About: Ever since I was born I have grown up with dogs in my house. I also housesit for my friends, family and family friends all the time. I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to hang out with all your pets! I am also available on weekends. You do not have to have a fenced in yard. I can also take your dogs out on a leash if that’s what is needed.
About: I’ve taken care of my old chihuahua and my friends puppies and im comfortable taking care of every age in between! If your dog has any special needs, just let me know. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies, but I am usually available on weekends too! About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

They will live as my Casey does… perhaps a bit spoiled. ;-). My aim is to have a dog friend or two over for a safe place where your pup can come and not be caged while you are gone. Casey needs the exercise but more than anything she wants friends! I am not looking to run a dog hotel, just a family environment with a loving atmosphere. Because of my job I cannot leave during the day for long periods of time so your pup will be by my side most of the time during my care. About: I have been around animals and taking care of them since I was a child. As a child my parents had cats that I would have to watch. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. This allows easy access to restroom breaks. I am happy to crate your dog if needed but always love to be able to have them roam. I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. If they love making friends, my cats will keep them busy.
About: I’ve always loved animals. Growing up, my family had three dogs and a cat, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Now that I have my own dog, I truly understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Being around animals is something I truly enjoy, and I treat every pet as if they were my own I offer drop-in visit and dog walking, and I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and routine. During visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m also happy to give medications, clean up accidents, and keep litter boxes or living areas tidy. For walks, I focus on safe, enjoyable exercise at your dog’s pace. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away
About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. I’ve had a few clients over the years where I’ve taken care of their dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and other farm animals. I’ve helped run a small farm as well so if you have horses or other animals that need looked after, I’m all in! I have a college degree and manage a restaurant now. I’m very responsible, handle stress well, and have always taken my obligations very seriously. I’m trustworthy and always on time. That’s part of being a business woman :) Besides that though, I truly love animals and I’m very fond of dogs, cats, and horses. I’d love to help you out so be sure to get in touch! About: I've had experience with puppies to powdered sugar muzzles and from <10lbs to 100+! High energy or a friend who loves a nap, I'll do by best to help your dog have a good time even when you aren't there for the fun. I'm currently a graduate student on summer break with a pretty open schedule. I may pick up a more traditional hourly job on the side, but I'm excited for the opportunity to stay busy over the summer and meet some amazing people and pets while I do it. As I have pets of my own who are a bit easily stressed, I do not offer services where your pet will be in my home. However, I have no issues coming to you! While in school I worked at horse stables for 4 summers and had multiple golden retrievers, cow dogs and farm animals to take care of. I work from home full time with my dogs by my side. About: Animals have been my love since a young age. Most of my career and volunteer work have been revolving around animals of different species. I've worked for several years in this field group to learn and understand animals along with their different needs. I know how to read body language and what signs to look for if sick. I've worked at a pet store for a few years and a shelter, I as well have some experience at vet clinics. I also have experience with professional dog bathing. I myself have an assortment of different animals I take care of daily; ranging from cats, dogs, reptiles, and small animals. My goal is to help and educate pet parents when I can while making sure they're animals get the best care. Safety will always be my first priority every time. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
