About: I have owned my own personal animals for the past 6 years, I have 3 dogs (all beautiful muts) and 8 cats. Aside from having my own furry kids, I've also worked in animal rescue for a little over 4 years. This job field has given me so much experience working with every sort of dog breed, and any cat temperament. I currently work a full time job Monday-Thursday but I would love to be more involved in the animal field again. About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet in my day and I can even stay with your pet for the day while taking my classes with them sitting by my side. I am not able to currently watch pets at my house but would be more then happy to come and stay with your pet over night for there comfort.

About: I love dogs! I’ve taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and currently have one of my own. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, walking and training dogs on and off lead. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

I currently work a full time job Monday-Thursday but I would love to be more involved in the animal field again. With me having fridays off I feel this is a great opportunity to spend time helping others and hanging out with animals! Since I do have my own animals, I will not be able to provide in home care. However, I will be more than happy to set something up with you to do care for your pets in their own home!

I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. “Lauren was great with our dog Maggie! We left our our dog (7lbs) with Lauren for 7 days while we were traveling. Lauren was responsive with communication and was good about sending pictures of Maggie. Our sweet pup can be anxious and doesn’t do well in new environments but Lauren had a very sweet demeanor and nice home and I think Maggie became quite comfortable there. I would definitely leave our fur baby with her again!”
