“Swapna and her family were so welcoming to our pup! We got lots of photos and updates and could tell he immediately felt at home with them. We will definitely be back!”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“My Biz (now 12) is spoiled, has never lived outdoors, has never been crated and can be quite stubborn. Before the pandemic and me working from home full time, he was absolutely fine by himself for 12 hours but now not more than 4-6. When I had to fly out of town on business in December, I had a serious dilemma. The video and photos Elias sent me really helped ease my anxiety for the five days I was away. Elias was attentive in learning about Biz’s normal routine and respectful of all of my requests. He and his family took the very best of care of BIZ and he returned home exercised and happy! I truly recommend Elias highly for conscientious pet care.”

“One of the premier providers on this website. Angela and her family took better care of our dog than we do. Wonderful people. Exceptionally caring and attentive. Overall great experience. Thank you Angela!”

“Chastidy is extremely responsive and very accommodating. My dog likes to play with another dog in her big fenced yard. We really appreciated the photos and reports about how our dog was doing while he was under her care. Thank you, Chastidy!”

“I appreciate Samantha’s diligence in dealing with our last minute dilemmas. Spencer seemed to have had a lovely visit with her & Coco. He appeared happy & at ease in the pics she shared. I would certainly recommend her as a sitter of the highest quality…”

“Jennifer did such a great job! Those nine days are not easy for Huckleberry, and she did wonderful at making sure Huckleberry was comfortable, and reassuring us at the same time by sending us picture and video updates on him. Jennifer did wonderful job taking care of Huckleberry, and we definitely recommend Jennifer!”

“Meena & her husband took very good care of our 8 month old pup. She was updating us with messages and pictures throughout the day and went out of her way to care for him. We were at peace of mind seeing the pictures & updates throughout his stay. Highly recommend her!”

“My hubby is working in the area. I flew in from GA to visit him, so that we could drive to Canada to celebrate our 10th anniversary. He travels with our dog and we needed a safe home away from home while we travel. Ivelisse was great with our fur baby! Love had just been diagnosed with a UTI and she was very attentive, even giving us helpful recommendations on how to prevent further ones. She sent regular updates and we could tell that Love enjoyed the stay as well. We are thankful that Ivelisse was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Thanks for treating our dog like family! We definitely recommend her and would use her again!”

“Thanks Carly and family for taking care of Neo and Cleo ! Both my dog and cat seemed to have enjoyed their stay at your home. Nothing is better than seeing your furry friends happy, safe and comfortable on your return after 8 days !!!”

“Kathleen took very good care of our dog Milo. She made sure to keep us updated by sending pictures and letting us know how he's doing. I couldn't recommend her enough! We will be continuing our boarding with her in the future😊.”

“Anish was absolutely amazing with our dog Max. Having being a long term dog owner, he knew all about how to handle our dog Max . I felt at ease from the time Max was dropped off till the time we picked Max up. Anish took the extra effort to make sure Max was taken for walks even in the pouring rain, and give him plenty of exercise and company. Max returned home happy, rested & well exercised. I highly recommend Anish to take care of your pet, its their home away from home.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

“Max’s stay went great ! Lauren was nice enough to watch him thanksgiving eve- thanksgiving day. We travel to Long Island for the holiday and we can’t bring max along. We were able to enjoy the holiday knowing he was enjoying his time with Lauren! She sent text updates and pictures while he was with her. Highly recommend ! We will be calling Lauren for all our future dog sitting needs.”

“We had a great experience leaving our dogs with Wanda. When we left them I heard them crying and was a bit concerned about them settling in. When we got home Wanda had texted and let us know they were setting in and sent us photos showing them relaxing. During the week we received multiple photos and updates on how it was going, which put us at ease. When we picked up the dogs they were in excellent health and very happy. We would highly recommend Wanda dog sitting services. Thank you Wanda, for taking such good care of our dogs.”

“Kerri and Harry were great with our 12 year old lab, Lacey. They arranged a meet and great prior to booking to make sure that our pup would be ok with their cats. They were responsive and sent updates while we were away. Lacey came home very tired and happy! We will absolutely book with them again in the future!”

“Angela will be with my dog and my dog love her she was friendly and she took care of my dog. Perfect I don’t think my dog miss me that well because she was excellent. She pick her up and drop her off. She fed the dog and walked her for a couple of time.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Yardville
Sarah was amazing! We have never done rover so we were a bit worried to try it out but once we talked with Sarah we knew our dog Tennley would be in good hands. Sarah made us feel so comfortable and I know Tennley had such a happy and safe stay. We were traveling to the area for an event but if we were closer would 100% use her again!

We were so happy to meet Karly and her wonderful family! They took exceptional care of our dog and kept us updated throughout the entire stay by sending us regular photos and videos. It was obvious from every update that our dog was incredibly happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Karly and her family are kind, responsible, and truly love animals. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such great hands. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring pet sitters!

I would give Lisa more than 5 stars If I could! My dog sitter cancelled on me 2 1/2 weeks before my vacation. Needless to say I was in a bit of a panic. After reaching out to many other sitters who couldn’t watch Rocky, I came across Lisa. We weren’t able to have an in person meet and greet, so we talked on the phone. I knew from that conversation that Rocky was going to be well taken care of. Lisa and her family treated Rocky like family! She took pictures daily and she always kept we updated on how he was doing. I would highly recommend Lisa! 😊

Mary and John did a great job watching my Chloe while I was out of the country. Their updates gave us peace of mind that she was in good hands and their backyard was a great bonus for her to get extra outside time as we live in an apartment. Overall we definitely see us booking with them again for boarding.

Meena is very knowledgeable about dog care and made Aussie feel welcomed and comfortable. It was first time Aussie was away from home and in company of other dogs, he being reactive puppy I was a bit worried but she managed him well and he seems to have socialized well. Thank you

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
