About: Hey there! My name is Gillian and I would love the opportunity to meet your furry best friend! I became a part time sitter because I have a true love for animals that I haven’t been able to explore within my current field of work. I’m hoping to gain experience to switch gears and start a career I’m passionate about. I grew up with a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and hamsters. And have experience with care of both puppies, kittens and senior cats/dogs. My family and I love animals and have owned Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to name a few breeds! We have also rescued 3 cats and I currently have my own long haired beauty living with me in West Philadelphia. I have prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant and although the position was short lived I gained great knowledge pertaining to both dog and cat care, handling and health. I look forward to continue to further my experience with animal CPR training in the near future! I also have reliable transportation in case of an emergency. I understand your pet is family and I can ensure responsible and tentative care when with me! I’m currently working freelance in film so my schedule is super flexible! I usually can provide care during the week and weekend anytime within a day’s notice! I can assure timely drop ins, always following your pets set schedule and plenty of playtime. I have the mindset of leaving any place cleaner than I found it. I’ll happily tidy or clean up any pet made messes!

“Rebecca is amazing! We have a moderately chaotic situation with our pets as it is, and it only got more chaotic when we were out of the country! Rebecca went above and beyond to care for our sick dog, bring her to the vet, and clean up after her when she made a mess in the house. She not only took great care of everyone in all the regular ways, but her communication throughout everything that was going on and her willingness to do whatever was necessary to take care of the unexpected situations was amazing. We are extremely grateful for all that Rebecca did and we hope to be able to use her services again (minus the illness and visits!) very soon!!”
