“Lindsay stayed overnight at our home with our cat while we were away, and took the best care of him! She updated us with pictures throughout the time we were gone, and always checked in. She was so sweet, and went above and beyond cleaning up after herself while she was here. We were away for a birthday trip and she even left a birthday card for us to return to. We cannot recommend her enough!”
2. Anne M.
“Anne was exactly what you're looking for in a pet sitter. I really can't stress that enough. I have two cats, one of whom takes oral meds via pill pocket. She came over for a meet and greet with them and was a kind and warm person who made me feel at ease from the start. The cats felt similarly and warmed up to her quickly. She told me her goal was to make my time away and return as stress free as possible, and she delivered on that goal completely. My house was exactly like I left it. No messes to clean up, no problems to solve, and a freshly scooped litter box so I didn't even need to do that when I got back. She sent updates with her visits each day including notes about how the cats were doing, their behavior, and multiple pictures. I've never gotten that before, but it was very nice to have! She was great with my cats who really seemed to enjoy her visits by the end (and they don't normally take to strangers like that). Just as importantly, she's the kind of person who you feel like you've been friends with after meeting and talking with her the first time. 5/5”

13. Sara B.
“Sara loves animals as much and she does running and walking. She would be the best dog walker in my opinion. She also enjoys being active which can benifit when a dog wants to play and have fun.”
14. Sarah B.
“Sarah did a great job with our dogs Mercy, a 2 yr old very energetic Shepherd and Blu an equally energetic 2.5 yr old Heeler. We contacted Sarah via Rover only a few days before our trip, she came out the following day for a meet and greet. We liked Sarah from the minute we met her, the dogs did as well! Communication was great. We loved the pictures Sarah sent us. Sarah even went so far as to research and replace the batteries in our keypad entry system which started flashing after we left. We will definitely call on Sarah the next time we need to leave the pups at home. We highly recommend Sarah if you need a trusted dog sitter. Thank you Sarah!”

About: Growing up I always had a love for animals, as I grew my passion became dogs (although cats are a close second). In middle school I was the neighborhood dog sitter, at a young age I had the respect and responsibility needed to care for all breeds and ages of dogs. In high school I began my journey with agility wherein I trained and competed with my own dog (an amazing Australian Shepherd) alongside some of the top agility trainers in the state. My dream to teach others the wonderful sport of agility became reality in college when I was asked to lead many summer camps and classes for children and their four-legged friends where they learned the basics of dog handling and agility at Carden Kennels. My love for dogs (and all animals) flourished into countless hours spent volunteering at the Bangor Humane Society, working for Bear Brook Kennel, and has lead me to my dream job at Eastern Maine Emergency Veterinary Clinic where I currently work and have been for 2 years. I have my own 3 year old beagle and 1 year old treeing walker/beagle mix. I also own 4 rescue cats (ages 10, 6, 5 and 3) and a rescued bearded dragon (aged 5). I’m currently employed in veterinary medicine with a flexible work schedule, I have open availability which allows me to accommodate yours and your pets needs. I am very familiar with all types of harnesses, collars, and leashes which will allow you the peace of mind that your dog is being handled/walked safely. I am comfortable with special requests when it comes to feedings/diets. I also have no issues crating and ensuring that your dog is safely secured back in your home after our walks/play time.
