I am a bus driver and off for the holidays, weekends and summer. I have very strong 10 x 10 kennels set up outside with a 10 x 30 run. “Kristen came in clutch! We made a last-minute decision to extend our vacation and booked an Airbnb in the small town of Cadiz where sitter selection was sparse. Kristen responded to my request immediately and was willing to drive 30 minutes after work to take care of Bogey. The visit was flawless, she followed directions perfectly, and we returned to a happy dog. His bully looks were no issue for her either. I also appreciated the pics she sent. We felt comfortable leaving his care in her hands and would do so again. Maybe with more than 7 hours notice next time ?”

MY DETAILED RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWED LEFT BY DEBBY- I wanted to give a detailed breakdown of what happened with Debby since rover will not take down the review even though they did a thorough investigation with photos/video and nasty messages sent by Debby to me. I took on this booking even though I had a gut feeling not to, but I ignored it and I wish I had not done that. I was asked last minute by Debby to care for her diabetic cat, she told me her cat was great with strangers and would have no issue with taking the insulin shots from me (lie number one). The morning of my first visit, Debby had messaged me informing she had birds in the house and to not pay attention to them.. now let me start off by saying that due to a past traumatic experience with a previous clients birds, I have developed a fear of being near them in close spaces (to which she pokes fun at in her review) and had I known she had them, I would not have accepted this booking. I was hesitant to enter her house but she said they were in a cage so I proceeded with the visit, upon opening her door one of the birds almost FLEW OUTSIDE because they were NOT in a cage(lie number two). I was immediately concerned by this not only due to my fear of birds but due to this being a safety risk considering the birds could’ve flew out the door if I didn’t get to it in time. After this happened, I wanted to turn around and leave but I couldn’t because I needed to give her cat an insulin shots. After I went upstairs, I could not find the cat anywhere and after ten minutes I found her hiding under the bed hissing at me, she was in no way friendly towards strangers. I did my best to get her to come with me, I was at the visit way longer than the scheduled 30 minutes to try to make sure her cat got the shot. After I was finally able to lure her out with a treat, I had to quickly grab her and administer the shot.. she clawed at me and bit me several times (photo proof was sent to rover). I was very taken back by this visit due to unexpected birds and a cat who was the complete opposite of what their owner described. I felt unsafe to continue the booking and feared that due to the cat’s unwillingness to come to me that she might not get her shots injected properly so her health was my number one priority, I immediately called rover support to report everything that had happened and I also informed Debby at the same time. Debby was awful to me, made fun of me and treated me with complete disregard and through all of that, I still remained calm, collective and professional. After she had hinted at threatening me, I cut off all contact with her and immediately reported that to rover as well. At that point it was now rover and Debby’s responsibility for the cats care, I felt even more unsafe after the awful things Debby said to me. I didn’t have to but I even worked with rover to find another sitter and wanted them to make sure they made others aware of the trust situation, I even offered to take the cat it’s vet or local cat sitting agency but that was denied and rover told me they would handle it all. After one week, I found that my rover account had been suspended and I had to call rover and speak with over ten different reps in one week to get my account back.. finally after they realized I had done NO wrong and it was all the pet owner, I got my account back and a lengthy apology from Rover. Upon getting my account back, I noticed Debby had left that review and I was devastated by that. I have worked so hard on this app to give the best care for others animals and that’s been proven by every other review just for hers to completely destroy all the good I’ve been doing by lying. I’m truly upset with Rover for not only allowing that review to be left there, but for allowing Debby to even still have an account after her lies, threats and defamation. I hope that no other rover sitters go through what I did with her. With all of that being said, I refuse to delete my account and start over as I want people to see all the good I’ve done and to be aware of what truly happened with Debby. I hope to continue to provide the best care possible for all my current rover clients and future ones, please do not let one woman’s lies deter you away from someone who truly loved and care for animals with her whole heart. I am a bus driver and off for the holidays, weekends and summer. I have very strong 10 x 10 kennels set up outside with a 10 x 30 run. And I have a heated and air-conditioned building that will allow me to house 10 pups at a time. I have cots, puzzle feeders, and lots of toys and space to play.

About: I have four of my own pups at home, they rage from an Australian Shepard, great-dane boxer mix, and a pitt bull black lab mix, to a pug! I also own livestock and small farm animals so i’m great in any situation! I have recently graduated so I am available early mornings also! I work part time so I am available almost daily! I’m able to come last minute so there’s no stress about wether or not your pup will be safe and cared for! If you’re trying out a new routine or sticking to the one you know works for your pup(s) I will follow any schedule from morning till night! I know how important it is for me to have things going to plan in order to be stress free and I want you to have the stress free time you deserve while I care for your animals your way!

About: Hi! My name is Jordyn and I can’t wait to meet you and your pet. After losing my mom at a young age, animals became a big part of my life. I am a quiet person who has a lot of anxiety and animals seem to really help with that. Family and friends started to rely on me to watch, bathe, feed, walk or just spend time with their pet once they realized how much animals meant to me. Once I turned 18, I discovered Rover and wanted to help others by offering my services to people who might need help with their animals. I’m currently home full time during the week. I am not working right now. Since I am home full time at this time, I try to take my dogs out whenever I can. I am able to do whatever needs done when checking in on an animal or when having them in my home. When checking in on an animal, I am able to stay as long as I’m needed. (I usually stay a little longer than the time needed to give the babies some extra love before leaving!)

About: I have been an animal lover all my life and i will take care of your pets daily needs as i do my own animals. I'm currently working full time but have a very flexible schedule. I can be there to help take care of their daily needs or just do drop in visits to tend to them. I currently have 2 full grown dogs for your pups to play with in a large yard. I am also able to walk daily when needed.

About: I've taken care of dogs since i've been 10. I grew up on a farm all my life. I've been relied on a lot to take care of different types of animals.. but dogs and cats are my favorite!! I enjoy dogs and cats very much and with me being a influencer i think i can make your animal famous for a day;) My scheduling is always very open, but if sometimes something comes up then I just have to plan accordingly to the situation, other than that i'm pretty good! We have a farm so are dogs are always having a lot of energy. I make sure that the dog has water, food and if needs medical attention it gets it right away.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals, and pet sitting has given me the chance to spend time with so many wonderful pets. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or other unique animals, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I enjoy going on walks, playing, giving plenty of attention, and sticking to each pet’s routine so they stay happy and relaxed. I will also keep you updated with messages and pictures, so you’ll always know how your companion is doing. I work 4 x 10 shifts. This means that I am Available for evenings, overnights, and three mornings every week. I am available 7 days a week for at home pet sitting, walking, and drop ins. Every weekend I am available for doggy day care and boarding. How convenient for us both! When it comes to walking our furry friends, I’m always extra cautious of keeping leashes on them. Of course i make sure they always have water and food available as it is important for their well being. I also make sure to keep anything chewable (that isn’t a doggie toy) away from them.

About: I have six dogs of my own, I have been an AKC breeder since 2009, and I would love the opportunity to spoil your pets while you are away. I have lots of time, love, and a nice facility for them. I currently work part-time, I am away 2 1/2 hours in the morning and again 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon.
