We've recently renovated our attached brick garage into a dedicated boarding space designed to provide a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment for your pets. Unlike many boarding facilities, we only board one family's pets at a time. Whether you have one dog, multiple dogs, dogs and cats together or just cats, your family will be our only boarding guests during their stay! This allows us to provide more individualized care while reducing stress and eliminating interactions with unfamiliar animals. Each guest has access to a spacious 8' x 6' x 4' kennel, but they're not required to stay inside it. The kennel can remain open, giving them the option to relax in their own secure space or enjoy the larger boarding area. Comfortable bedding, including a traditional dog bed and raised cooling cot, is provided! Someone is almost always home, and we work remotely, allowing for frequent interaction, supervision, and additional attention for pets who need it. Security cameras are also in place throughout the boarding area and outside our home for added safety and peace of mind! We provide treats, enrichment, and natural chews (with owner approval) and do our best to follow your pet's normal routine. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) About: I had a dog that had a liver shunt and I kept him going with medication and good loving care. He lived to be 10 years old which my vet normally they don’t live past 5 years old. I am a retired banker and it’s always been my dream to be a pet sitter. I have some back issues so I would only be able to take care of small pets up to 20 pounds. Also I would prefer that the owner of the animal have a fenced in yard as I am not able to walk long distances. They were still able to get her to go outside for a potty break, which is all we really needed, but they even got her to go to the park and play fetch for awhile! About: I currently have certification in K9 first aid & cpr, 2 dog grooming certifications, and proper sanitation and storage. If you’re looking for somewhere that won’t cage your dog full-time. Whom also works with animals for a living look no farther!! I also bath doggies for an extra charge just ask! I currently run my own business (Dog Grooming) in my own home so I will constantly be with your doggy and have tons of experience! Although I don’t have a fenced in yard. I have a very safe and friendly neighborhood I can walk your doggie in. I also have a small fenced section in my yard. About: I have a very happy Goldendoodle who is 5 years old. She’s very friendly and I take her on lots of adventures! I’ve done house sitting and pet care for the past 4 years. I’m happy to take your pups on walks, to play at the dog park or visit them at your home, whichever you prefer! I was in a house with a yard, but I recently moved to an apartment. There are very nice parks within 2 miles of my apartment and there’s a small dog park on site. I can take your dogs for walks 2-3 times per day from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m., weather permitting My apartment complex has a small dog park and there are bigger parks nearby for on-leash walks. Also, if you’re okay with it, I can take them to a big dog park in Garland.
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. When I was in college I became the go to pet sitter to watch my friends and family pets for years. Because I am a bit of a stronger person, my friends know that I can handle some of their bigger dogs tugging on the leash. Also, with my beard, dogs think I am one of them. We've recently renovated our attached brick garage into a dedicated boarding space designed to provide a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment for your pets. Unlike many boarding facilities, we only board one family's pets at a time. Whether you have one dog, multiple dogs, dogs and cats together or just cats, your family will be our only boarding guests during their stay! This allows us to provide more individualized care while reducing stress and eliminating interactions with unfamiliar animals. Each guest has access to a spacious 8' x 6' x 4' kennel, but they're not required to stay inside it. The kennel can remain open, giving them the option to relax in their own secure space or enjoy the larger boarding area. Comfortable bedding, including a traditional dog bed and raised cooling cot, is provided! Someone is almost always home, and we work remotely, allowing for frequent interaction, supervision, and additional attention for pets who need it. Security cameras are also in place throughout the boarding area and outside our home for added safety and peace of mind! We provide treats, enrichment, and natural chews (with owner approval) and do our best to follow your pet's normal routine. About: I’ve mostly worked as an RN but I’m currently a stay at home momma! I've always had a passion in helping others, but my second passion in life is caring for animals! What better side gig than to help care for some lovely pets. I do have experience through my nephew with service dogs. I attended his two-week training to learn how to handle the dog and commands. I've always had pets, particularly cats and dogs, with a few fishy exceptions. I've been trusted by many friends and family members as the go-to person for pet sitting.
