About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly second nature to me. I’ve worked in a veterinary office for five years—both in the kennel and as a veterinary assistant—so I’m comfortable handling pets with all kinds of needs, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. I earned my Bachelor’s in Animal Science from Virginia Tech and my Master’s in Animal Science from Clemson University. Throughout school, I worked in research labs and on university farms, gaining hands‑on experience with many species and learning how to care for animals in a wide range of situations. I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I am a student at Virginia Tech, so I have availability here and there throughout the day! I am also available most evenings/nights for longer periods of time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. At my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, a walkable neighborhood for daily walks and fresh air, and a spacious deck that’s perfect for lounging and sunbathing. Inside, animals are treated like family in a clean, pet-friendly space with constant attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and space, ensuring their pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.
About: I believe in offering dog boarding at affordable rates and want my clients to book with me with the confidence that their dog will be welcomed into our family and cared for like they were our own (who we looove. A lot!). If your dog wants to join in on our active routine, they'll get a 1-1.5 mile walk in the morning, an early afternoon free-play romp in the securely fenced yard, another 1-1.5 mile walk around dinner time, and then hanging with the family in the evening. And I am happy to accommodate any of your preferences for their care! I work from home and am able to spend quality time with the dogs throughout the day. The dogs I care for fit into our family routine, which is active and close-knit. I have a fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and I have two Australian Shepherds who just love having a pack. Mine sleep in crates overnight and are fed separately. They are also happy to share their toys to help keep your dog occupied!

“Abby has watched our dog Rocky several times and has always done a wonderful job! Rocky is a rescue, and a terrier, and she let him take his own time getting to know her and her 2 dobie's (both great). This last time presented some unusual challenges, and Abby went above and beyond to make sure Rocky felt safe with her and that we could continue our vacation. She has always communicated well, and has been fantastic with all of her care. I would highly recommend her for your pet!! I can't say it enough. She's great.”
“Sage lived her absolute best life during her 6 night stay with Sandra! I can not say enough incredible things about her stay. We got daily picture updates and you could see how happy sage was! Sandra was flexible and even allowed for us to drop Sage off super early in the morning, 5am and was happy to do it. She has a huge back yard and sage loved that she often had other dogs to play with. Sandra and her family gave her extra love, treats and even let her play in a kiddie pool. We are happy to have found someone we are comfortable watching our 7 month old bernedoodle, prior to this stay we never left her with anyone else. We will definitely use Sandra for future needs and would recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter.”
