Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Bonnie was being taken care of as if I were there myself.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. “Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. I do work full time so a typical day for me is waking up early, I take my dogs out, feed them, meditate if needed, one more potty break before leaving. I currently work a flexible part-time job, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to care for pets and give them the attention they deserve. Since I also have 4 cats and a 4-month-old puppy of my own, pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I enjoy spending my free time with them. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for whether I’m in my home or a client’s home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or older. In a client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully to keep pets on their normal routine and help them feel as stress-free and comfortable as possible while their owner is away.
About: Over the years I have worked with many different kinds of animals from house pets to farm animals to exotics. I have always had a passion for animals and grew up taking care of them. I have been working in the animal field since age 16 and currently work as an ER exotic veterinary technician student. I am employed full time, however my job allows me to bring pets into work with me should they need monitoring, time sensitive medications, etc. I am trained to handle both fearful and friendly pets as well as administering medications and monitoring overall health and behavior. About: My wife & I grew up with pets all kinds and recently we adopted a dog from a rescue and that spark has been reignited of what we've been missing. We have thought long and hard and prayed about doing this. We have a 11 year old son that loves to walk the animals and give them exercise and plenty of opportunities to do their business. My Wife home schools and I currently work part-time so someone will always be home to monitor your pet/pets. We have been told that recent pets we've sitted are in heaven when their in our home. About: I have experience not only pet sitting in someone’s home, but also outside of their home. I currently work as a dog bather, so I have experience with animals and handling there too! I am currently working part time, only about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to give that special dog in your life a walk for you when you’re unable! About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

About: I’ve had two dogs over the past 10 years that I have assisted in taking care of at my home. My families second dog passed away recently and the house is now empty of pets. As a dog-loving individual I would love to be able to watch over others’ pets and provide the proper care for them. I’m currently in the process of working part time with the city of Winchester’s summer camp for kids. I would be working during the week days and off all weekends. I have a large yard in a subdivided neighborhood that is great for taking walks. My home currently doesn’t have any pets living there. There are plenty of dog beds and furniture that is acceptable for pets to relax and sleep on. It is a three story home with 2 sets of stairs in it.
