About: I’ve taken care of my old chihuahua and my friends puppies and im comfortable taking care of every age in between! If your dog has any special needs, just let me know. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies, but I am usually available on weekends too! I have a fenced in yard, and I don’t have any of my own pets or children. Sometimes there are bunnies that run through the backyard, but they’re usually in and out.

I love to travel and have recently started visiting baseball stadiums as a new hobby. I have several years of caring experience with canines as I have four little fur kids of my own 1-Chihuahuas (male-Jack) 1- Tomcat (Murphy) and 1- Female kitten (Lady). Im no professional dog trainer, but would say I have a very self taught, well behaved dog, and as such enjoy trying of some training with dogs I watch. My dog, Maple, a two year old golden retriever is very welcoming and friendly to new dogs and loves to play with them.

I fed the dog most days and took him outside to play. My work schedule is different week to week, but I am available for overnight pet/house sitting any time. I work out a lot and love running so I am happy to take dogs with me on walks or runs. I can’t host pets at my apartment complex, but it is my priority to take great care of not only your pets but also your home and living space. If your animal likes attention, I will make sure to give it to them, and if they are active I will take them out if there is a safe space to do so. I am a bus driver and off for the holidays, weekends and summer. I have very strong 10 x 10 kennels set up outside with a 10 x 30 run. And I have a heated and air-conditioned building that will allow me to house 10 pups at a time. I have cots, puzzle feeders, and lots of toys and space to play.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of every size and personality for over 10 years. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and happy in my care. I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, giving oral medications, and keeping routines consistent so dogs feel comfortable while their owners are away. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me for daily walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I love spending time outdoors, playing fetch, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Every pup I care for is treated like part of my own family — with patience, affection, and plenty of tail wags! 🐾 I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pups! I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays after 12 PM, as well as boarding or overnight stays on weekends. I love spending time outdoors and keeping dogs active, happy, and well cared for throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends! Your pup will have plenty of space to play and relax in a safe, supervised environment. I always keep water fresh, maintain clean spaces, and follow your care instructions carefully. Crating is available if preferred, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.

About: I have dog sat on and off for many years (maybe 10) mostly for friends and family, and occasionally cared for cats, but am new to Rover. I have grown up with dogs and have a deep love of them. I am comfortable with any breed, temperament and behavior permitting. I am also comfortable administering most forms of medication. I love getting dogs outside onto trails and exploring creeks (my dogs favorite things to do). I’m a graduate student who has lots of flexibility and works from home most of the time, providing flexibility and near constant supervision. Under most circumstances, I never have to be away for more than 3 hours. I watch over other peoples dogs like I care for my own. I provide frequent photo and text updates for peace of mind. Tell your dog I said hi. I am a graduate student, meaning I take few classes and primarily work from home. I am generally very flexible and available most times everyday. At the very most, I may be away from home for 3 hours at a time. Ultimately, I am more open and flexible than not. I have an unfenced yard (working on fencing it), but take the highest priority of ensuring dogs are safely secured in their harness or collar when going outside. Life inside is pretty normal, the occasional playtime, sleeping around, relaxing. Im no professional dog trainer, but would say I have a very self taught, well behaved dog, and as such enjoy trying of some training with dogs I watch. My dog, Maple, a two year old golden retriever is very welcoming and friendly to new dogs and loves to play with them.

During our 2 dogs stay she kept us updated through the day with how they were doing along with plenty of pictures to put us at ease that they were very well taken care of. She truly treated them as her own. Our young lab and pit mix pup are full of energy and can be a handful and that didn’t bother her. About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.
About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
