About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. About: I used to live and work on an animal sanctuary with all different kids of animals. I also worked as a professional dog walker and ive taken care of furry friends for many years. About: Animals have been my love since a young age. Most of my career and volunteer work have been revolving around animals of different species. I've worked for several years in this field group to learn and understand animals along with their different needs. I know how to read body language and what signs to look for if sick. I've worked at a pet store for a few years and a shelter, I as well have some experience at vet clinics. I also have experience with professional dog bathing. I myself have an assortment of different animals I take care of daily; ranging from cats, dogs, reptiles, and small animals. My goal is to help and educate pet parents when I can while making sure they're animals get the best care. Safety will always be my first priority every time. The well-being of your pet is very important to me. Knowledge about your pet, medicine and/or behavior wise, is a great way for me to stay alert on those certain concerns. About: Ever since I was born I have grown up with dogs in my house. I also housesit for my friends, family and family friends all the time. I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to hang out with all your pets! I am also available on weekends. You do not have to have a fenced in yard. I can also take your dogs out on a leash if that’s what is needed.

About: I have experience taking care of kittens/puppies and senior cats (21 years old). Have an exotic pet? No problem! Raccoon, rabbit, bird, chinchilla, etc. I’m willing to take care of them. I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. If they love making friends, my cats will keep them busy.
About: I've had experience with puppies to powdered sugar muzzles and from <10lbs to 100+! High energy or a friend who loves a nap, I'll do by best to help your dog have a good time even when you aren't there for the fun. I'm currently a graduate student on summer break with a pretty open schedule. I may pick up a more traditional hourly job on the side, but I'm excited for the opportunity to stay busy over the summer and meet some amazing people and pets while I do it. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I like to keep a clean house so no dog has a chance to get into anything that could harm them or chew on anything not wanted.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. About: I have always had a big heart for pets. This includes cats and dogs. I enjoy being around them, feeding them, and cleaning after them. I work full time for a nonprofit, but have flexibility.
