“Jeffery is pure magic in human form. My family first visited his farm this past spring to begin our journey raising a small flock of egg laying/pet chickens. He came highly recommended by several friends. We chatted regularly in the few weeks leading up to us picking out our babies, and it wasn't until we got to his farm that i had the starling realization of just how many chicks/animals he has under his loving care. I was astonished at how quickly he had answered all my messages and how much time he took to give me any information I asked for. He made me feel like I was the only person in the world he was interacting with, and that's certainly far from the truth. He is sweet and kind and had tremendous patience with the four of us each wanting to hand pick two chicks. He continued to be a reliable (and SO friendly) wealth of information as we raised up our babies, and we will never do chicken business with anyone else. When I heard that Jeffery was open to dog sitting, my partner and I were absolutely floored. Our sweet pup Peter is a wonderful, sweet, high energy little man who has grown up on our farm, which is next door to my father's farm. Peter Piper has been terrified of car rides since the day we brought him home; we were optimistic with more rides he would become acclimated to it, but we're five years in and he still trembles if you make eye contact with him while standing anywhere near a vehicle. Subsequently, Peter has had very limited interactions with other dogs.My father has a lazy, lovable Pittie (Goldie) and they are best friends, but sadly she's dog aggressive (other than Peter) so we can't have doggie visitors here. Typically my father watches both dogs or we watch both dogs, but my father was on a road trip with Goldie recently, and Nate and I really wanted to go to a bluegrass festival several hours away. When I suggested bringing Pete to Jeffrey my partners eyes lit up. We dropped Peter off with Jeffery, and it's safe to say we ALL had a wonderful next few days. Jeffery understood Pete's insecurities perfectly and without much explanation on our parts; he's truly an animal whisperer! We were delighted by the regular text and picture updates we received every day and night that we were gone. Jeffery tailored Pete's stay to give him the best possible experience, and Pete fell in love (and in COMFORT) with Jeffery by the end of day one, and it was smooth sailing from there. I cannot even begin to express how special of a human Jeffery is. He's incredible. All of his animals are wonderfully cared for, his house and property are beautiful, and I never thought we would find anyone who could connect with our sweet Pete so quickly. If you asked Pete, I'd be willing to bet he would agree to a car ride, ONLY if the destination was to Jefferys. He is THE MAN for the job if you want your fur babies to have just as good of a time as you do when vacationing or sneaking out for a quick getaway. Thank you Jeffrey, SO much, for adding so much to our lives between the chickens and the dog whispering. 20/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!”

About: I have had a dog of my own since I was 12 and absolutely adore all animals. I did a decent amount of dogsitting over the 2022 summer and loved it :) I am a freshman and hamilton college but hoping to do more over the upcoming summer. I am honestly pretty open other than working 1-5 usually everyday. Besides that I am available to take care of your pup whenever it is needed :) Please just let me know what works best for you! I love to take dogs on walks and really just spend quality time with them. I really just enjoy the company and think they’re adorable :) I could play all day or watch a show on the couch with some pets depending on what they need from me!

Olivia plays with our dog, takes him for walk and when he is whiny or sad, she is so comforting to him - asking him “ what’s wrong ?” And meeting his needs. She provides extra love and support with petting him and staying close by as needed. I always call on Olivia to stay in the home while we travel and she has never had an issue. At times, our dog barks a lot and Olivia is so calming to be around that our dog feels comfortable and he never gives her a difficult time..
