Megan and her family took him in as one of their own, and thanks to them, Groot now has a larger social circle here in Texas than we do! We had never been apart from our puppy and needless to say I was very anxious, Megan sent daily updates and photos, which helped me feel great about how Groot was doing. While he was there he got to socialize with a variety of dogs in all sizes and breeds, kids for him to play with, and a large yard to run off that puppy energy! Could not have asked for more!!! Only have 1 neighbor that is close and it’s family. Plenty of room to run and play.

About: I have taken care of cats since I was young! I can administer any medications to cats if needed. I have 4+ years of veterinary assistant experience. If you have a diabetic cat no problem I can help with that. I don’t mind cleaning litter boxes, doing specific feeding instructions. I am open to anything you need me to do! About: I make sure they’re taken care of properly just like the owner wants. I’m all around an animal lover. I enjoy the walks, playing, and bonding. Availability is whenever. I love teaching dogs tricks! I like setting goals for myself and animals. I like making them feel loved. Giving them the attention and care that they need. I will do anything for anyone. I love helping others. If your animal needs special care then that’s what they will get. I will give them the best care that you ask for. I have a year old puppy that loves attention. He would love a playmate as well. We have had him since he was a month old and he’s been potty trained since about 2 weeks after we had picked him up.

About: I have several years of experience taking care of dogs, cats and horses. I graduated from WVU in animal and nutritional sciences where I gained experience with pets and livestock from classes, working at the WVU farm and dog sitting for my professor. I learned even more about dog behaviors and training when I took a service dog training class. I’ve also fostered dogs for our local humane society. I have a toddler and a full-time job, but currently work from home besides occasional field visits and events, so I am flexible to walk and play with your pups. For clients that I’ve had in the past (and future) - I moved about 10 minutes down the road and do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a wireless fence with extra collars or I can keep them on the leash each time we are outside. We have a large yard back yard beside a farm, so lots of space for playing ball or getting the zoomies out! We have two spoiled dogs of our own to keep your pup company. I also have a very large dog crate, dog beds, toys & bones in my house if needed. Your dog will get treated like one of my own and have access to hangout in the whole house or yard! If you book me for drop-ins, I’m also more than happy to bring in mail, water flowers, etc. while you’re out of town.

About: I have a Yorkie of my own who I have had since I was 16. Over the years, I have often been asked by friends/family to visit their home every so often to let their pets out/feed them while they are unable to do so. I know how hard it is to find care for furbabies so I am eager to help anyone I can! I love adventuring (just look at the picture of my lil man on Long Point Trail lol!) so if your babies like walks, walk we shall :) I am a nurse in Beckley. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week. On the days I am not working, I am able to feed, water, walk, hang out with your pets! Just let me know how long you would like me to spend time with them and we will work something out! :) I can sit with your dog for 30 minutes to an hour at your home (if just a check in… can be there longer, if needed), walk them, feed them, etc. Whatever you need/do for your pet, I will do!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and have been dog sitting for friends and family for most of it. From 2013–2015, I worked at the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), where I helped provide formal dog training classes and gained experience with dog behavior and positive training techniques. I work from home, which means dogs in my care get plenty of supervision, attention and outdoor breaks throughout the day.
