About: I rescued my first cat when I was 13, and took care of her for 3 years. She was terminally ill, so I had to take a lot of extra steps to help her with medicine, feeding, and vet visits. I rescued my second cat when I was 16, and I’ve had her ever since. I also take care of my siblings’ cats when they’re away for work. About: Every neighborhood ive lived in neighbors have come to rely on me to treat their pets as well as i would take care of my own family. I love any and all breeds and people call me the dog whisperer haha but joking aside i truly love these animals and would love to car for yours. I make sure that they feel comfortable get exercise and have ample bathroom breaks the same way i treat my own 3 fur babies at home. Any regiment you want me to follow i will follow to a T. and the best part is there is no breed too big; if you know me the bigger the head the bigger the love haha. In my home we have a fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who all have their own amenities including bowls, beds, toys, cages, and the more. My dogs are family to the fullest and are treated as such. it fits in between kids activities, errands, and school. It allows me to be flexible in what is needed. I just love meeting new fur babies ! My dog Chase had an amazing time! Alexsys always provided us with pics and updates everyday day, something previous dog sitters didn’t provide unless I asked. She was very friendly and I cold tell my dog liked her. When we can to pick up my dog, we had forgotten his dog bowls. Alexsys was kind enough to drive 30mins to our house and deliver them. I am nervous about leaving my little Lucy with someone because she is pretty used to being home with someone all day. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I am confident working with playful puppies, senior pets, and everyone in between. I am patient, outgoing, and truly love providing animals with the care and attention they deserve. I am a student at Virginia Tech, so I have availability here and there throughout the day! I am also available most evenings/nights for longer periods of time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. At my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, a walkable neighborhood for daily walks and fresh air, and a spacious deck that’s perfect for lounging and sunbathing. Inside, animals are treated like family in a clean, pet-friendly space with constant attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and space, ensuring their pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.
