“My family met jennifer on the NextDoor app and she quickly answered when I texted her to ask if she could watch my 1 year old German sheppard for 6 days and quickly agreed and the price was very reasonable. Since my dog is still young I requested to meet their lovely family one day then her 2 little sweet dogs a other day and they agreed and came out of their way to make sure everything would work out since my dog hasn't been around people and dogs much. Once we realized everything good we then dropped him off to go on vacation we had daily updates on how he was doing with such cute pictures with their daughter. They took him on lots of walks and went to the dog park and I could tell my puppy LOVED it there. They have a beautiful home that's perfect for dogs and it was overall a perfect experience”

About: Long-time dog lover, first-time dog owner! But don't let that dissuade you. My experience with my dog started off as a big challenge (and I continue to work with him everyday!). I've learned a LOT about handling a strong dog- and I'm constantly rewarded with cuddles! I'd love to care for your dog as I do my own. If our dogs get along, I'm happy to facilitate joint walks (and off-leash if your dog is good with that), or play dates when I am taking care of your pup. Of course, we would make sure this is okay with all parties involved! I use tools with my dog, so if your dog is used to a slip lead, long line, prong collar, or eCollar, I have loads of experience with my dog and these things. I am self-employed and work from home. I set my own schedule, so I have flexibility in when I can care for your dog. Since I am out with my dog a couple of times per day, I can arrange to take our dogs out together (if everyone is okay with that!) My home is too small to accommodate more than my dog (I live in a tiny home!), so all care would have to happen at your house. I do have a dog-friendly car, and can crate one of the dogs in the car to keep them separated in transit, if I ever take them on an approved adventure.

From the very first visit Sherry took the trouble to explore and find various ways to help draw her out. It is all working very well and we now leave Penny with Sherry for full days and we are working towards leaving her overnights when we travel. About: I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph. I have also completed the Veterinary Technology program at SLC. I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I work during the week at a veterinary clinic. Therefore, Friday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday work best for me. I am also available for evening walks/check-ins. With 7 years of post secondary education in the Animal Medicine field you can trust your pet will receive the best care. Every pet will be treated like family.

We left our dogs out and when we noticed on our doggie cam one had gotten into something and tore it up we called her and she was able to go put him in his crate right away (most likely saved our furniture) she even cleaned up what the dog got into. About: Hello! Animals have been my passion since I was a little girl. I have worked at a dog daycare for 3 years and now am currently working as a Tech at a Veterinary Clinic now going on for 2 years! I am so lucky to be surrounded by animals everyday and always learning new things about each and every animal. I would love to pet sit your furry friend and hopefully become a new best friend for them too! I am currently working full time at a Veterinary Clinic so my availability would be ideal for weekends! Weekdays I can watch as well just may not be able to stay overnight at your home depending on the day. I would love to watch your pet at your home!
