“Yogi enjoyed his stay. I like that there are options. Dogs can stay in the house. But if they are more comfortable outside, she has a deck with access to a fenced in grass area. Good communication. No problems.”

“Walter and his family were great hosts and caretakers for our dog. They made us feel super comfortable by sending updates and pictures while we were away. We have already asked them to take care of our dog again because of the wonderful care they provided!”

“I can’t say enough great words about Cindy. She took great care of our precious Hank. She sent photos during his stay. She responded quickly and so friendly to our text whenever we checked in. Our fur baby was treated like her own during our vacation. 150% would recommend Cindy to care for your baby and would use her again and again!”

“Bella did a phenomenal job watching Luna. We were in need of new overnight boarding arrangements and we hit the jackpot finding her. We organized a meet and greet before our pup stayed with her so Luna was very comfortable coming back to stay for the weekend. We received many videos and pictures updates during her stay.. putting our hearts and minds at ease while we enjoyed our trip our of town. I highly recommend her and we will be rebooking in the near future! Thank you for caring for Luna like your own family!”

“Kalley was amazing!! I needed a new sitter as my previous sitter stopped doing in-home boarding, and Kalley was phenomenal. She was very attentive and kept me updated daily on how Marley was doing via text and pictures. I knew he was extremely comfortable in her home which really put me at ease. Thank you Kalley to you and your family for taking such good care of Marley!”

About: I’ve been in the general field of caretaking for about 6 to 7 years. I was a full time nanny to a family of 7 children and 3 dogs for a few years before I married, and before that, I had multiple families for whom I watched their little ones, including the family dog/dogs. I also did some exclusive pet sitting apart from my previously mentioned work experience. I managed both kids and pets at once. I’ve gotten to know a variety of dog breeds. Growing up, we always had dogs. We’ve had a labradoodle, a few small mixed breeds, and a bernedoodle. Our bernedoodle, Rocco, I trained myself. He is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met and so smart. I taught fun tricks but also some useful ones like how to ring bells to indicate he needed to potty. I have loved being around dogs and having them in my life. We don’t currently have a dog since my two kids are young, so we can’t afford our own pup right now, although we certainly will get one in the future. That’s why I’m so excited to be able to provide other people’s dogs a warm and welcoming home away from home where they will be loved on and feel at ease. I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I’m almost always home. Apart from grocery shopping, minor errands, church on Sundays, or the rare trip to families, we are home all the time. Dogs that stay with us will have pretty much constant companionship and attention. We will be available for drop offs everyday except most of Sunday. Sunday evenings will be open though. Dogs that love a family environment will thrive here. We are usually up for the day around 7:00 am. My son loves dogs and will happily have a full conversation with them. He has grown up around many dogs because my mom has dogs and is a seasoned rover sitter herself. My husband works in the evenings so dogs will probably stay up and hang out with me as we unwind. We have a fenced in backyard so I can sit on our deck and let the dogs run, play, and potty easily and frequently. We live on a very quiet and friendly Cul-de-sac in the mountains of West Virginia, near Winchester. Dogs that come here will have a peaceful stay and have a lot of fun!

“Linda was wonderful with our sweet pup, Henry! Daily updates were very helpful and she went above and beyond to show him love. I would definitely have Linda take care of Henry again and would recommend highly!”

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

“Heather was great! Kept me informed on how my dog Cody was doing and sent pics of him with her dogs. Cody seemed to love her Lab. Lots of room to run in her fenced in back yard. Will definitely use her again!”

“Rosie just loves staying with Allison so I took my grumpy old man Tumbles too. He had a great time and I didnt worry one bit while they stayed over night with her. Book with her, you won't regret it@”

“Michelle was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t recommend anyone more for your dog sitting needs. We are very thankful we had her available to watch Mocha! She gave great updates and provided lots of pictures.”

“Jessica was fantastic, I booked last minute and she provided exceptional care for the few days we were out of town. She provided multiple pictures every day and I will definitely book with Jessica again if needed.”

“Gabby took great care of my Bonnie girl while we were away on vacation. She asked good questions during our meet and greet. I am so glad that she was willing to have Bonnie as the only dog in the house for the majority of the 2 weeks we were away. Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Bonnie was being taken care of as if I were there myself.”

“Whitney was incredible good with my little one. She took care of him very well when I was sick. And Tokyo had a great time with her dog Feather. She sent me lots of pictures and lmk all the time of how was my dog, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you Whitney!!!”

“I highly recommend Darian to take care of your pets! I needed someone reliable, and on very short notice, to take care of my precious skittish cat for three weeks. Darian did a wonderful job tending to all my cat's needs, and she accomplished the amazing by quickly getting my suspicious, standoffish cat to allow her to pet her! Darian also went the extra mile of cleaning up the floor several times when my cat coughed up hairballs and had other tummy issues. Darian had not taken care of my pet before, but she stepped in like a pro and took care of her, and kept tabs on my house as well. As I said at first, I highly recommend Darian for your pet!”

