About: I knew from a young age that taking care of animals was what I wanted to do. I started out walking dogs and I then started as a dog bather. I then started training to groom dogs and cats. I also worked at Camp Critter Creek and took care of the dogs and cats and sometimes bunnies that were boarding there.I have volunteered to walk dogs at the Animal Shelter. I can honestly say that animals feel safe around me which I attribute to them sensing my love for animals. I have a German Shepherd of my own that my family and I rescued. We also have a GSP and our little sweetheart cat Vivie. Animals bring me joy to see them happy and healthy. I am available between the hours of 1 PM midnight Monday and Friday, I am also available all day on weekends. Those hours are adjustable if needed. I prefer taking care of your pets in your home since I have two dogs and a cat at my house. I would not want your pet to feel uncomfortable. And a lot of pets prefer their own home where they feel safe and are used to their routine

I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s individual personality (and all their weird little quirks!). I also have quite a bit of hands-on experience beyond my own pets. From 2013–2015, I worked at the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), where I helped provide formal dog training classes and gained experience with dog behavior and positive training techniques. Over the past five years, I’ve also fostered dogs through New River Animal Rescue — everything from puppies to sweet seniors and dogs with very different personalities and needs. I currently have a 6-year-old rescue mutt of my own, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, reinforcing training and routines, or giving a more timid pup some extra patience. Mostly, I just want every dog I care for to feel safe, loved, and at home while their person is away. ❤️ I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine and I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, potty breaks and company throughout the day. I work from home, which means dogs in my care get plenty of supervision, attention and outdoor breaks throughout the day.
