We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. About: Hi, my name is Tiersa and my family and I have recently moved from Georgia to come “back home” to the panhandle of West Virginia. I have lots of experience with drop-in visits, walks, and especially boarding (though I’m currently not boarding until our house is finished being built). When I’m not walking and playing with new animal friends I’m at home, homeschooling my children who are 14 and 12. About: Every neighborhood ive lived in neighbors have come to rely on me to treat their pets as well as i would take care of my own family. I love any and all breeds and people call me the dog whisperer haha but joking aside i truly love these animals and would love to car for yours. I make sure that they feel comfortable get exercise and have ample bathroom breaks the same way i treat my own 3 fur babies at home. Any regiment you want me to follow i will follow to a T. and the best part is there is no breed too big; if you know me the bigger the head the bigger the love haha. But my small babies are always just as important. I am currently a stay at home mom so school hours are wide open and despite a few week day evenings being booked, overnights are highly available. In my home we have a fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who all have their own amenities including bowls, beds, toys, cages, and the more. My dogs are family to the fullest and are treated as such. it fits in between kids activities, errands, and school. It allows me to be flexible in what is needed. I just love meeting new fur babies ! My three dogs spend a lot of time inside it is just what is comfortable for them. I also have a fenced in backyard that they do enjoy.

I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and those needing a little extra patience or special care. I understand that every animal has its own personality, and I strive to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure your pets are treated like family. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to focus on pet care. I’m available most weekdays and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. This schedule allows me to give pets the attention they need without feeling rushed, whether that’s exercise, playtime, or simply keeping them company. In my home, I provide a safe and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I have a clean and pet-friendly space and treat every animal as if they were my own. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, and any special needs. Whether in my home or yours, I’m dependable, gentle, and detail-oriented. I’m also experienced with deep cleaning, litter box maintenance, and ensuring a stress-free environment so pets stay happy and healthy while you’re away.

I am so glad that she was willing to have Bonnie as the only dog in the house for the majority of the 2 weeks we were away. Bonnie doesn't get along with many other dogs, so when her stay overlapped with another dog that was there for a couple days before her, Gabby immediately let us know and was prepared to keep them separated. Gabby gave us frequent updates and pictures that helped reassure us that she was doing well. All of the instructions I left for her feeding were followed exactly as well. I am so grateful that we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Bonnie was being taken care of as if I were there myself.”

“If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”

“Wow, I don't even know where to start with the 5-star accolades (and I don't normally leave reviews)!!!!! I was so fortunate to find Kristen after my usual vet boarding was completely booked. After Ammo's 7 day stay with Kristen I can't even imagine boarding him at the vet again, nor any place else. He was so happy when I picked him up and at first he didn't even want to get in the car to go home, LOL!!!! He had the best time playing with his new friends and got some much needed exercise. In fact, he was so tired that he slept for 12 hours straight last night and I couldn't be happier! Kristen is very responsive, caring and has the best personality.....the dogs just love her, and so do we! So if you're looking for the perfect boarding "resort", this is it!
