About: I grew up in a house with three cats and three dogs, so caring for pets has truly been second nature to me. I got my very first pet when i was 3 years old and proudly helped care for her from the start, learning early on how to be gentle, patient and attentive. Sharing pet duties with my siblings taught me how to juggle different personalities, routines, energy levels - whether that means long walks, playtime, quiet snuggles, or giving shy pets their space. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs of all temperaments and genuinely love getting to know what makes each pet feel safe and happy. She took such great care of my dogs, giving them so much love - nightly massages and lots of cuddles. My 2 year old retriever had recent abdominal surgery and still had his stitches in. I've cared for tons of dogs in my life time, including but not limited to labrador retrievers, bichon frise, bernese mountain dogs, golden doodles, and mutts. Pet care usually fits around my full-time job, schooling, and caring for my own dog. As a college student, I need a lot of study time, but I am always sure to involve good dogs in it. About: For the last 10 or so years I have been taking care of peoples pets. Most recently I was living in Jackson, WY and was able to consistently get more and more pet sitting gigs that lasted anywhere from 3 to 11 nights. If housesitting I'm always happy to toss some dishes in the washer, or vacuum so that when you get home, things are nice and tidy. I also have a pressure washer and all the equipment needed to bring a car wash to you while you are out. I work in the 5 points neighborhood. I can fit a walk in before and after my evening shift. I also have a Suburban so I can transport them if need be. Just making sure doors are locked and I know where the pet is at all times. This also goes for mandatory leashing. I just want to make sure there are no problems, especially in a urban environment like Denver.

“Okay, Rachel is AMAZING. Im from Denver, CO and drove to Jackson for a half marathon. I brought my puppy, Rowan, with me to have a fun filled memorable experience with him in Jackson but being that half marathons don't allow dogs to run the course, I needed a pet sitter that would be willing to wake up super early to allow me to drop him off. I truly didn't think anyone would be willing to accommodate that request (understandably) but Rachel was up for it! Not only that, she also dropped me off at the spot where buses were taking runners to Teton Village for the start line. Truly too kind! When I arrived back at Rachel's place to pick up Rowan, he was having so much fun playing with her neighbor's dog in the yard that he completely ignored me lol. It was hard to pull him away. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with dogs, understanding that each one has its own unique needs. In New York, I served as a Manager at a Doggy Daycare for two years, and after relocating to Colorado, I held a similar managerial role at a Doggy Daycare in Longmont. Following the closure of that business, I transitioned into a managerial position at an Animal Hospital, further broadening my experience in the pet care industry. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and attention I would give to my own, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared-for while you're away. I'm currently working from 7am-12pm and then I go back to work from 1-6pm Monday through Thursday as a Supervisor at an Animal Hopsital. Some days I may work 10-6pm and 7-9pm. I am able to provide exercise for your animals during my breaks or check in on them at that time, then spend the night after work. Feeding schedules may need to be modified but I assure you I will take care of your animals like my own! I also do have 2 kitties of my own but I am able to work around schedules to accommodate. I love to provide an enriching time for your animal in your home. My favorite thing to do is bring your dog for a long enriching and stimulating walk in nature so they can explore all the smells and sounds on their own. I also always send a few pictures to owners each stay/walk to make sure you stay updated with our activities.

We contacted Taylor after another walker cancelled 2 days before we had to head to Beaver Creek and she was super responsive, asked clear questions to make sure she had all relevant information and took great care of Bruno. Our wedding was at the top of a mountain so it required taking a shuttle we’d arranged up and down the mountain and leaving Bru in our condo and she made sure everything went seamlessly. She was in contact with our planner, on time, sent us photos of Bru before dropping him off and made sure he safely was all set in our condo before leaving. Having Bruno in our wedding was really important to us and it was hard for us not to be able to personally get him back to the condo so I can’t emphasize how amazing Taylor was. My currently lifestyle of on and off traveling does not allow for me to responsibly keep a dog or cat so I’d love to adopt yours for the day, week, or month!
