Bentley has only been with us for 4 months so we weren't sure how it would go. It went amazing. So much so he even looked a little sad to be leaving Linda. She gave updates even when I wasn't able to ask or get right back with her. Bentley has a bit of a finicky stomach and has zero problems since we brought him home. I offer regular walking and feeding schedules, basic grooming if requested, you provide your dietary food and treats I'm retired, all children and pets out of my home. Its to quiet here, I miss caring for somebody or something. My hands need busy work and I would be glad to take care of your fur baby! I have 12 acres of property with plenty of space for your furry four legged babies to run around! Although not fenced in, we are in the peaceful country side down a dead end Road, providing a quiet streat for long walks. About: I currently have 4 cats whose ages range from 1 to 10 years old, so I have experience caring for cats in many different stages of life. About: My entire life, I have had a dog. Whether it be a hunting dog (well, my dad had those), or an indoor dog, I have always been around them. I currently have an English Mastiff named Roxi, a Shih-tzu/Yorkie mix named Bella, and a mixed breed I rescued named Brutus! I love them more than anything!! My dogs also love it because they love having friends over! :) I strive to give them the best life and always keep them up to date at the vet and groomer. I will not hesitate to make a vet trip if I sense that something is wrong. My two year old twins also love dogs, so that makes it fun for everyone! I am home every day, all day! I work as an on call nurse every other week, so then my husband is home to puppy sit! We love our dogs more than some people love their kids, haha! Our dogs have every necessity they need to live a happy life! Our dogs are allowed to sleep with us and on the couch, and when they are not on the couch they are on their very expensive beds! :) We treat them better than family! Our dogs get to go outside frequently to play, as well as relaxing on our gated back porch. We do go for walks, but our big girl, Roxi the mastiff, has some hip tenderness so she isn't as active as she used to be!

About: I have always had a full house of pets all ages and sizes, and years of experience with farm animals too. My husband and I adopt those in need, and I pretty much married Ace Ventura. We take care of friends and family's pets and farm animals whenever needed. I work from home. My husband does too. We drive to Winchester at least 2 times a day to drop off and pickup our kids from school. We can pretty much work out a schedule that works for you. We have cats and dogs, and a large 2 story home with live in attic. Our dogs are trained to sleep freely and roam our property off leash. But we have large crates (not wire) if needed, and we walk on leashes any pets we care for every couple of hours.

We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I’ve taken care of many different pets over the past two years. I created a Facebook page for pet sitting and have watch dogs, cats, even ducks. I love any and all pets! I’m currently taking collage classes online while doing pet sitting. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet in my day and I can even stay with your pet for the day while taking my classes with them sitting by my side. I listen, I care, I am communicative. I promise- your pup / animal is in amazing hands with me! Since I work from home, I am able to work off of your schedule! I am flexible as early as 530am and late as midnight :-) I have 6 acres of land but usually am always supervising the pups no matter what. Potty breaks after meals and before meals and before bedtime. I always follow instructions from the owner before interactions with my pups. I usually will have a doggie on a leash at my house unless the owner states otherwise.
About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all times at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I have easy access to neighborhood parks.

I grew up in a family that bred and trained Golden Retrievers and Chocolate Labrador Retrievers to duck hunt. I have also leash-broken hounds, German Shepherds, and Siberian Huskies. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. My family and I grew up with a family dog and then got a puppy in high school that we trained. Even would watch the neighbors pets when they went away. Most recently, I have watched/stayed with a dog when the family traveled. Love all animals, but especially dogs!