“Aly was so communicative and took extra care to interact and snuggle with our cats. We really appreciated her willingness to sit for us last minute and enjoyed our trip knowing she was updating us with pictures of her sleepovers with our girls and Pookie. She was able to administer insulin for our diabetic cat and ensure her dietary needs were met. We were so lucky to find her!”

With me having fridays off I feel this is a great opportunity to spend time helping others and hanging out with animals! Since I do have my own animals, I will not be able to provide in home care. “Carrie Lynn was wonderful with our pups. Her place is very nicely kept and most of all my pups were safe and taken care of. I will definitely book her again! Thank you, Carrie Lynn!!!!”
“Alexsys is absolutely amazing and super sweet!! I had a last minute booking that she was able to take!! She sent me pictures and videos throughout the day showing how much of a good time my Rheya had!! I also LOVE that she was able to play with some other furry friends and had a back yard to get her zoomies out! 100% will be booking with her again!!”

About: Dog care certified in Argentina, as an animal lover I want to pursue career caring for them. Since young, I used to spend a lot of time in dog walks and parks with them. I believe now, I can provide them the perfect environment of a fenced backyard of 10.000 sqf. I love to exercise and pamper pups and we're easy to reach, even for a last-minute need. With some dog training experience and a lot of love for dogs, I look forward to taking care of your family member like one of our own. Depending on your pup's needs, I will take long playtime or jogs with your dog. If your furry family member just needs companionship and loving attention, I am happy to provide that kind of care, too. Photos of your dog will be shared with you throughout their visit. I love to send lots of pictures of my guests. My house is generally a cage-free environment, but will use your crates if that is what your pup is used to at home. I have a couple of gates to use as necessary to separate dogs during meals and to give them a large, safe play area in our home.
“Lucy always does an amazing job with Molly. Her and Christian have really helped me with watching Molly as I prepare for a move, but I will still keep them as my go-to dog sitters for when I take a trip, even if they will live an hour away. The dog's excitement as I approach their house to drop her off with them tells me how well she's cared for while there.”

“Lisette is WONDERFUL and her family is also so nice. She was very friendly and lovable, super communicative, helpful, and also flexible. She took great care of my dog and sent photos throughout the day, and he was really happy and relaxed (and in no hurry to leave) when I came to pick him up so I know he loved being there! I definitely recommend her and will send my dog there again anytime she's available!”

“Gabby was exceptional taking care my dog, Luna! It was my first time leaving her with a sitter and using Rover and she made the experience so much easier. She loved on my pup and sent me updates with pictures and videos throughout her overnight stay. Gabby is professional, friendly, and caring towards the pup and their human. I needed some handholding and she was super kind. I’d recommend Gabby any time!”

“Wonderful sitter! You can tell she really cares about her campers. We have our baby scheduled with her for a long weekend and I fully trust her to provide excellent care. My little baby is my pride and joy :)”

“My Ellie was so happy and tired when I picked her up! I can tell she had a great time with this family 🙂. Allison was very communicative and promptly greeted me upon drop-off/pick-up!”

“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. If you read this Linda, I am interested in that food you had there for your fosters. Please shoot me a message, I may look at ordering it to try next time. Thanks again!”

“Siska did an incredible job watching Prayse . She kept me informed with pics and updates ; which , helped me feel very relaxed with the care I knew Praise was receiving . Would highly recommend.”

“This was the first time we used Rover.com so we were a little apprehensive. Linda made that first time experience wonderful. Words cannot describe how pleased we were with response, friendliness and most of all the care our fur baby received. Would recommend her service without hesitation.”

“My dog Pebbles loves Lauren and her adorable, gentle children! They are the perfect match! We are so blessed to have found a sitter who makes sure she feels like part of her family. 🤗”

About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!

“Day is a true animal lover. My dog, Buddy and cats Phantom and Mouse were immediately drawn to her. She was there for me at a last minute dog walking request and helped me out by ensuring that my furry friends were well taken care of. I am so grateful to have found a devoted animal lover.”

“We had an awesome experience with Agnesa. She truly demonstrated to be a professional and knowledgeable dog sitter/trainer. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our 7 month old 60 pound labrador puppy under her care for the weekend. Agnesa kept us informed every day with multiple updates including pictures, videos, and observations about how our beloved puppy was doing during his stay. Our puppy is a high energy labrador and she managed to take great care of him while keeping him engaged in training sessions during his stay. She made sure our puppy and her dogs got along together and even took them on walks. We are completely grateful of her work and would definitely consider boarding our dog with her again. I got regular updates, including great pictures, and Molly seemed to be having a great time as a member of their pack. She came home tired but happy, I couldn't ask for better care while I was out of town. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!”
