“This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. Mozzarella is a calico-tuxedo, and Maeve is a black domestic long-hair! Both of them are rescues/adopted! The cats were very skittish and only came out when I refilled their bowls. About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. About: My husband and I have been around dogs our entire life, small to large breed, we love dogs! Our little one absolutely loves having them around, being outside, throwing ball, treats, etc. So, your pet would need to be great with kids :) We live in the beautiful Whittier neighborhood with plenty of walking options. Our backyard is enclosed with a high eight foot fence. So, your pet would be plenty comfortable. Or, if you're away, I could come to your pet for their time outdoors. I have a small SUV, so transportation is always an option! We're comfortable letting your pet roam the house while we're here and away. We would only take on more than one dog after talking to the owner of our current stay, and the dogs are compatible, or they come from the same home! With that said, we do not have any four legged pets of our own.... only tanked ones ;) three amano shrimp, two tetras, and two narite snails! So, your pet will have the luxury of our undivided attention! When your pet would come to stay with us, we do ask for as much info/'their 'stuff' as you can bring/provide regarding your pets normal/routine at their home, commands, tricks, toys, food, bedding... etc so your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time here, and so we can keep them in as much of a similar framework as their home. The Rover site allows for pics and videos. So, we like to take a few during their stay and send them to owners! Our current stay and past stays have really enjoyed this! Prior to you or us making a decision on your pets stay, we would like for you all and your pet to visit our home. This will allow you to see and get a sense of our neighborhood and home - where your pet will be staying, and meet us! I hope this has been helpful for you!
About: I'm certified in CPR emergency vet services and have watched dogs in my home for years. If you are working long hours and or regular hours and need someone to take care of your dog while you're at work, I'm the one. Sometimes when we leave our dogs alone at home while we work they can get into a lot of things. They can get bored. They can be destructive and they get very lonely. Most of the clients that I work with have a job work long hours and their dogs at times have torn their house, their furniture or whatever they can find completely up and then they have such a mess when they get home. We love our dogs. We love them more than anything and it's hard to come home like that. So if you're tired of it and need someone to help, I'm the one for you. I'm retired. I have two dogs that are so used to other dogs. They don't get out of my sight. Believe me. I have leashes harnesses beds. Anything they need? Lots of toys and lots of activity. I don't have a fenced-in yard but that's why I take small dogs and I can walk them two to three times a day. Whatever you would like to have done. They are allowed on my furniture and in bed with me if they happen to spend the night. They have full run of the household just like mine does. My two dogs are small and they love other dogs after their first initial visit. My dogs are used to other dogs in my house that are not mine and we all get along. Meet and greets are essential. I love animals of all kinds, but I find that dogs are my ones that I can handle the best. It gives the owner peace of mind knowing that their dog is with someone that will take good care of them. So if you need somebody like me just me know. We'll see what we can work out. Randomly I will be able to watch them overnight. If something happens you have to work late or the weather gets bad and you can't make it to my home. That's not a problem. I've got a big bed and lots of blankets and lots of pillows and lots of dog beds if that's where they like to sleep. 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on shots and flea and tick medicine. All dogs will be checked when they come to my house to make sure that there's no fleas. If they do have fleas then I will bathe them And let you know that they need flea and tick medicine before they return. I have plenty of references if you request. I’m retired and am home all day. I’m prepared ahead of time for hosting dogs. The reason I have a one-day notice is so I can prepare my house with anything I may need so that there is no leaving the dogs by theirself. All pets free roam my home. They get to sleep wherever they are used to. They are fed according to the pet parents instructions. All pets get two to three walks a day .Lots of potty breaks, water provided outside and of course inside. They get lots of hugs and treats if aloud by pet parents.
About: I’ve had my pup since she was born. She recently turned 8 and we’ve been through so many stages of our lives together as we’ve grown. Apart from my dog, I’ve cared and spent time with my families cats and dogs both puppy and senior. I currently work part-time and am looking to enjoy the weather this summer! I am available for those early morning walks or even those afternoon strolls! My dog is solo pup at home so she gets everyone’s attention. She has a nice front and backyard to play in, but sadly we don’t have a fence but she has a playpen to keep her safe from the road.
About: I’ve been in love with animals since I was a child- there has always been dog(s) in my household. During high school and college, I would often dog sit as an overnight sitter for local families and professors! I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. My job consists of mostly evening hours, which leaves me some extra availability throughout the day ! This makes me an extremely flexible person, and I’m more than willing to work with you. I have a lab/pix who is friendly to most dogs after a quick introduction- I also have the ability to keep dogs separated from each other.

About: Ive taken care of and owned dogs for 20+yrs. I have alot of love to give an will love yours like they are my own. I am currently off for summer break and am available all days and hours. I live alone with my furbaby Koda,and I love all animals! I have a year old chocolate lab who loves new friends. I have a fenced in back yard and I have a crate if needed.
