“We knew the minute Heidi met us at the door for our Meet and Greet with Tux, our 13-year old Bichon-Poodle, that we had found the perfect sitter. Tux felt right at home wagging his tail at her kids and Moochie, her Golden Retriever. He sniffed around, as all dogs do, and made his way outside to explore in their fenced-in backyard. We had total peace of mind leaving Tux in her care. She updated us throughout the day with pictures of the kids snuggling and playing with him. “Haejin & Herscel were wondering caretakers! They were open to taking my dog for daycare a few days before and treated her so well. I liked that they only take a few dogs a day to reduce exposure and ensure they are all being watched. I loved the occasional photo and video updates, which her other daycare doesn't do it all. She came home very tired from playing all day, which was exactly what we wanted. I look forward to using them again!”

We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms).
