are unable to use stairs. I have a small, super friendly Italian Greyhound and a cat that can keep your pet company.
16. Caitlin & Ryan H.
“Caitlyn and Ryan were exactly what you hope for in dog walkers - considerate, friendly, timely, responsible, easy going and helpful. They could not be more cooperative and are clearly dog loving. They actually played with my dog as well as walked! They go above and beyond. As a single working mother who adores her dog, there is no more comforting solace than to know your pet is well cared for while you are away, and Caitlyn and Ryan surely do so.”
17. Kathleen M.
“So happy we found Kathleen on here to take our large St. Berdoodle on walks while we were away. I was happy she suggested a quick meet and greet before we left so we knew we were in good hands. She’s very reliable and communication is great. Thanks Rover!”

About: In addition to caring for my own 14 year old pit mix, I have years of experience taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I do visits for walks and feeding as well as overnights, and I am comfortable administering medication. I have also fostered two cats and had a pet bunny, and have additional experience sitting for cats and chickens! I am currently living at home on a gap year before medical school. I nanny about 20 hours a week and have time throughout the day for petsitting. I am available for overnights both during the week and on weekends. I will ensure your pet is well-supervised and cared for. I am happy to snuggle with them (if they're into that) and can crate them if desired!

About: I grew up in a dog-centric household, however I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 19 years. For the last 8 years, I've had the opportunity to foster dogs through different organizations, as well. It has been an extremely rewarding and educational experience with regards to learning about a multitude of different dogs and how best to deal with different dog personalities and what their mannerisms indicate. The foster dogs that I cared for ranged from puppies to senior dogs and included numerous different breeds. I've had dogs that were incredibly easy, as well as ones that were particularly difficult and high maintenance. These experiences have made me open to taking care of all types of dogs; I'm happy to help administer medicine, eye drops, insulin injections, etc. I've experienced it all! My schedule is flexible because I'm currently based from my home. This basically means that I'm available to provide care in whatever capacity needed beginning from late morning until the evening and any day that's necessary. I have two dogs of my own and my day heavily incorporates them into it. I made a concerted effort to do the same thing whenever I took care of foster dogs. Whenever a dog is my responsibility I make a point of giving them the care and attention that they require. I'm available to walk any pup beginning from late morning into the evening, including multiple times a day. I currently live in a house with 3 acres and a huge back yard with forest surrounding it, so it is not fenced. However, I'm more than happy to walk your dog if there's a fear that they will run into the forest. If there is a situation where your pup gets along with mine then it would be fine for them to hang out with us during the day if that's preferred for some company. Otherwise, we are able to separate my dogs and keep them upstairs while I care for your pup downstairs. I'm also open to dog-sitting for anyone going on vacation! Our house is set up to accommodate dogs visiting and staying due to my previous fostering, which is how I came to have my two current dogs. Also, I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement to teach dogs acceptable behavior and manners, so no punishments that may traumatize or hurt the pup!
