About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I like to keep a clean house so no dog has a chance to get into anything that could harm them or chew on anything not wanted.

Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

I have cared for animals of all ages as well, from tiny puppies and kittens to seniors if all kinds! I have been employed full time in the veterinary field as an assistant for almost 4 years and have truly found my passion for caring for our furry, scaled, feathered, and hairless friends. About: I’ve been a dog mom for almost a decade. Have two pups of my own and enjoy playing with them in our big open yard. I am currently a stay at home mom so caring for dogs is already built into my day because I have two of my own. We treat dogs as part of the family. About: I have less experience with dogs. Only ones I’ve had as pets. I would be great for walks. I am reliable and timely with requests. I have a full time job, but looking for evening walks or weekend care. I am familiar with medications, shots, and feeding tubes. I enjoy walking and would gladly take your dog to the park for a stroll. At home, we have few rules for my cats. We have pet friendly furniture and toys. Dogs that get along with cats would be fine!
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of all ages and sizes since I was young and none have given me any trouble. I don’t mind picking up messes that any dog might make. I absolutely love playing with them and taking them on walks. I doordash as my job so my availability is 100% open to any kind of needs your dog has. I pick what hours I work with door dash but normally I’ll door dash throughout the day then come home for the day around 5. Although when watching any animal I tend to switch up my hours so I can make sure your pup is getting all the love and attention it needs. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
