About: I love dogs! I’ve taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and currently have one of my own. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, walking and training dogs on and off lead. I currently work only part-time, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. There are a few weekends or nights that I’ll be away, but we can book in advance. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

About: My name is Kaitlyn and I am a full blown animal lover . I am new to rover but not new to the business , which explains why I do not have reviews YET. It does not matter if the breed is vicious , big, little I have a way with your fur baby.I have always been know. In the family as "the dog whisper" I pay close attention to a dogs body language and understand how some dogs have hidden fears with new people or places. Once I have developed a understanding I meet your fur baby where their at to comfort and love on them. Excersise is key, while under my super vision we will take long walks, play fetch and plenty of love. I have three cats and a puppy under one. I simply LOVE animals. I am available for your convienience threw E-mail, call or even text. I will arrive to your home as scheduled , love and bond with your pup , we will then go on a 30-69 minute walk around your neighborhood . I will not just leave your pup without plenty of kisses and treats The pets in my home are able to roam free with me and my pup as long as owner is comfortable. I meet your standards for a happy pup

I have a fenced yard (about half an acre) and another 9 acres of unfenced area. I work from home during the week, so will have plenty of time for walks, play-time, etc. I am good with all ages/sizes. I will ensure your dog is comfortable and safe, and has plenty of attention! I work from home so am always around to care for your pets! Will have plenty of potty breaks and play time. “If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

I have experience working with complex nutritional needs, medical requirements, and individualized care plans for dogs of every age and temperament. I am committed to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that serves as a trusted extension of your home. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your dog’s specific requirements in detail and to develop a personalized care program tailored to their needs. All dogs are cared for all day with multiple opportunities to play outside, go on walks around our 5 acres and play with other dogs depending on temperament. Dogs will receive multiple break times throughout the day, averaging every hour to 2 hours and can spend as much time outside as they would like with a fully fenced in dog specific area. Pictures will be sent each night of boarding around 7pm and once per day of day care. 30 mins of structured exercise daily is included in all boarding and we strive to make your dogs feel right at home. I have a full fenced in dog specific area that directly connects to my basement setup where dogs will have the ability to spend time out of kennels and play with other well mannered dogs if you would like. I am available any day of the week with a few days notice and around most holidays as we do not travel for most throughout the year.
