I grew up in a home that always had dogs, and when I got my first dog in my early twenties, I continued owning and caring for dogs for nearly 31 years. About: I've had pets all my life cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, Bunnies, and taken car of horses. I love animals and am not afraid of their messes. During the summer I have plenty of time to take care of pets though during the school year certain times of day I won't be available due to classes. I've learned to come at pets with the caution they need. I'm very friendly and always want to be sweet to pets but I can be tough if the situation calls for it to not let animals walk all over me. About: I have always had a full house of pets all ages and sizes, and years of experience with farm animals too. My husband and I adopt those in need, and I pretty much married Ace Ventura. We take care of friends and family's pets and farm animals whenever needed. I work from home. My husband does too. We drive to Winchester at least 2 times a day to drop off and pickup our kids from school. We can pretty much work out a schedule that works for you. We have cats and dogs, and a large 2 story home with live in attic. Our dogs are trained to sleep freely and roam our property off leash. But we have large crates (not wire) if needed, and we walk on leashes any pets we care for every couple of hours.

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

I still do inside my home sometimes for a friend's when they go on vacation I can do any days depending on my work schedule that I have. In my home I have a 50+ lbs spayed female pit bull and a 5lb female chihuahua. In a clients home I would like to be provided with any information regarding food aggression, possessiveness, schedule the dogs follow and any special accommodations needed to best suit the pet(s). I am very flexible and have worked with all kinds of dogs with different temperaments and needs. I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. They do go out mid day by a dog walker that comes in. And then after work they go outside, eat dinner, outside again and then hangout and play until bedtime where we do night treat and one more bathroom break. I have pets at home that are super dog friendly. They absolutely love any company. I volunteer with a rescue so they are very used to other dogs coming in and out. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, crate dogs if needed (one of my girls get crated and one does not)

About: I have loved and cared for 10 of my own fur friends(6 dogs, 4 cats) and been so lucky to love and care for many many more. From farm to house to tank to pen I have cared for pretty much everything except insects and arachnids. Sunday I go to church it’s only estimated 2 hours long they will be crated while I’m away. I own a Yorkie, and I have chickens in my backyard. I don’t have a fence so you will need a lease so I can walk them.
